1. GENERAL. The takeoff warning function is in the proximity switch electronics unit (PSEU). The aural warning module gives the sound of an intermittent horn for a takeoff warning.
In the Air. The aural warning system can give the takeoff warning when the airplane is in the air.
On the Ground. The airplane must be on the ground and you must move either thrust lever to takeoff power (thrust resolver angle more than 53° ) before the aural warning system gives the takeoff warning sound. The takeoff warning occurs if any of these conditions occur :
You hear the warning when all of the following conditions are true :
- The stabilizer is out of the green band, - The TE flaps are not in a takeoff position, - The TE flaps are in a skew or asymmetry condition, - The TE flaps have an uncommanded motion (UCM), - The LE flaps and slats are not extended - The LE flaps and slats have an uncommanded motion (UCM) - The ground spoilers have pressure, - The speedbrake lever is not down, - The parking brake is set.
EFFECTIVITY ALL
This warning tells the flight crew that the ground spoiler interlock valve is open.
- The ground spoiler interlock valve is open, - The leading edge flaps are retracted, - The airplane is in the air. To stop the warning, open the LANDING GEAR, TAKEOFF WARNING CUTOFF circuit breaker on the load control (P6).

1.1. Aural Warning Module. The aural warning module receives discrete inputs from various systems. The aural warning module uses these inputs to make aural alert sounds for the flight crew. The aural warning module has two channels. Each channel is the same. The two channels are connected in parallel. If one channel fails, the audio output of the aural warning module will decrease by 6db. Test Switch. A test switch is on the top of the aural warning module. The test switch checks operation of both channels of the aural warning module. (See 31-51 -00 for test operation)

System 1 & system 2 each calculate separate output signals and are combined for a takeoff warning. This turns on the intermittent horn in the aural warning module. Only system 1 is used to calculate the aural warning when the airplane is in the air. This turns on the intermittent horn in the aural warning module.

2. PSEU BITE. General. The PSEU can help you find and isolate a fault in the systems that the PSEU monitors and controls. Front BITE on the PSEU lets you interface with the BITE functions in the PSEU. The BITE does not operate when the forward access door is closed. T/O Warn Test. The T/O WARN TEST shows takeoff warning system inputs (except for stabilizer trim) that have not changed during the current flight. T/O Warn Report. The T/O WARN REPORT function lets you see which conditions caused the most recent takeoff warning to occur.

1. GENERAL. The takeoff warning function is in the proximity switch electronics unit (PSEU). The aural warning module gives the sound of an intermittent horn for a takeoff warning.
In the Air. The aural warning system can give the takeoff warning when the airplane is in the air.
On the Ground. The airplane must be on the ground and you must move either thrust lever to takeoff power (thrust resolver angle more than 53° ) before the aural warning system gives the takeoff warning sound. The takeoff warning occurs if any of these conditions occur :
You hear the warning when all of the following conditions are true :

This warning tells the flight crew that the ground spoiler interlock valve is open.
- The ground spoiler interlock valve is open, - The leading edge flaps are retracted, - The airplane is in the air. To stop the warning, open the LANDING GEAR, TAKEOFF WARNING CUTOFF circuit breaker on the load control (P6).
