DESCRIPTION: INTIG - D is a complex of Ossein Hydroxyapatite Compound and minerals which is used in Osteoporosis and increased mineral requirements during pregnancy and lactation Vitamin D plays an important role in the maintenance of organ systems Vitamin D regulates the calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by promoting their absorption from food in the intestines, and by promoting re-absorption of calcium in the kidneys. DOSAGE: Tablet Daily 1 to 2 tablets before meals or as directed by the physician Suspension Children: 1 teaspoonful (5 to 10 ml) twice daily before meals or as directed by the physician Adults: 1-2 tablespoonsful (15 to 30 ml) twice daily before meals or as directed by the physician SPECIAL DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS: The dosage in osteoporosis is increased as per the recommendation of Physician PRECAUTION: In hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria (renal calculi) higher doses need to be reduced ADVERSE EFFECTS: When taken over a prolonged period the drug is well tolerated INTERACTIONS: No interactions have been reported so far STABILITY: See expiry on the pack PRESENTATION: INTIG - D film coated tablet is available in blister pack of 30 tablets INTIG - D suspension is available in 60ml bottle INSTRUCTIONS: Keep out of reach of Children Avoid exposure to heat, light and humidity Store at 25°C or below Improper storage may deteriorate the medicine

Vitamin D promotes re-absorption of Calcium in the kidneys and enables normal mineralization of bone. It is also necessary for bone growth and bone remodeling by osteoblasts and osteoclasts INDICATIONS: - Poor bone & tooth development - Decreased growth, rickets - Increased mineral requirements in conditions like pregnancy, lactation, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, osteoarthritis, bone pain, bone fragility, stiffness in the ts, fatigue and hypocalcemia - As an adjuvant therapy in fractures with delayed callus formation
