Introduction
The UIDAI has developed a custom SFTP client which is secure, enables of unique packets and reconciliation of packets and is ed by analytical reports on the number of packets ed. Lack of on the enrolment packets ed, has been a major issue faced by Enrolment Agencies, Registrars & UIDAI, The Aadhaar SFTP Client 3.0 addresses all issues related to packet s and reconciliation.

Pre-requisites Minimum Requirements for Aadhaar SFTP Installation Hardware and Software (minimum) Specification: Network connectivity – 1MBps Operating System – Win XP (32 bit) 1.5 GHz Processor 2 GB Ram 50 MB HDD .net Framework 3.5 Microsoft Access database Engine
For Optimal performance Operating System – Win 7 Core i3 1.8 GHz Processor 4 GB Ram 50 MB HDD .net Framework 3.5 Microsoft Access database Engine
For 64 bit Operating System Please use Microsoft Access database Engine 64 bit edition.

Rules
With the new Aadhaar SFTP 3.0 client certain rules are added to ensure able ing of CIDR copy resident packets 1. It is mandatory to sync the Enrolment Client ECMP v2.1 before exporting and then trying for . The SFTP client before ing will check in the sync for the presence of the information about each packet it will . 2. The SFTP Client 3.0 will only packets created by ECMP v2.1, the new 3.0 version will not be manifest dependent and will not read it also, though it is required that the export pattern of packet exported created by the enrolment client should be left intact. 3. Before Starting to use your client, it is required that the agency is ed with the portal, therefore kindly provide the details to the tech including Name, Email and mobile number. 4. To packets it is now mandatory to the packets within 20 days of the creation date of the packet. All such packets which fail the validation of 20 days will not be ed by the EA version of the client. All such packets which failed due to the 20 days window can then only be ed from the Regional Office client within 60 days from the creation date of the packet. Failing to the packet within the given time duration will lead to the rejection of the packet by the UIDAI. 5. The OTP will be sent to the person only on both email & ed mobile and further EA’s can designate different owner for each SFTP client ed by them. 6. SFTP 3.0 will only work with sync. Delay: Enrolment Agency: 20 days Regional Office: 60 days
Important 1. Enrolment Agency s should ensure the integrity of the External HDD where the packets are stored, please run check disk utility after certain duration to ensure that packet files do not get corrupted. 2. Ensure correct details are updated in the portal

SFTP Installation Document
The new version of the Aadhaar SFTP client is released and can be ed from the link below – http://.uidai.gov.in. 1) the zip file. 2) Unzip the file. 3) Run setup .exe file to start installation. 4) Follow on screen instructions below to install the Aadhaar SFTP client.
5) After you double click the setup.exe file the installer will start. Click Next.

9) After the installation completes press “Close”. Once the installation is completed please restart the SFTP.

11) Registration window pops up please fill up the registration from and press . Enrolment Agency Code: Unique Four digit EA Code assigned by UIDAI. Registrar Code: Unique Three digit Registrar Code assigned by UIDAI. Aadhaar SFTP Client Code: Any Five digit station id ( Client Code can be the Aadhaar Enrolment Station Code also). Click on , for Aadhaar SFTP Client registration.
12) Restart the Aadhaar SFTP Client. 13) Check your Mobile and Email id for OTP .
