Introduction:

Adobe Flash software is a powerful authoring environment for creating animation and multimedia content. Design immersive interactive experiences that present consistently across desktops and multiple devices and including tablets, smartphones, and televisions.

Flash is authoring environment.

Objectives:

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

Open adobe flash professional CS6 Identify the adobe flash interface. Create new project. Import image to the library and from the library. Add layer to the time line. Publish the work.

Objective 1: Students will be able to open flash. .

Content:

Click start button. Click all programs. Choose adobe flash professional CS6 Double click on the program icon. From the main window click on action script 3.0. Now the form will appear to you, you can add different controls.

Activities: How run the adobes flash CS6?

: Student will: - Go to start and click on it. - Click on all programs then click on adobe to collapse the software. - Click on adobe flash professional CS6. - Then from the windows that will appear select action script3.0

Objective 2: Identify the adobe flash interface.

Process:    

Identify the interface of the software Name the main elements of menu bar Identify the importance of menu bar Name the main elements of toolbar.

Contents: Adobe flash has toolbars and menus that help s and designers to create and develop design. Menu bar: consists of eleven menus: File, Edit, Insert, Modify, text, command, control, Window, debug and Help. Take a few moments to look at each of the menus. May notice that some menu commands are followed by ellipses. This indicates a command that is followed by a dialog box where you can enter additional settings. Some menu commands are followed by a right pointing arrow. This indicates a submenu of related commands. Toolbar: it’s locate at right place of the software and its contain more than twenty tools such as selection tool, sub- selection tool, free transform tool, 3D rotation tool, Lasso tool, Pen tool, Text tool, Line tool, rectangle tool, Pencil tool, Bruch tool, Deco tool, bone tool, paint bucket tool, eyedropper tool, erase tool, hand tool and zoom tool. The Stage: is where the action takes place, the Timeline organizes frames and layers, and other s let you edit and control your creation. The Timeline: is located below the Stage. Like films, Flash documents measure time in frames. As the movie plays, the play head, shown as a red vertical line, advances through the frames in the Timeline.

Activities: List the elements of menu bar? : File, Edit, Insert, Modify, text, command, control, Window, debug and Help.

Objective 3: Create new project and ad some control to stage.

Process: You learn in previous activity how you can create project in action script 3. Now you will learn how to create new project and manage some controls. To create new project go to file > new >then select the type of the project or choose ready template from the category. To control the stage or workplace you can change the width, height, frame rate and background of the stage. After that, click on OK

Objective 4: Import image to the library and from the library.

Process: A) To use an imported image, simply go to: 1) File> import> import to library> then the new windows will appear and from it select the image that wanted> finally open. B) To use an imported image, simply drag it from the Library onto the Stage. 1 Choose Window > Library to open the Library if it isn't already open. 2 Select the image in the Library . 3 Drag the image onto the Stage.

Objective 5: Add layer to the timeline and rename it.

Process: A) To inset new layer: Choose Insert > Timeline > Layer. You can also click the New Layer button below the timeline. A new layer appears above the background layer. B) To rename a layer: 1) Select the existing layer in the Timeline. 2) Double-click the name of the layer to rename it. 3) Click outside the name box to apply the new name.

Contents:  A new Flash document contains only one layer, but you can add as many layers as you need. Objects in the top layers will overlap objects in the bottom layers.

 It's a good idea to separate your content on different layers and name each layer to indicate its contents so that you can easily flnd the layer you need later.

Activities: What are the steps to insert new layer and to name it (background)? Click the New Layer button below the timeline and double-click on the layer name change it to background.

Objective 6: Publish the work.

Process: Go to file >publish

Contents: When you're ready to share your project with others, publish it from Flash. For most projects, Flash will create an HTML file and a SWF file. The SWF file is your final Flash project, and the HTML file tells your Web browser how to display the SWF file.

Activities: How to publish your work?

From the program choose file >publish.
