Miracle of a mother Among those who can write and tell stories about mothers, I know that I am one o f the least experienced, if biological mothers are the issue. I was left by my o wn mother when I was young. According to her, I was four years old then, but acc ording to my lola, who took care of me, I was three. Nevertheless, I was too you ng then to understand why I should suffer from a selfish decision of my parents. So how on earth can I write a piece about a miracle of a mother when you could s ay I had almost no experience with one? The truth is, having had no biological m other around made it more miraculous for me for I had a lot of mothers in my lif e. I experienced the same love Christ felt from his mother, Mama Mary. The following stories are special and many motherless children can relate to the m. Like me, they are the children fostered by the Mother of God Herself. First miracle I lost my mother from a selfish decision of hers, but God gave me my Lola Inang, who took on the role throughout her life until she died at age 99. I learned th at I had no mother and only my Lola when I had several kid stuff quarrels with m y cousin out of jealousy for being our Lola's pet during my early years. Every n ight of my young life I looked into pages of fashion magazines, wondering what m y mother looked like. It is painful to those sad nights, crying and kis sing the pictures of women, assuming they were how my own mother appeared. In sp ite of everything, I consider it one of the best miracles that God had given me a Lola. She gave her time, love, money and most of all the virtue in life that a person must have a principle that cannot be corrupted by anybody or anything; t he virtue she lived by and ed on to me. She strove hard to make me what I am now. God will provide better replacement, and life will be better. Second miracle As I grew up, tension built up within the family because of my being a Lola's pe t. Envy arose to the highest level that I need to keep to myself all falsehood a nd injustices done to me by my other family . I needed to keep silent on the bad things done to me or else my grandmother would fight for my welfare. Bec ause of her age, I didn't want her to suffer from the negative feelings directed at me. So, instead, I learned to go the chapel in our church where a big image of Our L ady of Fatima was located. There I learned to talk to Her and voiced out my suff ering and hardship in life for not having a mother. One day, I felt the big load of pain, anger, pity and loneliness gone from my be ing. I felt so light and learned to forgive my cousins and their parents for wha t they had done to me. From that time, I've learned to understand and forgive th ose who offended me for it is also what I expected from others for the imperfect ion in my life. A true encounter with the true God can change people from worst to better, from better to good, and from good to pureness. Let us not be like hypocrites that go to church everyday but do not possess comion, forgiveness and true love for his family and the people around him. When one enters a church, one must experience God and let Him change him for the better. A relationship with God is something very personal and life-changing. I t transforms the way one thinks and behave toward others especially to those who have sinned against them and sinned against God. One must forgive and love to s how God's influence. The right to judge was not given to man, but left to God al one. That is the true miracle of having God in one's life. Third miracle The chance to help people is the third miracle. By stroke of fate and faith, my life changed in one day. I never imagined it would come to someone like me, but it did. I was 33 when my life was changed by a twist of fate. A divine apparitio n instructed me to help the sick. But I am not a doctor and not wealthy enough t o do it. But lo and behold, I was given the secret to be an instrument of healin

g. For 15 years I was an instrument of healing, giving others hope and happiness . I never asked to be paid and, in fact, I spent my own money for the necessitie s like food, electric bills and water bills for the patients' welfare. But I alw ays prayed to Mama Mary that She would give me more blessings so I can continue helping people. During those times when I was just starting with this mission, I prayed to Mama Mary for guidance and She replied in my thought that She would n ever leave me and would always be beside me to help me with this mission. Fourth miracle The fourth miracle is having a relationship with a person that has a mother's he art and that won't leave our children in spite all the trials and challenges tha t we encounter in life. Yes, life on earth is full of lies, deception and mistak es. It can ruin one's life and families like what happened to my parents. I am l ucky and I consider it a miracle to have a wonderful thing that can withstand th e cruel reality of life. Actually, the fourth miracle is simply called love a lo ve which is pure and eternal; love that never fades. Like God, if love is pure, it can withstand harsh elements and stay no matter what. Not all women have the heart of a mother, and not all women with a mother's heart can be the mother of children. So it is a miracle that my children have a wonderful being called a mo ther blessed with a mother's heart. Those who have Mama Mary in their life have an extra boost of luck and love. Old people and children alike will have a different path if not cared for by a lovi ng mother. But Mama Mary will always be here for us if we believe She is the tru e mother of mankind.
