Project 2: Client : Decisionone, USA. Role : Oracle Apps DBA (offshore ) Environment : 11.5.10.2, 9i DB Operating System : RedHat Linux RHEL-4. Duration : July 2008 to till date

Responsibilities:  

Installed 11.5.10.2 on RHEL-4 Cloning of Oracle Applications from production to development.  Patch application - Including thorough Patch analysis.

Responsibilities:  Managing the Concurrent Managers and its operations like starting, stopping the concurrent managers, re-schedule the requests, purging the concurrent requests historical data.  Solve Locking issues at Database/Apps level.  Knowledge on AD Utilities like ad, adpatch, rgpch, adctrl, adsplice, adident.  Monitoring workers through adctrl.  Use of FNDC utility.  Troubleshooting all Oracle Apps Issues like Forms, Apache, CM, listener problems  Splice/ing new products in Oracle Apps.  Opened TAR with Oracle to solve technical issues  Monitor the U, Memory, Disk space on the Database and Apps Servers.  Scheduling and Taking daily, weekly backups and Monthly backups

Taking Hot backup, Cold Backup.  Managing Redolog files, Data files, and control files.  Archivelog configuration.

EXPERTISE: (LINUX)  Installation RHEL-4,  Disk Management – partitioning tools like fdisk.  Mount, unmount of filesystems. /group management commands.
