Our

project is a PHP application. This project was taken up and developed with an intention to provide to its customers a virtual means of shopping. This project is designed primarily on the hypothesis that the cost of opening and maintaining large number of full-fledged shops in each and every city literally runs into crores of rupees. In lieu of the ever increasing rates of the property, huge costs involved in the constructions, sky rising salaries etc. it is advisable that the existing shopping malls should look for some other way of serving their customers effectively. The can visit the company’s website and order products as per their Requirement. The selected goods shall be delivered on the spot at the collection counter or the customers’ home depending upon his/her choice. The customers will not be required to carry the cash either if they wish to avail the credit card services of the portal.

This also enables them to avail the credit card facility offered by the shopping mall. Online Shopping:This module will be designed to present the shopper with an appealing interface where he will be able to browse through the various catalogues and select the items he wishes to shop. He will have to select the item and put it into the virtual shopping cart. That’s all! He will be prompted for payment that can be done through cash, cheque or card. Credit Card Processing:This module will be responsible to maintain the database of all the credit cards issued by the mall and keep track of all the transactions done through them. It will notify for expiry dates, exceeding limits or renewals etc as and when required. Delivery: This module will constantly check for the availability of all the listed items in stock and ensures their timely delivery and the corresponding updation of the databases. It will keep a vigil on the item levels and if any item falls below the emergency level, it will notify the procurement department to fulfill the deficiency. istration: This module will allow some authorized s to access the databases directly in order to make necessary changes in case of emergency. This will also allow the owner/ manager of the café to view the current status and print the reports viz. Monthly Sale Summary, Daily Reports, Complaints filed by the customers, Financial Statements etc.
