This pattern is written using American terminology and is worked in continuous rounds. The finished doll measures 25cm/9.8 inches (with hat and slippers) approximately. Choosing a different hook and yarn will change final size.

Don't forget to replace all markers as you go. Stitch count is in( ) at the end of each round. Work from the bottom of the feet to head. Stuff your doll as you go.

Do not cut your yarn. Let’s start making strands. Chain 6, crochet 5 single stitch into the chain close with a slip stitch into the next stitch, make one sc. Now first strand is finished. Repeat the procedure 10 times. Continue with long ones. Chain 8 and then crochet 7 sc into the chain close with a slip stitch into the next stitch, make one sc. Repeat it 11 times. Cut the yarn and leave long yarn to sew the hair to the head.

Cut the yarn and fasten off. Between round 10-11 crochet hatband with slst by using white color or what color you desire.

THE LEAVES Small leaf: Chain 4 then 1 slst,1sc and 4HDC in same stitch), 1sc, 1slst. Break the yarn and fasten off. Big leaf: Chain 7 then 1 slst, 2sc, 2HDC, 6 HDC in same stitch, 2HDC, 2sc, 1 slst. Break the yarn and fasten off. Sew them onto the hat with a different color of green as I show in the Picture.

THE SHORTS You crochet in Color(G) Chain 15 and close the chain to a circle with sc then crochet 3 rounds without decreasing or increasing. Cut the yarn and fasten off. Crochet other leg of shorts. After finishing second leg of shorts, chain 3 and to the first leg with sc.

Now you finished sole of the slipper. Chain 1 and turn your work. Start to crochet other side of the sole with in FLO 3 sc, chain one turn (3sc, chain one) repeat 10 times. Cut the yarn and sew your slipper band to the sole as shown in the pic.

THE SWIM RING You crochet in Color (E) Chain 12 and close the chain to a circle with sc then crochet 48 rounds without decreasing and increasing. And change the color every 6th round. If you want, you can make more or less line on the swim ring it is up to you. Second swim ring which is under this paragraph crocheted from one of my tester. As I love it so much, I want to show to you. It is amazing and the idea from @lourmf. Maybe you find another amazing idea for swim ring. Thank you Lourdes!

THE SWIMSUIT STRING Chain 17. Cut long yarn sew the string to the body wrapping it around the doll neck.

BEFORE FINISHING… You can sew the hat, slippers and shorts onto the body, so you can prevent come off them. Use blusher for your doll cheeks. Sew some seeds onto the swim suit with a piece of yarn that any proper color.
