4.2 Manufacture of steel of all grades except for rolled steel used in shipbuilding and car building is allowed, without limiting the lower limit of the mass fraction of carbon and manganese, provided that the required level of mechanical properties is maintained. In the steel grades St2kp, St3kp and St4kp, intended for the production of profiled and shaped rolled products, it is allowed to increase the mass fraction of silicon to 0.07%. (Changed edition, Rev. N 1 ). 4.3 In the case of the deoxidation of semirigid steel with aluminum, titanium or other deoxidizers that do not contain silicon, as well as several deoxidizers (ferrosilicon and aluminum, ferrosilicon and titanium, etc.), the mass fractio n of silicon in the steel is allowed to be less than 0.05%. Deoxidation with titanium, aluminum and other deoxidizers that do not contain silicon is indicated in the quality document. 4.4. The mass fraction of chromium, nickel and copper in all grades except for St0 should not exceed 0.30% of each. In the steel grade St0, the mass fraction of chromium, nickel and copper is not standardized. In steel made by scrap-process, the mass fraction of copper is allowed up to 0.40%, chromium and nickel - up to 0.35% each. In the steel grades St3kp, St3pc, St3sp, St3Gpc and St3Gsp, the mass fraction of carbon should not be more than 0.20%. 4.5. Mass fraction of sulfur in all grades except for St0 should not exceed 0.050%, phosphorus - not more than 0.040%. In steel grade St0, the mass fraction of sulfur should not be more than 0.060%, phosphorus - not more than 0.070%. 4.6. The mass fraction of nitrogen in the steel should be no more than: - smelted in electric furnaces - 0,012%; - open-hearth and converter - 0.010%.
It is allowed to increase the mass fraction of nitrogen in the steel to 0.013%, subject to a reduction in the mass fraction of phosphorus by 4.5 by at least 0.005% with each increase in the mass fraction of nitrogen by 0.001%. 4.7 The mass fraction of arsenic in all grades except for St0 should not exceed 0.080%. The mass fraction of arsenic in the steel grade St0 is not normalized. 4.8 Limit deviations in the chemical composition of finished rolled products, ingots, blanks, forgings and products of further redistribution should comply with the standards specified in Table 2.
