Step 2: Solve the edges on the second and
third layers.
Solve the edges on the second and third layers: There are 5+10 edoes on the second and third layqr:r.Ifg.lolqlion is same as one of the second layer of the 3x3 cube solution, that's algorithms URU' R' U' F' UF and U' ULUFU' F', untess soire edges can be flipped to the right p;sition with correct @lors, and they don't disturb other edges. Beaides, you'd better solve th6 e

Megaminx lnstruction: The Megaminx is a dodecahedron-shapeif;iuzle similar io the Rublkt Cube.It has a toJal of 50 movable piecei ioleaiienge: 12 cefltre pitre' 20 corner pieceli.iind3gedge pieces. Every centre has one colait and the edges have two cofo.rs and th|:$iftCr$'haie three colors. There is a centre, fiw iorners,i'id five edges on one facir

Warm tips: lt will be easier to solve the meganinx if you know how to solve the 3x3 Cube.Scan QR code into the 3x3 Cube tutorial.

When solving the edges on the third layer, in order not to disturb the already solved edges on the-third layer, you can temporarily turn it up as iilustrated and then after cohplete the;lgorithm in figure 3. turn it down.

Nofice: While twisiing one edge to the position before algorithm in figure 3 or figure 4, to return the already solved edges to avoid troubles. Orient the lower corners on the third layer: There are totally 5 pieces, Turn them to the correct positions in spite of their colors. (After 5+5 corners on lhe third layer ard 5 comers on top are in corrcct position, orient tle correct colors, However, you can flip the correct colors at any time.) ln figure 5, it's the algorithm for solying the lower corneG on the third layer_ And it's sa. me on ihe other sides. When in orientation, also to .eturn the already solved pieces before algorithm(Same as below).Orient the upper corners on the third layer: There are totally 5 pieces, Turn them to the correcl positions in spite of their colors.
Step 3: Solve the corners Fig 5: Algorithm of solving the lower corners on the third layer

9tep 6: Swap colors and positions of the corners on lhe fifth layer, Sway positions of the corners on the fifth layer: As illustrated in figure g, it shows how the three @meG twist clockwise three times. The algorithm is same as figure 6. Sway colors of corneF: First flip the @rner to the top and then orient it to the position shown in figure 10. Turn every two (one clockwise and one anti-clockwise or one anti-clockwise and one clockwise) or thr@ (three clockwise or three anti-clockwise), and lhe lower part of the puzle will be solved again. lt's the same way to swap colors of corners on the third layer
Fig 9: Swap positions of corners on the fifth layer.
Step 4: Solve the edges on the fourth layer There are 5 edge piqE m the fourth lays. And the solution is same as the algorithm shown in figue 3.
Step 5: Swap colors and posit!"ns of tl":e on the fifth layer.

Due to ttE specialty of this puzle, two comer pi@s must be twisted at ttE time. So the following two algorithms must be used al the time too. But the corner of swapping coloE mr6t be tumed to the red area and then decide to use whici algqithm a@ording to its colol
