Meşkim Ḩūl
Dingir Comic ‘In texts they seem something like tornado spirits able to go where their queen directs within the constraints of the Order. There are a few demons more powerful than them, but not many. Here we see them being created by the goddess Ereshkigal, supreme ruler of Kur The Underworld.’ http://www.templeofsumer.org/comic/20120506b.html
Give heed to mine instruction, ye ignorant, yeah, obey the words of mine onition, ye reprobates. Seven are the appalling Meşkim Ḩūl, seven destructions, sevens evils indwell them. Denizens of darkness, neither man nor woman are these dwellers in desolation. Nefarious servants are they of Namtar, the sukkal*1 of the harlot of the abyss.* 2 They rage underground, they ravage the lands, they bring turmoil to the sky. Dismantled buildings, crops devastated, desolate cities are left in their wake. Monumental the damage they wreak, gigantic the tumult of their madness.
The first, a howling wind inciting the waves, a hellish specter of bat might thou see. The second is berserk and maniacal, a blood-lusting wolf which ruptures and rends. The third, a dragon of drought, desiccating streams, withering crops, fire everywhere. The fourth, a sudden calamity, the leopard falling on its prey for a swift devastation. The fifth is a gloom, suffocating grey sky, bleak clouds, shadows paralyzing the land. The sixth, a venomous serpent, a viper hissing in wrath, writhing in front of the sun. The seventh a fever, this one is formless, a crumbling, collapse and disintegration.
Dingir Comic Namtar, death, the hand of the gods, fate, Ereshkigal's Sukkal, and a few other things. This is the grim reaper and the angel of death in the Sumerian religion. He serves as the highest servant of queen Ereshkigal and is a powerful god in his own right.

Meşkim Ḩūl lurketh at the threshold, crouching to snatch It skulketh along the paths and canals, wayfarers to catch. Deter it from thine abode by placing salt in vases, sea salt pure The cedar tree on thy land or its branches wilt make ye secure. But wherever Meşkim hath entered, tarry not, I instruct thee to flee For it is mighty, seek not death, it killeth in ways thou cannot foresee. Hasten to the temple, alert the Sanga,*3 let him assign an Işip priest*4 For only the exorcist is equipped to banish the Meşkim Ḩūl beast.
