This tells me, certain things in life we may not want to believe in but unfortunately we still have to face the fact that it is true.

This was mentioned when he was writing a letter to his parents. This quotation describes Stanley’s development at Camp Green Lake after several weeks of being there. This is an important quote because it explains how his valuable time at Camp Green Lake changes his physically and as well as emotionally. This quote tells me that at times, we may even gain more for the same thing at the same time, but we may not realize it.
