DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ASIGNATURA

Conocer un idioma permite incrementar nuestro bagaje cultural, ampliar nuevos horizontes, acceder a otras fuentes de información, obtener mejores puestos de trabajo. El curso de INGLÉS II, está destinado a asegurar el dominio del Inglés tanto escrito como oral conociendo su estructura y funcionamiento. La asignatura de Inglés II es de naturaleza teórico-práctico, ya que permite que el alumno pueda comunicarse desde un principio. Inglés II tiene como objetivo general comprender y producir mensajes orales y escritos a un nivel básico de inglés (Basic English level).

OBJETIVOS: A. OBJETIVOS GENERALES Al finalizar el semestre el alumno será capaz de: 1. Valorar la riqueza del idioma inglés como herramienta útil en su vida cotidiana y para su carrera profesional.

METODOLOGÍA El profesor hará la presentación introductoria del curso y del Sílabo propiamente dicho. El profesor promoverá el diálogo constante con los alumnos para ayudar a que fijen y profundicen mejor los conocimientos que vayan adquiriendo. En todo momento resaltará la importancia y necesidad de su participación espontánea en el curso y que no sólo deben conocer, sino profundizar los diferentes temas tratados. Se combinarán los siguientes elementos: - Desarrollo de proyectos de investigación acerca de temas relacionados al curso de ofimática para ingenieros - Investigación de vocabulario de ofimática para ingenieros. - Exposición-diálogo

V. EVALUACIÓN El reglamento vigente de la universidad exige la asistencia obligatoria a clases; el 30% de inasistencias inhabilita al alumno a continuar en el curso, colocando como promedio final: NSP. El docente deberá tomar lista en cada clase que dicta registrando asistencias en el sistema que le proporciona la Universidad.
