The EES.DFT file MUST NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE OUTSIDE OF MEIE DEPARTMENT at TAMUK. Windows Installation To install for Windows XP, VISTA or Windows 7, 1) must run the file Setup_ees.exe, Either double-click on the file or from the Windows Run Command use Browse until you get to the directory where you stored the new EES setup program a nd run Setup_ees. The installer will install EES into the directory C\EES32 or the directory you choose during the installation process. 2) copy EES.DFT file into the directory that you have selected to install the EE S program. Notes: 1) There are two versions of EES provided in the installation program. One version provides 3D plotting capability. However, this version does not work on some computers. If an operational problem develops when using EES, reinstall EES but this time, uncheck the “Install 3D plotting capability” box. Alternatively, you can try to correct the problem by updating your video driver. 2) If the clock on the computer is incorrectly to the wrong date, EES may fail. You may place these files on a server for acce ss by students and faculty in your Department. The SETUP_EES.EXE and EES.DFT files must not be made availab le to anyone outside of your Department. If you place EES on a server so that access is provided to your students and faculty, you must ensure that persons outside of your Department cannot access the server . Failure to meet this or other requirements of our end- license agreement (http://fchart.com/ees/eula .php) may result in termination of your EES license. Please take care to ensure that you and your s do not p ut the SETUP_EES.EXE or EES.DFT files on an internet site or make them available to persons outside of y our Department, as this may also cause a termination in your license. Special Instructions for Expired Versions

If EES displays the expiration notice, you may be able to recover use of the pro gram as follows: First, and install the 2015-16 version into your existing EES directory , as explained above. Then replace the EES.DFT file with one that has not displayed the "expired" mess age. You may be able to find one on a computer that has not been used to run EES afte r August 31. If you cannot find a valid copy of the EES.DFT file, it will be necessary to pur chase a new EES.DFT file ($100) from our website on page http://fchart.com/ees/order.
