Joseph John Campbell (n. 26 martie 1904 – d. 30 octombrie 1987) a fost un cercetător al miturilor și religiilor, scriitor și orator american, cel mai bine cunoscut pentru lucrările sale în domeniile mitologiei comparate și ale religiei comparate. Opera sa este vastă, acoperind multe domenii ale experienței umane.
