IZOGIPS This product can be applied as one or double layers on brick, cement block, pumice block, aerated concrete and gross concrete. Very smooth or absorbent surfaces may require prior treatment. It is used to obtain an even surface before the application of wall finishing such as paint or wall paper. For very smooth finishing SATEN should be applied as the finishing layer. PREPARATION AND APPLICATION: -

Fill a clean empty container with sufficient amount of water and sprinkle the product carefully on the water (Water/Plaster ratio: 10 Kg of IZOGIPS in ca.6 liter of water). Wait 2-3 minutes for the floating gypsum to sink by soaking. Mix water and gypsum with a mechanical mixer at a low speed until a proper mixture is obtained. If necessary, alignment laths and corner plaster profiles should be placed on the surface, under the plaster in order to level and align the surface. Before final layer applications such as paint and wall paper, apply Saten for a smoother finish.

IMPORTANT: -

On the gross concrete surface, using Knauf Betokontakt adherence (surface fixation) as primer Lining is recommended. Usage of mesh application is recommended where different substructures meet. If necessary, net can be applied to the whole surface together with plaster.

Shelf life: 6 months from the date of production. It is recommended to use within 7 days after opening the bag.
