Subject: Declaration of results and selection for ission to two years MBA Programme for the Session 2014-2016 1. Merit lists of selected and waitlisted candidates under General/SC/ST/OBC(NC) categories prepared on the basis of performance in CAT, Group Discussion and Interview for ission to Master of Business istration (MBA) programme for the session 2014-2016 are attached. 2. The selected and waitlisted candidates are advised to report for ission provisionally as per the following schedule at Penman Auditorium, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, along with a fee of Rs 94,200 only (for General/OBC Category) and Rs 34,200 only (for SC/ST Category) in the form of payee demand draft in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad payable at State Bank of India, ISM Campus Branch, Dhanbad (Code No. 1641). The fees includes a refundable caution money of Rs.5,000.00 (Rupees five thousands only). (i) Selected candidates under merit list: On 6th June, 2014 (Friday) at 9.00 A.M. (ii) Waitlisted candidates : On 6th June 2014 (Friday) at 2.30 P.M. The selected/waitlisted candidates are requested to treat this as offer letter to them as no separate offer letters will be issued. 3. The ission will be subject to fulfilling of eligibility criteria, submission of necessary documents in original and medical examination by the Medical Officer of ISM. The candidates have to produce the following documents at the time ission: a) Latest PA view X-ray of chest with proper identification mark b) Report of HB, TC, DC, ESR of blood and Blood Group. c) All relevant certificates (to be deposited in original at the time of ission to the programme) related to the academic performance as stated in the application. d) Original CAT Score card. e) Migration certificate issued by the University, in original. f) One set of attested photocopies of all certificates g) Four copies each of port and stamp size photographs (same copy as was affixed on the application form) Page 1 of 7

h) Caste certificate from appropriate issuing authority for SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates; certificate from the respective Record Office/Army Headquarters (Adjutant General’s Brand) for Defense Personnel (DP) candidates in original. i) The OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates will be required to submit OBC (Non Creamy Layer) certificate as per prescribed format as applicable for ission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs) under the Government of India (Appendix -5 attached) and should be issued by the officer not below the rank of District Magistrate/ Deputy Commissioner/ Competent Authority as indicated in the format attached. j) If the result of the qualifying exam. is not yet published, a certificate from the Head of the Institution/College last attended mentioning that the candidate appeared in the qualifying examination and the expected date by which the result is likely to be published. However, the certificate of ing the qualifying examination must be submitted on or before ….. September, 2014 positively failing which ission to the programme is liable to be cancelled with no refund of fee etc. A declaration to this effect duly signed by the candidate should be submitted at the time of ission. 4. The offer is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a duly constituted Medical Board of ISM, Dhanbad. A candidate’s ission is liable to be cancelled at a later date if anything adverse is found against him/her which could have prevented him/her from being itted to ISM or having provided false information or having committed gross misconduct/ indiscipline in College/ University. 5. Wherever OBC seats are vacant or remain vacant after the ission of MERIT LIST candidates (where there are no OBC candidates in WAIT LIST) the OPEN category WAIT LISTED candidate will be considered as per rank. 6. No TA/DA will be paid for ing the programme. 7. The candidates have to make their own arrangement for stay at Dhanbad during the ission process. 8. The classes will commence from 21st July 2014 in the Department of Management Studies, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. The hostel accommodation will be provided to the students subject to availability. For allotment of hostel accommodation, students may visit ISM website www.ismdhanbad.ac.in during June-July 2014.
