. Orbital Providence Scholarly Exposition on Naadi Astrology

Preface There are a number of excellent books written by great scholars and modern authors. I am neither competent to write anything parallel nor to attempt any thing nearer to one aspect of those great works. Forget about writing, it is even beyond my capacity to understand those works fully. To the best of my knowledge and ability I could only grasp a tiny particle out of a drop from that ocean. This being my status in astrology, why and how I dared to write books on astrology is in fact a million dollar question to me. To be honest, for a certain period in my past I was totally against occu~ and spiritual subjects. Not exactly an atheist but more a pragmatist. This pragmatism is the route cause for getting me into this occult subject. Wanting proof or shall I say reasoning to certain events in my life, like any other common man cursed with the so called ill luck I too ran to the self styled pundits of astrology and had to become a scapegoat. I was vehemently in search of a right Guru/pundit to guide

me. During that period I met a person in Bombay in late 70s. Unlike other occultists this man looked normal and never ever pretended like an expert in astrology. He just asked me to show my hand and then took a "panchanga of Tamil calendar" and looking at the day's chart, started blasting past events and present situations of my life. While presenting my future he repeatedly pointed out that I would write books on Astrology. This sounded absurd to my mind at that time. I laughed and he also returned a smile with all that conviction and confidence in what he predicted. Some of his future predictions precisely were true and I was fascinated to know about this subject. The next best thing I did to grab the astrological books with TITLES - attractive and CXNTENTS with contradicting thrash. Sensibly, I withdrew studying them and relied more on guidance from the noble and knowledgeable elders in getting worthy texts. Fortunately, due to my multilingual capabilities I could lay my hands on books in various languages which have unfailingly helped me in grasping the subject. Ole of the disciples of the great pundit of Bombay had given me clue about the Naadi system which the pundit used to follow. This fact drove me to hunt for books on Naadi and a few noble persons helped me in my endeavor to find good books by Sri. R.G. Rao. While studying those books of Guruji I made notes. Except for one or two individuals, most of the astrological community were restraint and reluctant to discuss on this Naadi subject as they found it to be against "Sastra" or "Sastra - virudha". Some expressed their inability to understand the subtle secrets behind this method. Hence, the first task before me was to satisfy and convince this group who were unable to understand the concept of Naadi astrology. Therefore I published my notes as "Prediction Secrets in Naadi Astrology''. It definitely took some time to spread but it worked very well. Slowly people took interest in this subject and I feel I am successful to some extent. I started teaching regularly at

different institutions and for the last three years the attendance is increasing year by year. This awareness has grown across the country and demand for the books on Naadi astrology is on the rise. "Celestial Matrix" was the 2nd book written by me which deals with planetary combination for certain life orientations. This book also has an introduction to Hora. The importance of Hora lord was established with examples to differentiate births during the same time. The 3rd book on Naadi Astrology was "Revelation from Naadi Jyotisha". In this book, for the first time, the astronomical facts were introduced convincingly relating them to astrology. The planetary orbits forming Zodiac, divisions of Sun trine and Moon trine, the concept of Moolatrikona and many more were discussed in relation to metaphysics. This was absolutely an experimental work. The fact that the results from Naadi and classical approach remain same was proved with examples discussing in both the methods. This was the first step towards bridging gap between both the systems for confident delineations and it was proved beyond doubt that the Naadi system is well with in the "Sastra". In fact in some of the classical texts there is an independent chapter which deals with the results from the combination of planets. (Refer works of Varaha Mihira).

About the Book Each person is born with specific life orientation, predestined by cosmic plan which is evident in the orbital providence. This aspect is being dealt in this book. The relationship of Zodiac signs to the orbits has already been established in my earlier book. Zodiac represents the orbits of planets. Time and again, due to movements of planets these zodiac signs acquire significations both at macro and micro levels in accordance with the progress of the universe. In other words, the progress of the universe is caused by the movements of planets in the orbits forming zodiac signs. This work is an attempt to decode the significations of zodiac signs. An effort is made in this work to link the Hora sequence to signs. This concept is drawn from Ashtakavarga of classical approach. In order to incorporate Rahu and Ketu in Rasi division some modifications are inevitable. Again taking the astronomical base the Rahu and Ketu were introduced to divide a sign in accordance with orbital sequence. This concept I have applied to some of the horoscopes. I have also included some important new predictive techniques which have not been disclosed in any of the books so far. These were put to test and were found to be extensively applicable. I have introduced the concept of Parella Bhoota under "Diseases" chapter. Work is in progress to bring out separate volume on Medical Naadi Astrology discussing in detail with remedies. From a fundamental matter relating to Astrology an idea shapes into a technique and when/if it is convincingly applicable, the same is published for the benefit of readers. This, naturally, not only restricts number of new books but also takes time to publish.

In chapter ten an innovative attempt is made to introduce psychology into astrology. In the recent years study of the brain waves have made remarkable progress in the field of psychology. There are several modules of programming the sub-conscious mind. Ole such popular module is "past life regression" which has attracted many people across the world. This is a universal acceptance of Eastem philosophy of previous birth and karma theory. This is the right time to incorporate the human related science development in to astrology and re-structure the principles not deviating from the original standards. In this chapter modified principles of Naadi astrology are given for a structured approach to understand conscious, super-conscious and sub-conscious levels of brain. Without going through any psychological test or programme, we can assess functional levels of the brain in different matters of life. Chapter 1 Orbital Direction In my previous book "Revelationfrom Naadi Jyotishan I had explained about the concept of Lagna, emergence of microcosm from the macrocosm and the karma theory behind it. Apart from it I have also explained about the Sun trines and Moon trines. I have not given the astronomical relationship for the grouping of Sun trine and Moon trine in my previous book. Before going into the details of path of destiny I would like to discuss on the astronomical relationship between Sun trine and Moon trine.

By looking at the figure we can understand that the earth is going round the Sun while spinning from west to east. Thus there is an influence of Sun, the Atma, on the earth which is inter-related to Lagna and the emergence of microcosm as explained in my previous book. Therefore, the

Wf!St and East directions represent the Karma (the Saturn) and the Rinanubandha (Atma sambandha, the Sun). The Sun sign Leo and the trines thereof, Sagittarius and Aries, represent the Sun trine of Rinanubandha. While the opposite sign of Leo being Aquarius, represented by Saturn, indicates the Karma and the trines of Aquarius, Gemini and Libra, indicate the Buddhi and Bhoga signs attached to Karma. Hence, the six signs represent the effects of past life. Earth rotates on its own axis forming north and south poles. This spinning effect causes the self generated energies at the two ends. While this spinning is going on, there are other two sensitive points generated at the intersection of equator and the path of Moon revolving around the earth. These points fall in the direction of northern and southern poles. These two points create self generated pulling effects and these are called Northern Node and Southern Node, which are named in Indian Astrology as Rahu and Ketu. Being the direction of self generating energies, the North and South directions represent the present self efforts. The signs in Northern directions, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces represent the Moon trines, signifying the effects of mind. The opposite sign of Cancer being Capricorn, represented by Saturn (the karma), indicates the self efforts and the trines of Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo represent the Bhoga and Buddhi out of present Karma. Therefore, the signs falling in Eastern and Western directions and the planets in these signs represents "Fate" and the signs falling in Northern and Southern directions and the planets posited in them represents "free will". The figure shown ahead is self explanatory.

We are concerned with the present life and the influence of past to understand the cosmic plan for a particular karma orientation of a Jeeva on the earth. Nevertheless, we should also consider the evolutional influence of the world on the Jeeva. The world is evolving day by day with modern methods demanding a different style of living. Chronologically with a specific time interval we have to record the scientific development and its influence on the human society. Astrologically we have to establish the orbital providence with ttie help of periodic charts. For this purpose we need to do some exercise and experiment with Naadi system to understand the orbital providence based on the planetary

configuration at the beginnin~ of each century. For this purpose let us begin with 14 century considering 151 of January as beginning of every century. Let us take the chart of beginning of every Century at sunrise and assess the development for that century. Based on this universal influence, the human births will also be ordained with appropriate orbital providence. In Hindu calendar the beginning of the year differs from culture of a particular religion and region. Therefore to study the overall influence of the human and global development it is essential to adhere to a common principle followed. Moreover, the world wide psychological and social development has direct bearing on the Indian development and hence, we have taken the English Calendar year and thereby taken the 151 of January as beginning of every century. We shall discuss in detail the worldly progress in each century chart and understand how these celestial matrixes have bearing on orientation of human lives born to play their role in each century. We also take into consideration the Hora lord of each century who plays a vital role in delineations. Before getting into the universal destiny as a customary requirement, we need to study certain fundamentals of Naadi Astrology. We restrict the information to the essentials of this work. We shall discuss the sign significations and planetary significations in the subsequent chapters. The most essential part of Naadi astrology is the principle on which the delineations are made. We give below the following principles. 1.

A planet will get the influence of the sign in which it is posited and views the planets placed in signs 5, 9, 2, 12 and ih from it. Rahu and Ketu will have influence on the 2nd sign to them.

Similarly the planets posited in the above positions will on their respective significations to the planet under consideration.

3.

The sign and planet that is friendly to the selected planet will give desirable effects.

4.

The sign and the planet that is inimical to the selected planet will give undesirable effects.

5.

Transit of major planet on any of the planet in a group will prompt fructification of results.

6.

A transiting planet in a sign of another planet or in an exalted place of another planet will activate that planet posited anywhere in the zodiac.

7.

If a natal planet in a sign having a sign either ahead or behind an exalted or own sign belonging to either the natal or transiting planet, the transiting planet will give the results of the natal planet either in the exalted or own sign cited above, instead of the sign where the natal planet is posited.

8.

In timing of events hypothetical transit works more perfectly than the actual transit.

9.

A transiting planet will not yield results if encountered by an inimical planet.

There are a number of scholarly enquiries from different quarters on the timing of an event, which was explained in the earlier book Revelation from Naadi Jyotisha. In this context, I would like to explain few points which are essential in the study of astrology in general and Naadi astrology in particular. Conventional astrology has a system of Dasha for timing the event. There are five levels of Dasha. Nevertheless, none of the practicing astrologer goes beyond 2nd level that is Bhukti or at the most 3rd level called Antra. Beyond that the sub levels called Sookshma and Prana are not attempted

fearing correctness of accurate birth time. Unless the delineation is from an expert, rarely the results match with Bhukti and Antra period lords. But there are many systems evolved by modern astrologers which do not have sanction from the classical texts, which are half baked with high-end computational or technical jargon which claims to pin down hourly event. However, let us not discard the claim as there are divine souls who could render the events minute by minute. We are deliberately using the word "divine" here because, the whole subject matter of astrology is occult based. In our opinion, unless the higher intelligence bestows upon, no astrologer can decode fate of the person. In some of the Naadi texts like Rishi Vakhya, Nandi Naadi and Bhrighu the events are given age wise. In some cases they have given the Hindu year and month for some incidents like death etc. Our works are based on these classical texts and hence we recommend our readers to restrict timing of event on yearly basis. The timing of events is based on transit of planets. The most important and convincing logic is to move the Jeevakaraka planet Jupiter in each sign which takes approximately 1 year for transit from one sign to the other and then delineate the results. Despite several rules, hypothetical rotation of Jupiter in each sign with relative effect on planets linked to it in each sign (12 year effect of linked planet), according to Naadi principles gives more accurate results than the actual transit position of Jupiter computed by ephemerides or computers. This phenomenon directly prompts to the fact that there is a planetary influence on the mind of astrologer by which the matters are revealed to him. By looking at transits by computation, the mind is set on computation and not linked to the planet. In hypothetical movement the thought process is linked to Jupiter, the zodiac sign and to other planets who are the source to reveal the coded information. For decoding the information, the

preparation by an astrologer is to expertise the signification of planets and signs. However in order to maintain this mental link I have given many subtle rules which are explained in my earlier book Revelation from Naadi Astrology. I have repeatedly claimed that this subject is purely metaphysical in nature and hence no amount of technicality or human smartness can frame them into structured formats using divisional mathematics. In the subsequent paragraphs we will give some essentials of Naadi keeping in view the requirement of this work. Though the most important in this work is the category relating to Knowledge, profession and Material experience, we have given other significations which are useful in certain peculiar delineations. There is always link between the knowledge and the character of the person, the background of the person and the circumstances under which the person puts his knowledge to application. Therefore, the karakatwa of planets have to be studied considering all the aspects to arrive at the right orientation of the Jeevakaraka while performing the karma. Modifications due to placement in a division of a sign

In this section we would like to introduce another fundamental rule which has been experimented in the dass and found to be working in analysing the qualitative modification of a planet being in a particular division in a sign. In traditional astrology there is a chapter specially to assess the effect of a planet in transit which contributes certain strength to a particular sign. This is known as Ashtakavarga. That means 8 divisions of a sign. The order in which it is done for seven planets exactly matches with Hora sequence. The Hora is the planetary hour which commences at Sunrise with the week day lord and at the rate of one hour seven planets are allotted which repeats ti II the next day Sunrise which matches with the next week day commencing with day lord as first Hora. Thus Sunday first Hora at Sunrise will be Sun Hora and in sequence next is Ven, Mer, Moo, Sat, Jup, Mar. This will repeat 3 times completing 21 hours and other 3 Hora Sun, Ven, Mer makes it 24 hours and the next Sunrise Monday begins with Moo Hora. In the above Rasi Chart Aries has two planets Mars the owner and the Sun. Rest of it has the house owners written in each sign. Take any weekday lord and from there at sun rise the first Hora begins and Hora changes every one hour (each sign 1 hour) and after Cancer the same moves to Aquarius. If today is Sunday start from Sun and the next hour is of Venus, followed by Mercury, Moon, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. This is Hora sequence and in the same order the Ashtakavarga is computed for seven divisions in a sign and for the eighth division the Lagna is included. The logic of division as per Hora sequence is perfectly right. But the logic behind including Lagna as the last portion and maintaining same sequence for division for each Rasi despite the different lords ruling the Rasi is somewhat unconvincing to adopt the division for the purpose of Naadi Astrology. to divide the sign into 9 divisions, which is permissible traditionally as being done in the case of Navamsha in traditional texts. By this method each sign is divided into 9 divisions of 3 degrees 20 minutes each and the divisions are allotted commencing from the sign lord himself and then follow the sequence of Hora. Moon being the originator of Rahu and Ketu, we place them immediately after Moon. These divisions are termed as Graha Rasi Kala. Jupiter or Venus or Saturn i.e. Jeevakaraka or Karma karaka falling in a particular division will have the influence of the lord of that Graha Rasi Kala division and the planets associated with that Graha Rasi Kala. This principle can be extended to other Jeevakaraka and also to other matters pertaining to life. Especially this aspect can be observed to be more effective in transit results. Graha Rasi Kala chart given in page 20. We have verified application of Graha Rasi Kala in class rooms and after testing number of horoscopes we have included this rule in this book. Saturn is linked to Sun, Dhanwantari (a medical planet), who is in the division of Moon again indicating blood and next to Sun, Mars, who is in Saturn division indicating malfunction of Blood cells. Saturn by retro from Ketu division links to Mercury in Virgo in the division of Rahu indicating spoiled skin and Jupiter the healer in the same sign in the division of Mars indicating healing of blood cells. Though in Naadi the link of Saturn, Ketu, Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and Moon indicate the nature of karma, by taking divisions into the exact karma can be pin pointed. This is an example and we will try them in some of the horoscopes in the comming chapters.

Chapter 3 World Scenario & Modifying Significations There has been a constant assault on chronological computation of Indian history due to vested religious interests of dogmatic western invaders prioritising their civilization period, which rendered lasting impression that the inhabitants of Bharatha Varsha were in primitive stage and the so called Vedic culture and language is a hyperbole. Further every effort was made at different levels to establish that the Indian astronomical and astrological knowledge was imported from Egypt and Greek culture. Fortunately, the recent scholars from India have done wonderful research and these fallacies were reversed with their intellectual probing of Indian history. The progress and the scientific development during the centuries are nothing but the re-discoveries of the past glorious knowledge of our ancestors. Due to destructive motives of the invaders, valuable information was either smuggled or destroyed. Thanks to the traditional system of ing on information by family or gurukul heritage, by which, we still have sufficient information which can be used to re-glorify the greatness of our Bharatha Varsha. Much before the western world was able to open their eyes, we had definitions of planets, galaxies and stars. For example the sloka of Mangala Graha reads: "Dharanigharbha sambhootam Vidhyuth Kanthi samaprabham" which clearly says that Mars has emerged from the earth and it has the electrical brightness. (Not the true translation). But the word electricity in this sloka indicates that the Vidhyuth

(Electricity) was a known factor much before Mangala Graha. Therefore, the significations of planets given by the ancient scholars are applicable at all periods. What we are now doing is only to match the existing signification of planet to the rediscovered object. However, whenever there is a discovery in the modem science, we have to search for signification of planet from the ancient scripts and apply them at appropriate time. In order to follow this method, we have to know the developments over a period and apply the right significations. In the first chapter we have mentioned about the century-wise analysis to know the background under which the karma being influenced. In this chapter we make a detailed study of each horoscope of the beginning of century and find out the influence of celestial matrix - that would influence the human karma based on the development and progress that was destined during that century. There is a close link between the mundane progress and the individual backgrounds. This period has seen some changes in the field of Naval ships. This is due to the fact that the debilitated Moon is proceeding towards Saturn, Sun and Mercury. There is an exchange of Jupiter and Mercury which makes Moon to meet Jupiter and Saturn. Next, Ketu and Mercury indicate printing and Saturn indicates work and Sun indicates brightness. Therefore, the delineations of a personal horoscope have to be judged keeping in view the effect and impact of the mundane influence. We must understand the environment under which a person is born, his family background and also the influence of the society on him which shall have the bearing on his self efforts before we proceed with the analysis of horoscopes. Briefly we have given the overall global changes during these centuries. There had been great changes in religious and cultural aspects too. There were changes in culture, rituals, family traditions and the psychological approach. All these factors are to be considered. Without upgrading these influences and sticking only to the rules of astrology does not give a proper delineation power. In Andhra, the Brahmins are grouped as Vaidikas and Niyogis. In Karnataka, Madhvas and Smartas, in Tamilnadu Iyers and lyengars, in Kerala Namboodiris, Pottis and Puspakas are Brahmins. In Maharashtra there are five categories of Brahmins and in Gujarat there are eight categories of Brahmins. There are many other caste in Andhra Pradesh such as Reddy, Khamma, Velama Chaudhry and many more. Similarly in Kamataka there are lingayaths, Goudas etc., In Tamilnadu Chettair, Nadar etc., In Kerala there are Nairs and Menons. In almost all Indian states we have different caste and communities, each having and following certain set of their own principles. Centuries back, we have witnessed that a Vaishnava Brahmin would neither have nor it a Shaiva Brahmin in marriage alliance. Besides, among the same

community or caste, if they are bam in the same linage of Rishis they would reject as "Sagotra" (same Rishi tradition) which is a traditional rule incorporated in astrological match making. Even to this date scrne of them follow the rituals strictly but majority have changed, the culture has changed or deviated from the traditions. During that period a love marriage was a remote and rare phenomenon. There were instances where the boy met the girl only after the marriage. But things have changed slowly, you find number of love marriages. The caste differences have reduced. Even the families have adapted to modern cultures. Lot of importance is being given to the economical well being of the married couple rather than to the traditional cultural values. The present scenario is totally different. Therefore, the astrological application also needs changes in marriage match making. Educational systems have changed, working environment has changed. For the present generation the mornings have changed to the times of dinner, sleeping or bed time and the active life begins at night. This socio economic time factor has given no scope to maintain the timing of traditional ritualistic life. The relaxation is limited to weekends only instead of every day or on daily basis. The family gathering has shifted from home to pubs, clubs and resorts leaving no time to maintain the cultural heritage. We need to amend the cultural prescription to suit the present generation. Time factor needs consideration and modern thought process has to be incorporated to maintain the cultural values. Similarly the astrological remedial measures have to be modified to suit the time factor of the present generation.

There is a need to reconstruct the philosophical approach in order to maintain our heritage. We need to incorporate the godly - almighty factor in the modem concept. These changes are due to celestial matrix and it is the cosmic plan to put the human race to test. This is the time to stand up and gear up to re evaluate our cultural heritage and find the modern ways and means to update ourselves and match with the speed of present generation and them with appropriate ideology. This responsibility lies with the Astrologers, occultists, priests and preachers. If we goad the present generation with the hectic ritualistic restrictions, they develop aversion to the basic cultural values and they may resort to destructive habitual life. We had to discuss all these, in order to precaution the astrologers to study the horoscopes, keeping in view the conditions that are influencing the present generation and then upgrade themselves with the modern methods to prescribe proper applicable solutions. Every change in mundane matter will have direct bearing on the individuals. This is the point which we would like to stress upon. The significations of planets signs and houses etc., are to be reconstructed duly keeping in view - the changing world. There is a need to work on this and arrive at significations to suit the present generation. We should not only work on modifying significations but find a fo1111ula which can be used to fit in for any such future development. Note: We have not used Lahari Ayanamsha for the horoscopes.

Chapter- 4 Changes in Zodiac Elements For the purpose of this work, we have modified certain signications of zodiac signs with in its permissible limits of classical texts. The concept we have used here is based on the traditional texts. We have modified the words to suit our requirement in Naadi astrology. There are many significations given in traditional books. Apart from this in Prashna-Marga a treatise on Horary Astrology from Kerala has also assigned numbers to each Rashi which can be used in many ways which can be used in determining quantitative delineation of various aspects. The word "Srishti" means, in general, creation - giving birth, produce and manufacture - it even means this world. "Sthiti" means stay, position, status and Proprietary. "Laya" means rhythm, melt, dissolving or make things in order. Dhatu, in general, is known as element or metal. At the deeper sense, it is the origin of creation or something that has caused the beginning. Moola is root. In other words it indicates the basic resource. Jeeva is living matter, the essence which is being felt - being alive. There is little deviation with regard to assignment of Tatwa to signs. We have considered the tatwa based on the orbits. In our earlier book, "Revelation from Naadi Jyotisha", we have clearly explained about the relationship of zodiac with the planetary orbits. Saturn is the last planet with its orbits forming the two signs of Aquarius and Capricorn. The

Saturn is of Vayu tatwa and therefore these two signs are given Vayu tatwa. Next the orbit of Jupiter making two zodiac signs Pisces and Sagittarius. Jupiter is Akasha tatwa and hence both these signs are Akasha tatwa. The Mars orbit makes Aries and Scorpio in the zodiac and therefore, the Agni tatwa goes to them. Orbit of Venus makes two signs Taurus and Libra, so Venus is given Jala Tatwa hence both the signs represent Jala tatwa. Orbit of Mercury represents Gemini and Virgo which is attributed the Prithvi tatwa of Mercury. Moon is Jala Tatwa so their orbital sign of Zodiac Cancer is Jala tatwa. The orbit of earth which is considered as Sun path is taken as Leo sign and Agni tatwa of Sun is attributed to Leo. This we show in a figure of south Indian zodiac, where the zodiac belt is superimposed.

The twelve divisions of the zodiac though inter-linked to planetary orbits, their individual identification is based on group of stars located far away from the orbits sub-merging the distance between the orbits. Therefore, in astrology, the panoramic view of zodiac signs are sequentially considered for any given reference point. According to this theory, the signs of Aries and Scorpio will get Agni tatwa. The signs of Taurus and Ubra get Jala tatwa. Signs- Gemini and Virgo will get Prithvi tatwa. The sign Cancer will get Jala tatwa. The sign Leo will get Agni tatwa. The Signs of Pisces and Sagittarius will get Akasha tatwa. The signs of Saturn, Capricorn and Aquarius will get Vayu tatwa. We will establish a metaphysical to this tatwa theory. We shall begin with Saturn the planet of karma as propounded in Naadi system. Vayu tatwa is assigned to Saturn and his two signs. It is a circulatory process which moves the essentials to all parts of the body and even at certain stage wi II help in communicating or transporting thought process at different levels. It can also be positive or negative. It govems growth of the body, speech, effort, zeal and will which can either positively or negatively disposed. The regulatory process will prompt towards better acts in life. It is a balancing force which acts and s Prana or life force with an effect of balancing all the experiences either physical or emotional.

Apana, Vyana and Udana needs total control because they are tend to cause negative effects resulting in not only hea~h problems but also effect the free will to do right karma during this birth. Prana is the subtle process of karma. Controlling Apana, Vyana & Udana and regulating it through Sa mana, the karma is balanced. Therefore, Pranayama is the tool granted by the great Rishis through which we can regulate the karma effects of past, present and future. This art of Pranayama is major process in Sandhya Vandana- a process which will be initiated at the very young age of 8 years in the Brahmin community. Baring the ritualistic activities involved in Sandhya Vandana the Pranayama prescribed in this process is again from the yoga sutra and therefore, except for the ritualistic proprietary the Pranayama is open to all human beings irrespective of caste, creed and gender. The main ingredient of Sandhya Vandana is Pranayama and Gayatri Japa. We are not discussing here about this process but we are concemed with the Vayu tatwa

allotted to Saturn. Vayu is Air and by breathing all living matter on this earth relates to Saturn i.e. Vayu tatwa. We are breathing everyday but we are not conscious about the breathing process. We need to regulate the breathing process and save the number of breath and also maintain deep breath process to maintain health. The air we breathe is also called Prana. Regulating this Prana Shakti is Pranayama. The idea behind this is to train the mind and body and control the Prana and lead a healthy and powerful life by guiding others to salvation. However, the Pranayama and the reciting of mantra is the main process. After understanding the main principles behind regulating the breath every person can do this process and it does not call for any expert guidance. The caution is to do every step of the process with ease and never get strained. The time factor will automatically improve by regular practice and never get your self compared with other seniors. Naadi shodhana:- Will help in identifying the points of toxin deposits. Bhaya Kumbhaka:-Marksthese points and direct them in a sequence. Bastrika:- Will expel these toxins from the body. Antar Kumbhaka:- Will fill the Prana Shakti in the areas where toxins were removed and circulate it throughout the body. Yoga Nidra:- Will take up the corrective steps and balances the Prana Shakti in the entire body including brain.

These are the five essentials of Pranayama to control the Prana, Apana, Vyana, Udana and Samana. Before commencing this breathing process we need to warm up the body and relax the junctions in the body. Fa"

To regulate: Apana Vayu- Pavana Muktasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana are prescribed Vyana, = Pasana, Vajrasana Udana = Sarvangasana, Halasana, Dhanur asana This is about Vayu tatwa of Saturn representing Karma in Naadi Astrology. By adopting this process we will be clearing our prarabdha karma thereby preparing for righteous Agami karma. The Saturn in the horoscope will give details about the capacity to do yoga and level of Sadhana. For the above yoga Sadhana and to clear Karma, the other elements that are to be controlled are Agni, Prithvi and Jala, who are destructive elements for Sadhana if not regulated. If controlled and balanced, the Sadhana will get the path of Akasha tatwa which is a path of Jeeva where the cleared karma will release the Jeeva from the cycles of birth and death. Agni tatwa is divided into Tejagni, Tapagni, Krodhagni and Kamagni Tejagni and Tapagni are represented by Sun. Krodhagni and Kamagni are represented by Mars. Tejagni and Tapagni are both internal and external. Krodhagni and Kamagni are internal. The later pair is dangerous to Sadhana. This can be studied with the disposition of Sun and Mars in the horoscope. Prithvi tatwa is divided into three that is holding or to

contain, absorbing and to undergo. These are represented by Mercury the containing or holding is of knowledge. Absorbing is learning. Undergo is to experience.

Next is Jala tatwa is flow of emotion, reaction, love, change or motion. This is represented by Moon. Therefore, regulating heat, absorbing knowledge and emotion are essential to Sadhana. These can be studied in the horoscope. The Akasha tatwa is represented by Jeeva karaka Guru and therefore, his path to merge in the Akasha should be made clear by practicing Yoga Sadhana. Similar to magnetic theory, a Graha (planet) transfers its qualities to the orbits during its movement in the orbit. Therefore, it is logical to assign the tatwa of planets to their orbits. Planets holding lordships of two signs may have variance in the quality of tatwa transferred to orbit division of two signs. Having established, both astronomically and metaphysically, the tatwa nature and its application to zodiac, we have modified suitably the tatwa attribution to zodiac signs for the purpose of Naadi as shown in the next chapter. We use this theory only in Naadi and it is not our contention of change what is said in classical texts.

The planetary orbits in their sequence maintain the balance of entire universe in general and our earth in particular. These positions are their permanent orbital position by which the creation is under harmony. Naturally when these bodies transit in these position it becomes harmonious positions therefore negative significations need not be attributed in combination. Division of zodiac

We have already given the zodiac division in accordance with hora sequence including Rahu and Ketu which makes it equivalent to Navamsha division. The hora divisions of signs are satisfactorily indicating some of the significations either through karma or through Jeeva. However, the significations we are attributing to these hora divisions are planetary significations which are dynamic in nature. In fact we have to derive the static space significations to these hora divisions. We are experimenting on it and we shall provide the information possibly in our next project. However we furnish some of the steps which are adopted in deriving the space

significations. Scholars are requested to research on the following procedure and enlighten us with novel ideas. We have derived the Graha rasi kala based on the sequence of hora and appropriately included Rahu and Ketu basing on astronomical order of orbits. This division automatically fits into another classically established space division i.e. Navamsha. In the classical texts though there are results of planets posited in particular Navamsha, no independent qualities are attributed to each division in a sign. Nevertheless the amshas are named after either Rasi or the lord Of the Rasi. In Aries the first division belongs to Aries itself and the lord of this amsha happens to be Mars. The 2nd division belongs to Taurus and the lord is Venus. The sign qualities and the significations of lords are only available information for this space division. We strongly feel that there must be some clue to get at the right space division for Navamsha as in the case of Drekkana another classical division of sign where in each sign is divided into 3 space factors. In classical text we find unique space significations and body part descriptions for each Drekkana. Ironically three Navamsha divisions make one Drekkana division as shown below. Unique space signficaitons and body parts are attributed to each Drekkana and it is logical to think that there must be subtle details available for Navamsha. This is the point on which we are working. There are 150 divisoins of Naadi where in each division has some coded name. These coded name must have some meaning. In some of the texts effecitve results of these divisions are explained but the key factors behind the meaning of these divisions are absent. We are stressing on the point of space division because all the karma deails are in the space. Our graeat Rishis were masters of astronomy and application of its technicalities to karma asepct. They were empowered with extrodinary perceptive powers and nonetheless we are in the age of science and development where logical thinking has no limits. But within the sanctioned boundries we must reach for the secrets and use them for human welfare. We have given only hints about the significations of Drekkana. Lot more is to be researched, verified. Information about the body parts which is denoted by Drekkana used in identification of disease's is a seperate subject and shall be dealt in our next project on Medical astrology. The above information is subject to practical application and not the ultimate significations. We are providing this information for the readers for their further application and research.

Chapter 7 Orbital Providence We have seen in the earlier chapters how the changes have taken up in accordance with the planetary configuration in each century. Similarly, there are certain planetary configurations which will decide upon the orientation of life with regard to karma of an individual. The purpose of birth will be determined by the planetary combination in a birth chart. A vital role is being played by signs. There are only 12 signs and 9 planets available for combinations. But there are varied matters that are related to the life. We need to distinguish and analyse different matters of life basing on these limited twelve signs and nine planets only. Therefore, we have to consider a particular rule in a different angle. In most of the cases the sign participation as per the rule will match. In order to signify other matters of life, some time planets are aligned differently and the direct participation of sign may not be possible. Rules themselves are not ultimate. All these qualities are activated either negatively or positively depending upon the equation between his past kanna and present free-will. A Naadi astrologer should develop the art of prioritising and synthesising the subtle significations of planets and Zodiac signs. Naadi oracles cannot be framed into any limited modern mathematical formulae.

It is customary for a reader to omit the fundamentals, if he is into the subject already and try to go to predictive techniques given in this book. But in our Naadi works every chapter or even a paragraph will have material that would throw light on the subject, which, as a matter of fact, relates to fundamentals. It is absolutely impossible to any author to give all the significations of planets and signs in the fundamental chapter because, they are subject to additions and modifications time and again due to changing life pattern in the modern developing world. For example in 14111 century how any astrologer could, at that time, imagine a signification

for computers or cell phones. Every example in this work gives some new angle of interpretation and therefore we request the reader to give some time to each example of illustrated horoscopes. In fact we may not be able to go through minutely as explained in these horoscopes in practical consultation session. Nevertheless, constant practice through these examples the mind will get used to reading the sequence of permutations and combinations and the logic automatically develops. Many of our students strike with unique points from the charts because of constant touch with the subject in class rooms. For example, we find that the last planet which Saturn encounters in his journey will be his karma with which he settles down. This unique formula we have applied in the above horoscope and the sequence exactly matched with author's book seriatim.

Quick glance analysis: Saturn linked to Moon is an indication of past bad karma being affecting the peace of mind of the native. It is an indication that the native will suffer with some chronic disease. This will be more predominant when Saturn transiting in 12111 to Moon, over Moon and in 2nd sign to Moon. This is what is popularly called "Sade Sathi" or "Eiarata Shani". Unless, Rahu or Ketu involved, the effect of this transit will not lead to material discomfort but surely will affect the health of the native. Ketu, being a retro planet, pushes the Venus along with him to the sign Aquarius. From Aquarius, Venus gets link of Mercury and Saturn in Leo and Moon and Venus in Libra. This is an indication of her leaving the husband ahead and seeking change to get a different person, Mercury as husband. Saturn could have also another person but he is in Leo which is not a comfortable place and he is also governed by Sun which is again blocking him and therefore pushes Mercury who is his friend. Similarly, hypothetically moved Mars, in Aries, also gets the link of Mercury in Leo. This type of hypothetically moving of planets will give more clarity. It is showing clearly that there will be a break in marriage due

to the de-linking factor of Ketu as explained above. The marriage, of-course, ended in divorce. The process is on for 2nd marriage. After experimenting on several horoscopes we are giving this unique method of hypothetical movement of planets to analyse the chart. We can apply this technique for Education, Profession (moving Mercury every year and Satum every 2Y2 years) Marriage etc. We can also read about the relatives like Father, Mother, Brothers, Sisters, Husband, Son, Daughter etc. By moving Rahu and Ketu, we can understand the obstructions and ill effects the native is going to undergo by moving them in each sign ( 1Y2year in one sign).

Chapter 9 Doubts on Naadi Clarified We would like to discuss some of the doubts expressed by our readers about Naadi system There is a notion that the Naadi system which we are propagating does not consider Lagna and hence it is not in conformity with the conventional astrological norms. Our Clarification " ... Kathithaphalaih parathorikalpaneeyah" this verse is from brihat jataka of Acharaya Varahamihira from the 14111 chapter 5th stanza.

This 14th chapter is about the results from the combination of two planets and in this 5th verse further he says that similar to the results given by him, rest of the results for other the combinations are to be arrived by using imagination and logic.

These results given by him are based on the combination of planets independent of L.agna or houses by using some prime significations represented by planets. This establishes the fact that there is a method to arrive at the results by combination of planets which is sanctioned by an authority not less than a great scholar like Varahamihira. Therefore, Naadi is an authenticated system where in the results are derived by using combination of planets.

Having established the authentication for our system Naadi astrology, we would like' to establish that during past 8 years our system has acquired popularity across the world and even there are students from foreign countries who are coming to India and learning this system from us. We are receiving feed back from the practicing astrologers who are extensively using this method and satisfying their customers. Timing of event is based on slow moving planets and among these slow moving planets Jupiter is the fastest where in the events can be predicted on yearly basis. Many expressed their desire to know weather the event can be pinned down to further to shortest period using transit of other planets or with any other technique. Our submission

Honestly speaking we have not ventured into that aspect due to the fact that in none of the Naadi granthas we find timing of events on day to day basis except for a few charts where the name of the year month and thithi or Nakshatra is mentioned. However, so far we could not find any clue to pin down events so closer. This is also true in case of traditional astrology or for that matter the so called modem scientific systems introduced. In our experience with the above systems spanning more than 30 years we frankly it that the tall claimed principles advocated by so called scientific astrology authors have miserably failed in repeated applications in pinning down date wise events. We do not deny the fact that there are scholars who can give date wise prediction but the methodology with which they predict is not universal and cannot repeatedly applicable by others.

In the case of Naadi every person who studies our system can apply the principle repeatedly and get the similar predictions for the charts and as far as timing of event is concerned all astrologers following this system of Naadi will time the event in the same year. Some of the Naadi astrologers with extraordinary occult achievements are also predicting the dates and as said earlier neither they nor we could document a principle for such accurate timing of events. The subject is open for research and readers are requested to do research and find a solution for date wise prediction and enlighten us for which we shall be ever indebted. There are doubts about method of analyzing twin birth or horoscopes of different persons born on the same day as our system do not consider Lagna. How we go about it:

This problem exists even in the conventional astrology and even with so called scientific astrology. We get defensive statements from these sectors stating they use provisions 60th division chart prescribed in conventional astrology and the micro stellar division prescribed in the stellar astrology for twin births and for births of persons on same dates. Practically there is no authenticated methodology in the dassical texts with respect to analysis of divisional chart. There are number of articles scholarly authors of astrology prescribing methods to analyse divisional charts and they are all disputable personalised experiences and openions but not a definite unfailing authenticated system. In the stellar system 3'd and 41h divisions signify different components with in the span of 2 or 3 minutes which are attributed to lords and there will be shifting of houses in twin birth charts. Logically this sounds more convincing but

practicality it is again the personalised logic and prindples which might work for an individual of exceptional power of intuition but not an unfailing authenticated rule. We are not criticising any of the system but we are trying to highlight the limitations in the systems including Naadi. We are therefore introducing the use of horary chart which is a must to study the birth chart in Naadi system. In the event of similar births, we use horary as a tool to study one chart and the other we go by natal chart . This system of delineating based on horary is working well and we have experimented on many horoscopes and found to be satisfactorily working. In our recent book Revelation from Naadi Jyotisha, we have introduced the L.agna with its limited usage. We are working on methods to bring the total concept of conventional astrology into Naadi system with necessary modifications and make unique system of predictions. In some cases the results based on combination of planets given in Naadi books does not agree in total. Our suggestion

The planetary combinations given in the books by our Guruji and by the author are based only on the signification planets. But in our works we have also indicated the influence of sign significations. We have to combine the significations of signs, mutual exchanges, and retrograde effects and logically combine the planetary significations to derive the ultimate results. Thorough knowledge of karakatwa of Rasi and the disposition of planets is a must to predsely arrive at the point. It is also essential to understand the functional nature and the subtle characteristics of planets and signs to develop new significations which will help in prediction.

In transit if Rahu or Ketu approaching Sun it indicates danger to either Father or Son. There are doubts among many whether to attribute the danger to Father or Son. Our Advice

First and foremost, why should we bother about identifying whether it is Son or Father? In Naadi Sun is a common planet signifying both. You are studying the native's horoscope. In native's horoscope, according to his karma, the pleasures and pains that the native experiences through the relatives are indicated. We can simply say that due some danger either to Father or Son, the native may face tensions. This is what we should say from the native's horoscope. If native wants to know specifically, then call for the horoscopes of Son or Father and give the opinion. Let us not portray a persona of all knowing genius just to thrill the consultant. Humbly we should be there to solve the problems of the consultant by guiding him to overcome the problems rather than expecting praise from him for our correct predictions of his sufferings. Naadi astrology is to study karma and put the consultant on the right track of salvation . . However, it is not ruled out that by studying the horoscope we can go deeper and tell many things. Such secret techniques are experiences and not formulas. Using horachart and hora lord is the best method to resolve secrets in the charts. Many such subtle readings are given in my previous book and some of them are appearing in this work also. It all based on the tricky way of combining the planets and it has to come by constant practice and study and each of them will develop their own skills in combining the significations not only of planets, the signs, of charts but also the audio visual significations noticed on the spot at the · time of consultation.

We repeat all the rules or guide lines are to develop the metaphysical approach and use this knowledge for betterment of society. What is said above is not only for Naadi astrology but also applicable to any other system of prediction. Never ever we can get a 100% fool proof method because the very subject of prediction is cosmic secret. Tall claims of accurate 100% prediction etc. are nothing but commerdal attraction from a few fame oriented commercial occultist. We must be happy to have this system of Naadi which has some methodology without confusion to read the problems of the native which will help the native to take precaution and get some remedies by surrendering to higher power.

The Vedas, Upanishads have glimpses of this ,. science but due to the language in which they are presented ('it iacks the expertise translated versions. For that matter, the beginning chapters of "Bhagvat Gita" if well translated and understood will become a best personality development and positive thinking course. This can be vouchsafed, by reading the English version of "Bhagvat Gita"by Swami Chinmayananda. Any other part of the World has no record of such a powerful discourse on personality development and positive thinking about 3000 years back. The superscience to understand the human mind, life and beyond was developed by our sages much before 3000 years. Modem psychology researchers have documented, evolved methods and machines to study the mind. They have introduced electrical and electronic gadgets to map the mental process. No doubt this is a great achievement and yet it has its own limitations in studying matters beyond life. In contrast our ancients did not invent machines but introduced metaphysical approach to study the mind and to read beyond mind to understand the life itself. With these metaphysical tools they could go back to previous births and even know the secrets of creation. Astrology is one such great tool through which we can know many things about the past and present of an individual. Unfortunately, we have lost many great works in this field due to foreign invasions and lost the track of true history. However, with the available material the scholars in this field have rebuilt certain systems which are being used by the astrological fraternity across the world. The inventions in modern psychology are no small contributions. We must appreciate efforts of researchers in this filed for their contribution in several fields. We should

incorporate these modem techniques in Astrology to expand its utility in the field of modern psychology. In almost all the branches of psychology the main component of study is related to brain. There are different neurological studies related to this. Various experiments are being conducted to study the human brain. However we consider a small portion from the modem research work on brainwave theory to be explored through astrology to study conscious levels from a birth chart. For this purpose we need to co-relate the technical of brainwave theory with celestial terminology. First let us try to understand the science behind brainwave theory. There are four types of brain waves called as Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. We are not considering Delta waves separately as it is the extended level of theta wave. Eadl brainwave has cycles counted per second having some functional significations which are given below: Brainwave BETA-Frequency cycles per second 13 to 40: Ability to think, perform well, goal orientation, focus

on positive thoughts, alertness, grasping of things for better future are all positive side of this wavelength. This is considered normal functioning wavelength. Brainwave ALPHA-Frequency cycles per second 8 to 13: This is generally · indentified as relaxed state of

mind, helpful in imagination and creativity. Imaginations include illusions, audio and visual impressions. It is a semi conscious state of mind or a hypnotic state of mind susceptible to auto or external suggestions. At this level the alertness will be at dormant state and many mind analysts' claims to induce this brainwave to reduce anxiety, stress, tensions, unwanted thoughts and sleeplessness caused due to functioning in conscious level of Beta brainwave. It is possible to recollect past memories being in lower frequency of Alpha

brainwaves. That is it travels through different memory locations in the brain. This is the sub-conscious level function. Subconscious never ceases to exist and it is beyond age and time. It is an important wavelength which has the flexibility to modify stored memories. It guides the behavioral temperaments. It is not only the experiences of past of this life, but it also has the memories of past life. In the functional side brain has two hemispheres having active and imaginative functioning. The subconscious mind chooses to be imaginative. The active state functions logically and the subconscious mind will be receptive. While the active brain performs rationally, the subconscious brain functions illogically. The subconscious mind is re-programmable as it will be in the hypnotic state. In the recent past many psychological counselors have started programmes called "past life regression". In this programme they claim that the bad memories or the evi I effects of past life are removed. Basically this is a deep hypnotic suggestive programme and the person undergoing this programme will be put to hypnotic state (driving the brainwave to Alpha level) with suggestion of different modules developed by the psychologists. Similarly the sub-conscious mind is also receptive to negative or positive auto or external suggestion. This establishes the fact that both negative and positive impacts are possible being in this state and some times a person may function being in this sub-conscious level. Because of its complex nature we can identify this as abnormal state of mind. Brain wave THETA-Frequency cycles per second

4 to 8: Inner self and intuitions, sensations, memories, and subtle emotions are the major activities involved in this brain frequency. Perscns with predominance of Theta weave lengths are not self centered but will be society oriented. There will be free flow of ideas without any restriction or guilt. They will be positive in their mental state. Many of the activities

do not need alert state and they beam1e automatic for the persons influenced by this wavelength. Such persons are prone to be unworldly and inclined towards metaphysical life. At lower frequencies they can read the mind of other persons. The occult faculties of brain will be predominant. They try to flee away from the bandages and are inclined towards higher knowledge. Son1e drugs induce a temporary feeling similar to this which is actually not the Theta or Delta state. Son18 sections of Sadhus do get addicted to drugs like Ganja etc, to experience this temporary feeling. Beyond this state it is called Delta waves and this state is experienced by every body for a few seconds before going to deep sleep and/or before awakening from deep sleep. Permanently being in Delta state is possible only for yogis or self realised persons. This state is beyond super-consciousness or cosmic-conscious. In general it is a short period of transitory wave. Therefore we are merging it Theta wave and not discussing separately. Karma theory and Brainwaves All scientific explorations are based on the material resources and do not consider metaphysical approach. Therefore, time and again new findings will replace the previous discoveries. However we have to rely upon the great metaphysical science which explores secrets of very existence of life. According to Sanatana dharma, a human being is bom on this earth to clear his past karma. Either good or bad during the course of his life he has to experience the resultant effects of previous Karma with a free-will to put his efforts on the right direction to clear his past karma.

Past Karma and free-will are two components, which are very important in the Indian philosophy. The effects of

Karma either good or bad will have to be experienced. Freewill is to be trained based on the avail_able resources of knowledge to understand the past effects and lead the life towards salvation. Functional effects of Karma The stored karma will have influence on mental emotions, physical performances and on material matters. These are called as Vasanas with which the human is born. The Vasanas influence both positively or negatively based on the nature of karma and direct the person to lead life in this world to experience the respective stored karma. At the conscious level using free-will if a person conducts himself using guiding resources, the previous negative effects are nullified and positive effects will lead to fulfillment of purpose of life. Ignoring guidance with unguarded actions at free-will he will yield to gross ignorance and adds up negativity to the existing karma. This makes him chained in the birth and death cycle. This domain we attribute to Alpha brainwaves where a person can make or mar his life. If the previous birth has already progressed in metaphysical achievements, then it will direct the present life in that direction causing rejections to material life. This aspect we attribute either Theta/Delta brainwaves. However the very fact that the person is re-born indicates the balance of karma to be experienced in this birth. Therefore, it is inevitable for a person functioning mostly from theta level to express some of his activities at Alpha or Beta level.

Free-will functional aspect

The man has to function in the material world and therefore, whichever frequency is predominant as stated above he has to function at the common perceivable plane in whichever manner he exhibits his life style. This is possible when he directs his action in the alert state. This we attribute to Bela brainwave function. In view of the similarities in the brainwave theory and karma theory we have to index for indentifying nature of karma. For this purpose we rely on Astrology. Having worked more on the Naadi astrology I prefer to choose this system of astrology for integrated presentation of brainwave theory. Significations of Karma brainwaves

in Astrology and

In Naadi Astrology planets are attributed with number of significations. However for the purpose of merging brainwave theory into Naadi astrology the signification of planets are reduced to single word as shown below. Jupiter is Jeeva karaka i.e., Life Saturn is Karma karaka i.e., Karma Moon is Manah i.e., Thought Mars is Deha and Shakti i.e., Body and Power Mercury is Buddhi karaka i.e., Skills. Venus is Bhoga karaka i.e., Pleasures Sun is Padavi & Keerti i.e., Esteem

Brainwaves - conscious levels and planets

Without deviating from the scientific significations we have framed the different wavelengths in accordance with the philosophical approach Conscious level functions are attributed to Beta brainwave Sub-conscious level functions are attributed to Alpha brainwave. Super-conscious level functions are attributed to Theta and Delta brainwave. We have assigned the planetary significations for each level of consciousness as shown below: Conscious level significations (Beta) Life-Jupiter Skills-Mercury

Karma-Saturn, Thought-Mind , Body-Power-Mars Pleasure-Venus Esteem-Sun

Generally these activities represented by seven planets are expressed in the nonnal state of alertness. The classical texts of our ancient astrology, speaks volumes about the effect of Rahu and Ketu as chaya grahas. In Naadi effects of these two nodes are explicitly discussed. Both Rahu and Ketu are not physical bodies. Basically they are energy zones created by revolving Moon around Earth. (For details refer "Revelation from Naadi Astrology"Chapter 1 - Page 2- Sagar publications-Delhi). In this context M:x:n is assigned with signification of Thought. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are energy zones of thought.

Ketu in Astrology is attributed to Metaphysical and social welfare matters which reject the material comforts. In our

brainwave theory Theta/Delta waves are attributed to Metaphysical states which fall under the Super-conscious category. Therefore Ketu is indicates Super-conscious level. Significations of Super-conscious (Theta/ Delta):The significations of Super-consciousness Theta/Delta wavelength are Skill, Thought, Work, Pleasures and Esteem. This will reject or block the material side of Life, Skill, Thought, & Work and relates to humanitarian services and metaphysical activities.

Esteem remains Esteem whether it is at conscious or super conscious level. The body and power is expressed in Beta wave functions. When it operates from Super-conscious (Theta or Delta) level it exhibits stubbornness. Rahu in astrology indicates Aoncirmality or eccentricity, : Illusions, Imaginations, Shadow, Foreign, Search for unknow'n, Sin, Diseases, Dangers, Unethical, and ~ecret matters. Sub-conscious significations (Alpha): it is already said that activities in this level are considered as abnormal with behavioral eccentricity which is one of the qualities of Rahu. The functional nature in this level is different from the normal functioning and hence it will be unusual or foreign in nature. The alpha state is sub-conscious level in which search goes on for unknown matters. If such secrets are positively influenced it turns to research orientation. Due its hypnotic state it generates illusions and imaginations and at alert level may force to take up activities relating to these fields. Due to half conscious many alert activities are shadowed. It activates sub-conscious wavelength and therefore, susceptible to the stored information about the past sin, unethical properties. These negativities will affect the physical well being and cause dangers in alert state. This may also further activate unethical and sinful activities to be performed under shadow for which it exhibits eccentricity and prefers to maintain secrecy.

Therefore, the qualities of Rahu are all applicable in Subconscious significations. To be precise we shall rephrase Subconscious significations (Rahu) as follows: On the positive side: Research oriented, shadow, illusion and imaginative, foreign related aqtivities and Secretive in nature. (For positive effect the Lead ··planets must cooperate)

On the negative side: Functional or relational abnormality, Unethical or sinful tendencies, sufferings due to previous karma. · Application of brainwave significations in Astrology We know that Rahu and Ketu are not physical planets. Astrologically they are the product of Moon to which our great seers have attributed to Mind. Though invisible they cast their vibrations on other planets. The wavelengths of brain are also invisible. Be it Super-conscious or Sub-conscious influence it must relate to significations of matters represented by seven planets falling in the conscious level. In other words the behavioral tendencies at conscious level are due to influence of Rahu (Sub-conscious) or Ketu (Super-conscious) on significations of other planets. The brain wave theory explained above is again related to Mind. Rahu and Ketu also relates to Moon representing Mind. Therefore, the brain wave theory must have close relationship with Rahu and Ketu axis. Taking into the similarities between brainwaves and the vibrations of Rahu and Ketu we have to identify their brainwave influences on the places from their position in the zodiac. The method of synchronising them and study different conscious levels in birth chart is the main object of this chapter.

In Naadi Astrology Rahu and Ketu will have effect on the sign they occupy. The 51h and 91h sign from them will have their effect. 2nd and 1ih sign will also have their effect. To determine the effect on 2nd and 1ih signs we need some logic of computation.

Mathematical Logic We have different wave cycles for each category. Alpha ranges between 9 to 14 cycles per second Theta ranges between 5 to 8 cycles per second Delta ranges between 1 to 4 cycles (not considered for computation) Beta ranges between 15 to 40 cycles per second. Total there are 40 cycles of brain and since we are not considering Delta wave the total wavelength will be 36 for the purpose of calculation. The cycles are speed matter and the zodiac is space matter. We are trying to co-ordinate time and space matter here. Not attributing time and space concept, we have to take the digital values of Alpha, Theta/Delta waves cycles to determine the influential areas in Zodiac. Zodiac is of 360 degrees in which there are certain space divisions which are influenced by Rahu and Ketu which we have explained earlier. Three signs of Rahu and Three signs of Ketu total 6 sings are under the influence of these two invisible planets. Total 180 degrees are occupied by Rahu and Ketu. That means 90 degrees of space is operated on Sub-conscious level by Rahu and 90 degrees is operated by Ketu on Super-conscious level. Rahu and Ketu also have effect on 2nd and 1ih house from their position. These two or opposite nodes, and when their operational cycles are different, it is essential to find

out their influence which extends on either side of their position. Therefore, we have to take the digital cyclic figures for computation purpose. The total zodiac is 360 degrees and the total cycles are 36 consisting of Alpha 6 and Theta 4. Beta 26, For 36 cycles the zodiac span is 360 degrees For 6 cycles of Alpha it is 60 degrees For 4 cycles of Theta it is 40 degrees Rahu and Ketu have already had their influences in 3 signs i.e. both put together it is 180 degrees. Total area covered by them with the 2nd & 1ih sign contribution is works out to :

60+40+ 180 = 280 The balance is 80 (360-280) degrees of Zodiac space is available for operation of Beta level. The 60 degrees of extra coverage for Rahu representing Alpha wave is allotted to 2nd sign 30 degrees and 1ih sign 30 degrees. Similarly the 40 degrees of extra coverage of Ketu operates at 20 degrees on either side of Ketu. With this computation we have identified the places of brainwaves in the zodiac. The planets falling in these sectors will represent the influence of brainwaves on the matter related to the planets. We give charts for twelve positions of Rahu and Ketu in zodiac and mark the influence of brainwaves in those areas for ready reference.

Eoch house has a lord, a Karaka and it may or may not have planets posited in it. We know that we are not using the application of brain wave theory for astrological analysis. The aim of this topic is to find out different conscious level under which the signification of a house, its lord, its karaka and the planet posited in them will function. Perhaps further research in this field is essential to arrive at a precise system.
