HumaCount 30TS and HumaCount 60TS The new features and validation data HumaPower (REF 18965/12) and Human SolarCharge (REF 18965/14), a 12Volt battery system charged by a solar to operate the HumaCount 30/60TS systems. Advantages no conversion loss - using 12 Volt HumaPower remote setup UPS included, of course! The Solar s generate DC power, being stored easily in batteries (12 Volt). Power supplies use 220 Volt and convert this AC-voltage to 12Volt DC voltage for the instrument. Conventional systems with inverter lose energy in 2 ways – converting 12Volt to 220Volt and then converting 220Volt to 12Volt. The HumaPower system uses just 12 Volt directly applying it to the HumaCount 30/60TS. HumaPower can be charged by solar power, a generator or by ordinary mains.
New Parameters • P-LCC • P-LCR
Platelet large cell concentration Platelet large cell ratio
P-LCR and P-LCC are important parameters to investigate thrombocytopenia. Specifications are described as below. P-LCC = platelets larger than 12 fl and smaller than 30fl. P-LCR = P-LCC/PLT (PLT = total number of platelets, PL= platelets, fL= femtoliter)

HumaCount 30TS and HumaCount 60TS Following four parameters are now displayed simultaneously • RDW-SD • RDW-CV • PDW-SD • PDW-CV
Red Cell Distribution width Red Cell Distribution width (absolute) Platelet Distribution width Platelet Distribution width (absolute)
RDW-SD and RDW-CV are important parameters for anisocytosis. The distribution width of the erythrocyte or platelet population derived from the histogram at 20% of peak xDW-SD = RDWcal . (P2 - P1) (fl), xDW-CV = RDWcal . 0.56* . (P2 - P1) / (P2 + P1)

HumaCount 30TS and HumaCount 60TS HumaCount 30TS/60TS vs. CellDyn 3700 comparative study 59 samples were analyzed in this study. K2-EDTA Vacutainer tubes (BD) were used. All samples run on the reference Cell-Dyn 3700 instrument in closed-tube mode within 2 hours as routine laboratory analysis using the open-tube mode on HumaCount 30TS within 4-6 hours.
The primary parameters (WBC, RBC, HGB, MCV, PLT and MPV) were measured and reported by HumaCount 30TS correlated well with the Cell-Dyn 3700 results. In most of the cases, slopes of statistical regression were close to 1. Most of the calculated CBC parameter (HCT, MCH, and PCT) correlation coefficients were around or over 90%. Granulocytes measured by HumaCount 30TS were correlated with the sum of neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils reported by Cell-Dyn 3700 reference instrument. Correlation coefficients for lymphocyte and granulocyte absolute counts were over 98%, while percentages were over 97%. Correlation coefficient for monocyte absolute count was over 90%, while percentage was over 80%. Clinical evaluation summary: “The instrument provides excellent values of reproducibility on CBC and primary parameters, and very low carryover for CBC parameters.”
