ENGINEERS NEW REGISTRATION The steps for new registration are as follows;

1. Visit PEC website at www.pec.org.pk

2. Click on ENGINEERS ONLINE REGISTRATION and select Apply for Online Registration

5. This portion should be filled properly and carefully. Use an email address which is already in your use and you must have access to your email address ( your ). Enter your CNIC number properly and carefully and click on Submit. Now don’t close this tab and open your email inbox in a new tab.

6. An email having an activation link will be sent to your email address. If you don’t find any email in your inbox, do check your junk/spam folders as well. Open the email received from PEC and click on the link (Click here to activate your ). After clicking on the link, your PEC is now activated

7. Close all tabs and visit PEC website again at www.pec.org.pk. Click on Apply for online registration.

13. Enter all of your educational info in step 3. Don’t enter the serial numbers of your Detail Mark sheets/Transcripts. The serial numbers of certificates/degrees should be entered here. Bachelor’s Degree/Transcript must be verified from the controller of examinations of your university. If you don’t have degree, transcript or both of these then provisional degree or provisional transcript can be ed for PEC registration. the front sides here and the backsides in the extra attachments section. The images should be less than 2 MB in size and should be in jpg format. Click next Note: Pre Medical + Additional math students must check point 17 and 18 of this section

14. challan here for new registration if you are a graduate from 2015 or previous years. If you are 2016 or 2017 graduate, skip this step and click next. The new registration is free for graduates after 2015. Click Next

15. Review your information (documents and details) before submission and submit form in step 5. If the submit form link is not working then and again. By logging in again, make sure all of your information from step 1 to step 5 is correct. Sometimes by getting logged out before submitting form, some info is changed and reset to default. If you find any mistake, make corrections again. Submit the form

Note: The qualification details provided at step 3 can be changed or deleted (in case of any mistake) even after submitting online application until and unless the file is received at PEC office!

16. After applying for online registration, check out your application status by logging in into your at http://portal.pec.org.pk/.aspx. The chart displays the status with history of your application chronologically (date wise)

17. Pre Medical students must the detail mark sheets and degrees of their intermediate (Pre Medical) in the first place i.e. step 3 of online application (Qualification). After submitting the online application for PEC registration, into your immediately and click on profile and select qualification

18. In Add New Qualification Menu, select Intermediate and click on H.S.S.C (Pre-Medical + Add. Math). Enter the details and the scanned copies of detail mark sheet and certificate of your additional math only. Click on Save

RENEWAL OF REGISRTRATION/LIFETIME HIP Whenever PEC number is allotted, a registration certificate is printed and dispatched at your given address. The current and default hip given to every ed engineer is yearly, which must be renewed after a specific period of expiry mentioned on your registration certificate by paying a certain amount of fee for 1, 2 or 3 years. To get rid of renewal of registration after every 1, 2 or 3 years by paying a certain amount of fee again and again, every ed engineer has an option to switch his/her current hip from yearly to lifetime. The main advantage of lifetime hip is that after every 3 years, you will have to renew your lifetime card free of cost. In yearly hip, you have to renew your card by paying a certain amount of fee while in lifetime hip, only card is renewed after every 3 years for the rest of your life without paying any charges. The steps for switching your current and default yearly hip to lifetime hip are as follows;

3. You can /change your profile picture in this section which will be printed on your lifetime card. Select the nearest regional office from where you can easily collect your lifetime card. Add/Change your postal address which will be printed on your lifetime card. Add the details of your challan for lifetime renewal and the scanned copy of your challan after paying the fee for lifetime subscription and receiving the customer copy from the bank.

4. There are special challan/deposit slips available at HBL or MCB on which the PEC number is already mentioned. If you don’t find any specific challan/deposit slip for PEC at HBL or MCB, you can get a simple deposit slip from any branch of HBL or MCB and can pay a fee for lifetime hip by mentioning the PEC number on the deposit slip manually. The bank details of Pakistan Engineering Council are available at PEC website. The customer copy signed by the bank officer should be scanned and ed in your PEC .
