External Attributes First impressions are ed when people meet. This includes physical health and hygiene, grooming, accessories, make-up, posture, and the useof color combination.
Physical Health and Hygiene Physical well-being is the best form of security one can have. Physical Hygiene is the maintenance of personal cleanliness and sanitation of the body.
Brain Belongs to the central nervous system. Provide the brain with good food, enough sleep, fresh air, exercise, relaxation and positive outlook.
Food for the Brain 1. Iron- Helps to deliver oxygen to the brain through the bloodstream. Source: Meat, fish, molasses, and soybeans. 2. Vitamin C- Deficiency causes mental sluggishness.
3. Vitamin B 12- Deficiency results in the impair of memory.

SKIN- Beautiful skin is one of women`s asset and therefore it should be well cared for. Some rules to follow are: 1. Get enough sleep at least eight hours a day. 2. Keep dirty fingers away from your face. 3. Avoid using heavy make-up and never sleep with your make-up on. 4. Avoid fatty foods, chocolates, and candies.
5. Prevent pimples by observing daily elimination habits. 6. For oily skin, wash your face with soap and water more often. 7. For dry skin, apply lanolin.
Hair- Shampoo

Eyes- The best physical asset of a person is his pair of eyes. The first organ used as a person’s medium in communication is his/her pair of eyes.
Good Grooming- means appropriate clothes on the appropriate occasion. • Dresses. A basic dress is one that is simply cut with good lines that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion or place where it be worn.
The following are essential in buying dresses: 1. Good Fit. The dress should be hang on the body so that you can move easily. 2. Good Workmanship. Neat sewing, straight seem, smooth placement of zipper, collar and sleeves. 3. Good Materials. For the working girl, good fabrics are essential because of the water and tear on clothes.
Accessories. Accessories are must for women.
Good Posture First impression is lasting. It is a state which enables the body to function to best advantage.
Psychology of Colors Colors set the mood or ambience. They are outward expressions of how to feel whether lonely, happy, brave, strong, dull, sexy, decisive, or board. Linda Clark in her book Color Therapy, (Complete Woman,1985) states that there is the energy in color
Yellow- makes one feel happy and carefree.
Red- makes one person strong, dynamic and courageous. It impels people to action.
Orange- helps a person to be assertive.
Green- the color of nature, promotes the feeling of well-being.
Black- association with death. Blue- is soothing. It cannotes royalty and regalness.

Foundation. It provides the base for all your glamour cosmetics.

Corrective Eye make-up 1. Close-set Eyes. Widen space between the eyes by using light shadow near the nose. 2. Wide-set Eyes. Reduce the space between eyes that are too wide apart. 3. Hooved Eyes (Bulging). Light shadow under the brow teamed with dark shadow on the eyelid will flatten protruding eyes.
