Present y past Perfect

Present perfect It´s a tense that is used for actions of the recent past that still have effect in the pressent. Example: • I have a pain in the chest since yesterday • I have not a pain in the chest since yesterday

Función La función es de cierta manera construir un puente entre el presente y el pasado. El Present Perfect indica una conexión entre el pasado y el presente.

Forma de la oración + Sujeto.

+ Verbo Auxiliar.

+ Verb.pasado Participio.

Have Has ( tener, haber)

Example: • She has had a pain in the left arm • I have had palpitations

Afirmativa Para poder construir la forma afirmativa del presente perfecto debemos utilizar como auxiliar el verbo To HAVE  en Presente Simple y acompañado por el verbo principal en su Pasado Participio (ya sean verbos regulares  o verbos irregulares.

Example: • I have felt a pain of chest • He has felt a pain of chest

Se forma agregando la negación NOT entre el auxiliar y el verbo principal.

Se debe colocar el auxiliar al comienzo de la oración, luego el sujeto y posteriormente el verbo principal también en Pasado Participio

Past perfect It is used to talk about an action that occurred before another action, both being in the past. Example: • Had you felt any heart disease? • He had felt cardiovascular disease.

Para hablar sobre dos tiempos a la vez: el pasado y otro pasado anterior a este. - "I had had an acute myocardial infarction 6 months ago, I had also had angina of chest 1 years before that“

Usos 1-Usamos el pasado perfecto para referirnos a una acción o evento que comenzó en el pasado y que es anterior a otra acción también en el pasado (el pasado simple). example

He had felt a heart attack before angina

3-También, como el presente perfecto, con algunos verbos usamos el pasado perfecto para situaciones que han empezado en el pasado y que siguieron hasta un punto específico en el pasado

I had felt light pain, but now is more intense 2-Se usa para acciones que pasaron antes de un tiempo específico en el pasado. example

Forma de la oración Sujeto + had + verbo en pasado participio. Had: había What had you done? I had not done anything, just I had found some money.
