DESIGN OF AUTOMETRO TRAIN SYSTEM BASED ON RFID
AIM: The main aim of this project is to design metro train with automation.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this project is to design a prototype to implement in metro trains which help in providing automation like door open/close and also updation of station info.

DESCRIPTION: Presently metro trains are like revolutions in transport. How will be if it is automated and secured? Our project is such a type which provides both security and automation and updation of information about stations. Our Project consists of two sections one is RFID TAG section another one is RFID reader section. There are tags placed at each station which consists of Station name details. Whenever the train enters into the particular station the RFID reader reads information from the tag and displays the station name in the LCD provided in the compartments so that the engers can know the location of the train. When the train halts in a particular station the door will be opened automatically so, the engers can get down. After a few seconds door will be closed. Along with these every enger will be provided with Tokens instead of tickets at stations. These tokens consist of travelling details of the enger. Means from and destination stations. At each entrance of metro compartments there will be RFID reader, the enger should show tag at reader. If the tag shown by enger is valid then only the door of the train will be opened. If the card is invalid then the door will not be opened. So that engers with valid ticket can only board the train. Whenever the train reaches the particular destination station then the train will stop and the engers can get down. Because of tokens which contains starting and destination stations of that particular enger.
TECHNOLOGY: RFID: RFID is an acronym for Radio Frequency Identification. In general , RFID is a means of identifying a person or object using a radio frequency transmission. In other words RFID is an electronic method of exchanging data over radio frequency waves. The technology can be used to identify, track, sort or detect a wide variety of objects. There are three major components of an RFID system: the reader, the antenna, and the tags. Each tag is associated with a unique number. When a tag is in the detection range of the reader, the number is read. Two types of tags can be found: active tags with a longer detection range and ive tags with a shorter detection range. An RFID tag is usually attached to an object and the information of the object along with the RFID number are recorded in the database. Whenever the RFID tag is sensed, the object can thus be identified. SOFTWARES: 1. Embedded C 2. Keil µvision 3. Flash magic or ISP 4. Express PCB HARDWARE COMPONENTS: 1. Microcontroller 2.
