Roger Faulques (born 14 December 1924 , died on 6 November 2011 ) was a French military colonel from the Special Military School of Saint-Cyr , paratroop officer of the Foreign Legion . He died on 6 November 2011 in Nice .

Biography [ edit ] Roger Faulques resistance fighter in 1944 and is fighting with the 1st Army. Lieutenant , he served in Indochina in a first SEN . He is fighting on the RC 4 and was seriously wounded during the operation of Cao Bang . Prisoner, he visited the French army, the Vietminh having considered virtually dead. Roger Faulques used in Algeria in the 1 st and REP as an intelligence officer during the Battle of Algiers . He does not participate in the April 1961 coup as many claim. HISTORY OF THE GARRISON OF VALVES Very ancient fortress, which has its origins in Roman times. VALVES has seen over the centuries confirm its vocaiion garrison town. Biography [ edit ] Roger Faulques resistance fighter in 1944 and is fighting with the 1st Army. Lieutenant , he served in Indochina in a first SEN . He is fighting on the RC 4 and was seriously wounded during the operation of Cao Bang . Prisoner, he visited the French army, the Vietminh having considered virtually dead. Roger Faulques used in Algeria in the 1 st and REP as an intelligence officer during the Battle of Algiers . He does not participate in the April 1961 coup as many claim. HISTORY OF THE GARRISON OF VALVES Very ancient fortress, which has its origins in Roman times. VALVES has seen over the centuries confirm its vocaiion garrison town.
