Jain Director Having received a Gold Medal in M. Tech from IIT Roorkee and an award winning research scholar during his PhD, he nurtures a vision to develop strong technical skills in the students. Dr. Aaquil Bunglowala Principal He was a meritorious scholar during the academics and more than 19 years of experience in Industry and Academics. A proficient leader to develop professional environment for academics. Dr. V.N. Garg Director – Academics, Professor – Dept. of Mechanical Engineering After completing his M.Tech. from IIT-Delhi, he did his Ph.D. in Mechanical. Since then he has guided more than 50 thesis during his teaching tenure of over 42 years Mr. G.P. Mishra Director – Career Development Cell He has an experience of over 40 years in Industry from Manufacture of Textile Processing, Chemicals etc. and amongst the senior-most Training and Placement Officer in Central India.

About CoEs @ SAIT With a clear intent to impart highly skilled professionals in Engineering, SAIT has tied up with world class companies to establish Centers of Excellence in various domains. With truly state-of-the-art infrastructure and dedicated resources, these CoEs are amongst the best performing in the country. With outcome based training in the CoEs, we have imparted trainings, certification and diplomas to not only our students but also to students of colleges in the city.
Some of our Centers of Excellence are:
Being a part of 32 Microsoft Innovation Centers (MICs) in India, are state of art technology facility for collaboration on innovative research, technology or software solutions, involving a combination of government, academic and industry participants.
The testimony of our success of MIC is proven from the fact that Microsoft recently published a case study on how SAIT has been successfully able to impart effective training at this CoE. Students are trained in windows phone by conducting workshop with experts and trainers from Microsoft. We have conducted Microsoft digital literacy program for about 100 participants like students, technicians not related to IT and other staff. We have also planned to educate around 500 persons from proximity villages and schools. We have conducted trainings for 200 students of B.E. Computer Science & Engineering on MTA Database Fundamentals, Network Fundamentals, Software Development Fundamentals, HTML5 App and Web Development. Students developed Apps for Microsoft Windows Phone.
SAIT is one of the 200 Cisco Networking Academies in the country. These are state of art networking technology facility in collaboration with Cisco to help students prepare for in-demand jobs and career certifications in Networking domain.
CISCO Academy @ SAIT offers Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) that validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size router and switched networks CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills We have conducted trainings for 150+ students of B. E. Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication and Electrical & Electronics branch on CCNA Network Fundamentals.
50+ Students has already cleared the certification of CCNA.
Oracle Corporation launched WDP to address the continued global IT worker shortage and need for accessible and low cost IT skills training. Around 400 WDPs enable participating educational institution in delivering Oracle training with full-time / part-time programs in their local communities.
SAIT under Workforce Development Program provide students the knowledge of Oracle9i, Database Management, PL/SQL, Data Warehousing, Building Internet Applications etc. Our students got exclusive privilege to use curriculum developed by and for Oracle University, got special discounts in certification examinations also to access free software and from Oracle. We have conducted trainings for 200+ students of B. E. Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication branch on Oracle Database Fundamentals, PL-SQL Fundamental and Oracle 9i/10g. 50+ Students have already cleared the certifications of ORACLE /MTA for Database Fundamentals.
Other opportunities for the Core Branches
In addition to offering Diploma, Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Courses, SAIT is also a recognized center under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Scheme and offers programs in Basic Automotive 4 wheeler servicing and Repair & Overhauling of Engine Systems (Petrol / Diesel).
SAIT has tied-up with various National and Multinational firms like SAE-India, Autodesk, MSME (Indo-German Tool Room) to provide trainings and to enhance the competence of students to excel in the present scenario.
SAIT TORQUE MONSTER Team has qualified for the International Go-Kart Championship 2013-14 organized at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar (Punjab). Team will now participate in the Race Dynamic Event in March 2014.
