MSC CHITRA AND MV KHALIJIA The incident took place on 7th/ August 2010 in the wee hours of morning. v

MSC Chitra was moving out of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust [JNPT]. It was heading towards Mundra Port in Gujarat. v

At the same time MV Khalijia 3 after being repaired and dewatered was entering JNPT. v

The ships were on different radio frequencies. MSC Chitra was on VHF 13 and Khalijia 3 was on VHF 12. v

As there was no communication, the 2 ships collided. v
