Doodle Notes Tips Share these tips with your students: You don’t have to color EVERYTHING. Use your color wisely to bring out the big ideas • or key concepts. • Follow along and help your brain key ideas by writing over the typed letters with a fine-tipped flare marker or well-sharpened colored pencil. • Try creating some of your own “fonts” by writing BIG and BOLD, All uppercase, all lowercase, cursive…etc. This will make the notes stand out in your memory! • Don’t be afraid to draw small pictures that relate to the topic. They don’t have to be “perfect” to help your brain learn the material! • These doodle techniques can help you create visual notes that will be memorable –
