Student Tour Rules & Regulations An overnight trip is an exciting adventure whether you are an experienced traveler or journeying away from home for the first time. It is an opportunity to explore new places, ideas, and cultures. The fun and adventure of travel is experiencing different ways of eating, living, and thinking. Because of these differences, and for your safety, Junior Tours has set some important rules and guidelines. Adhering to these regulations will not only enhance the enjoyment of your trip, but also ensure that you have a safe one.

BUS BEHAVIOR: Your motorcoach will be with you for your entire Tour. The bus must be kept neat and clean. All garbage shall be disposed of in an appropriate manner. Noise should be kept to a minimum so that your bus driver is not distracted. You will be held responsible for any and all damage you cause.

HOTEL BEHAVIOR: Treat your hotel room with respect. Keep it neat while you use it. You will be held responsible for any and all damage you cause. Be mindful of noise in hotels, especially at night. All pay-per-view movie channels will be shut-off and may not be purchased by a student. All hotel room telephones will be shut-off to outgoing calls. Students may receive incoming calls. Do not run in the hallways or slam doors! Other guests are trying to sleep and noises carry. Except with the express permission of the Group Leader, no tour participant is (i) to leave the hotel grounds for any reason; or (ii) use the hotel pool, hot tub or sauna.

LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS: You are responsible for your own belongings. Keep all valuables with you at all times. Report any missing items directly to the manager of the facility in which you think the item was lost or stolen.

STAYING TOGETHER: It is imperative that you stay together at all times. No one may go anywhere alone for any reason whatsoever. It is of the utmost importance that your Group Leader knows where you are at all times. you are part of a group. Always be on time for scheduled activities and departures. It is unfair to keep others waiting and you don't want to miss a thing!

BREAKING OUT IN SMALLER GROUPS: There are certain parts of your Tour when your Group Leader may permit you to break off into smaller groups. If that is allowed, you must stay in groups of at least three or four. The Group Leader will also give explicit instructions as to where and with whom you are going and on the time and place of your return.

JUNIOR TOURS EMERGENCY CARDS:

You must have in your possession the Junior Tours “Emergency Procedure Card” which will be distributed at the beginning of the Tour. This card provides 24-hour toll-free telephone numbers to call in the event you need assistance while on Tour or are lost or separated from the Group. You should write down on your Emergency Card the Group Leader's cell phone number.

FAMILY VISITS: Should you wish to visit a family member or friend while on Tour, a letter signed by your parents or legal guardian must be in the possession of your Group Leader at the time of the proposed visit. Your Group Leader must also agree to this visit. In all other instances you are expected to have your meals with the group and to participate in all group activities.

CURFEW: All students are required to be in their hotel rooms at a time to be determined by the Group Leader.

NO MOTOR VEHICLES: Other than the motorcoach provided for the Group or when riding with an adult chaperone, it is not permissible for any tour participant to use any kind of motorized vehicle including (but not limited to) train, subway, taxi, private automobile or other vehicle during the Tour.

ALCOHOL OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: Any student possessing or using alcohol or any narcotic will be sent home immediately at parental expense. No weapons of any sort are allowed.

COMMON SENSE AND COURTESY: You must be mindful of your own safety and well being throughout the Tour and use your own good judgment at all times. You are responsible for your possessions as well as for your behavior and will be held able for them. Note: These rules are the minimal guidelines for your trip. Your Group Leader might have additional regulations as well. Except as otherwise stated above, an infraction of the above rules will generally result in a collect telephone call to the student's parents. Further infractions may result in the student being sent home at parental expense.

Arduino 做出很酷的东西，比如对传感器作出响应，闪烁灯光，还能控制马达。随后 Banzi，Cuartielles，和 Mellis 把设计图放到了网上， 然后花了 3000 欧元做了第一批电路板。 这就是 ARDUINO 的起源。 2014 年 3 月 29 日，ARDUINO 单板微控制器欢庆第一个十年。 我校同学在江佳伟老师带领下，有幸参加了在槟城 Penang Science Cluster 举办的世界单板微控制器日 World Arduino Day 2014。 World Arduino Day 2014 參与者來自各界，有大型的电子科技公司如英特尔（ INTEL），安捷伦 AGILENT，还有赞助我校单板微 控制器的抓梦者 DREAM ＣＡＴＣＨＥＲ等，各大专学院如理科大学（USM）和几间获邀请参与其盛的学校。他们各自展出他们利用单 板微控制器编写出來的产品，展出的作品有 3D 复印机，有飞行机，有各式各样，首次见到并难以命名的产品，简直让人大开眼界。 当天的节目丰富，除了单板微控制器作品展览，还有理科大学主持的工作坊，各大工厂的作品推展讲座，和新加坡 ARDUINO DAY 现场连线交流。让我校学生学到课本以外的知识，获益良多。 当天，我校数理学会成员在会场展出了他们编写的智慧結晶。有自动倒咖啡器，掌声掌控的灯等。中华学生的聪明才智，吸引了不 少來自各界的人物围观，有大专学院生，有拖儿带女的家庭主妇，有大公司的老板，还有专业人员。他们问了很多问题，中华学生从一开 始手忙腳乱，到后來从容不逼的回答问题，从这儿可见，他们成长了不少。从围观的人微笑点头，就连大公司的老板也称赞我校学生很有 创意可见，中华生是有“料”的。 活动在下午 4 点結束，虽然很累，中华生也大喊值得，不虛此行。 文/ 谢良达 （5S3）
