BLOWOUT PREVENTER The T3 Model 6012 is a ram type blowout preventer suitable for surface drilling and well intervention, designed and manufactured to the requirements of API Specification 16A. T3 can supply severe service Model 6012 blowout preventers to meet our customer’s specific requirements including qualified ram packers, top seals, and bonnet seal kits for extreme service conditions, high or low temperature, and harsh chemical environments. Ease of integration. All components with dynamic sealing surfaces in the bonnet assembly can be replaced in the field. All combinations of industry standard end connections and side outlets are available for ease of integration into a blowout preventer stack. Many bore and working pressure sizes of Model 6012 blowout preventers can be fitted with T3 large bore shear bonnet assemblies and T3 tandem boosters to meet the ever rising pipe shearing challenges.Wellbore fluid wetted dynamic sealing surfaces are hard faced, providing durable sealing surfaces that protect the integrity of the low alloy steel structure even after minor marring of the hard facing. The hydraulic fluid wetted dynamic sealing surfaces are either hard chrome plated or hard faced assuring maximum performance. A mechanical locking system is fitted on each bonnet assembly or tandem booster to assure that the blowout preventer will remain closed in case of loss of hydraulic closing pressure. A hydraulically actuated mechanical locking system is available for drilling situations that do not allow access to manual locking systems. The component parts of a Model 6012 blowout preventer are suitable for use as replacement parts for most U style ram type blowout preventers. The same manufacturing standards and extreme service packers and seals that are employed to produce the T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventer are used in T3’s remanufacturing operations of ram type blowout preventers.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION AND INFORMATION
All T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventers are supplied with clearly labeled “CLOSE” and “OPEN” ports located on the body of the blowout preventer. The connections to the hydraulic operating system of the blowout preventer are 1” NPT. Customer specified hydraulic connections can be provided upon request. Suitable hydraulic operating fluids are 10 weight hydraulic oil or ivated water based blowout preventer operating fluid. In low temperature operation anti-freeze must be added to water based fluids. Blowout preventers that are taken out of service should be filled with long-term storage hydraulic fluid.
The following information applies to typical T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventers. Blowout preventers with unique features for special applications are available. For minimum blowout preventer stack height, flanged bottom and studded top end connections are optimum and standard. Studded side outlets are also standard. Flange by flange and hub by hub end connections and outlets are available upon request. Corrosion resistant ring grooves are standard. Dimensions shown in the following diagram are in inches and are approximate.

BLOWOUT PREVENTER The T3 Model 6012 is a ram type blowout preventer suitable for surface drilling and well intervention, designed and manufactured to the requirements of API Specification 16A. T3 can supply severe service Model 6012 blowout preventers to meet our customer’s specific requirements including qualified ram packers, top seals, and bonnet seal kits for extreme service conditions, high or low temperature, and harsh chemical environments. Ease of integration. All components with dynamic sealing surfaces in the bonnet assembly can be replaced in the field. All combinations of industry standard end connections and side outlets are available for ease of integration into a blowout preventer stack. Many bore and working pressure sizes of Model 6012 blowout preventers can be fitted with T3 large bore shear bonnet assemblies and T3 tandem boosters to meet the ever rising pipe shearing challenges.Wellbore fluid wetted dynamic sealing surfaces are hard faced, providing durable sealing surfaces that protect the integrity of the low alloy steel structure even after minor marring of the hard facing. The hydraulic fluid wetted dynamic sealing surfaces are either hard chrome plated or hard faced assuring maximum performance. A mechanical locking system is fitted on each bonnet assembly or tandem booster to assure that the blowout preventer will remain closed in case of loss of hydraulic closing pressure. A hydraulically actuated mechanical locking system is available for drilling situations that do not allow access to manual locking systems. The component parts of a Model 6012 blowout preventer are suitable for use as replacement parts for most U style ram type blowout preventers. The same manufacturing standards and extreme service packers and seals that are employed to produce the T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventer are used in T3’s remanufacturing operations of ram type blowout preventers.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION AND INFORMATION
All T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventers are supplied with clearly labeled “CLOSE” and “OPEN” ports located on the body of the blowout preventer. The connections to the hydraulic operating system of the blowout preventer are 1” NPT. Customer specified hydraulic connections can be provided upon request. Suitable hydraulic operating fluids are 10 weight hydraulic oil or ivated water based blowout preventer operating fluid. In low temperature operation anti-freeze must be added to water based fluids. Blowout preventers that are taken out of service should be filled with long-term storage hydraulic fluid.

HYDRAULIC FLUID CONTROL SYSTEM
BLOWOUT PREVENTER The T3 Model 6012 is a ram type blowout preventer suitable for surface drilling and well intervention, designed and manufactured to the requirements of API Specification 16A. T3 can supply severe service Model 6012 blowout preventers to meet our customer’s specific requirements including qualified ram packers, top seals, and bonnet seal kits for extreme service conditions, high or low temperature, and harsh chemical environments. Ease of integration. All components with dynamic sealing surfaces in the bonnet assembly can be replaced in the field. All combinations of industry standard end connections and side outlets are available for ease of integration into a blowout preventer stack. Many bore and working pressure sizes of Model 6012 blowout preventers can be fitted with T3 large bore shear bonnet assemblies and T3 tandem boosters to meet the ever rising pipe shearing challenges.Wellbore fluid wetted dynamic sealing surfaces are hard faced, providing durable sealing surfaces that protect the integrity of the low alloy steel structure even after minor marring of the hard facing. The hydraulic fluid wetted dynamic sealing surfaces are either hard chrome plated or hard faced assuring maximum performance. A mechanical locking system is fitted on each bonnet assembly or tandem booster to assure that the blowout preventer will remain closed in case of loss of hydraulic closing pressure. A hydraulically actuated mechanical locking system is available for drilling situations that do not allow access to manual locking systems. The component parts of a Model 6012 blowout preventer are suitable for use as replacement parts for most U style ram type blowout preventers. The same manufacturing standards and extreme service packers and seals that are employed to produce the T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventer are used in T3’s remanufacturing operations of ram type blowout preventers.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION AND INFORMATION
All T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventers are supplied with clearly labeled “CLOSE” and “OPEN” ports located on the body of the blowout preventer. The connections to the hydraulic operating system of the blowout preventer are 1” NPT. Customer specified hydraulic connections can be provided upon request. Suitable hydraulic operating fluids are 10 weight hydraulic oil or ivated water based blowout preventer operating fluid. In low temperature operation anti-freeze must be added to water based fluids. Blowout preventers that are taken out of service should be filled with long-term storage hydraulic fluid.
The following information applies to typical T3 Model 6012 ram type blowout preventers. Blowout preventers with unique features for special applications are available. For minimum blowout preventer stack height, flanged bottom and studded top end connections are optimum and standard. Studded side outlets are also standard. Flange by flange and hub by hub end connections and outlets are available upon request. Corrosion resistant ring grooves are standard. Dimensions shown in the following diagram are in inches and are approximate.
