Desription

The wraparound pipe footprint extension can be used to draw the footprints of connecting pipes in unwrapped part drawings.

Simplified IFC export to Revit with software specific settings. This export can be used with the BIM Publisher to set up (scheduled) exports of multiple models at once.Export to Revit previously belonged to the Export package. Tekla Structures export to to Software PDMS is an application which produces a .ifcZIP file. File contains IFC and needed other files. PDMS application will read files and create PDMS objects. Installation file creates Tekla Structures application and PDMS package zip file includes needed files for PDMS. Note: This is still in beta phase and under development. to address: [email protected] Form Face Creator is used to add surface treatment representation of formwork to part surfaces. This enables the to get very accurate reports of the formwork areas in their model, quickly and easily. This tool is developed to help Tekla Structures customers to customize NC file names. Default NC files are being created with only Piece Mark whereas some customers would like to have Project Number, Profile and Material in NC file names. It is all possible with this new tool.

This extension provides a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) preview of a selection of drawings and provides options to export them as PDF files, save them as plot files and to print them on a selected printer. This tool imports surface models from Tekla Civil to Tekla Structures and back.The main features of the application are:• Setting the coordinate transformation between Tekla Civil and Tekla Structures, • Importing desired surfaces from Tekla Civil to Tekla Structures as triangle networks, • Inserting beams to defined, • Exporting defined beam surfaces back to Tekla Civil line geometries,

A toolbar to split and/or create couplers at the location of split between two rebars. Also adding end anchors to rebar ends is now possible. Once the couplers and/or anchors are created they can be shown in drawings and can be inquired by reports.

This tool allows s to easily pick faces or lines in the model to quickly measure distances for model review and checking purposes. The all reduces the number of clicks required to get dimensional values compared to the free dimensioning tools in the model. Often times Structural Engineers define column schedules with corresponding base plate details on their design drawings. In many cases the base plate thickness, width, height, number of anchor rods, and anchor rod embedment are closely related to the column size also used in the column schedule. The Base Plate Applicator allows detailers and engineers to accurately and automatically apply different base plate components and settings to a selected group of columns in the model. The columns may be different profile sizes, similar profile sizes but with different class numbers, different rotations, and even different bottom of column elevations yet the Base Plate Applicator will automatically load the appropriate saved base plate settings and place the base plate at the bottom start point of the selected columns that match a rule in the schedule. BAMTEC is a particularly cost effective procedure for planning, manufacture and installation of surface reinforcement for reinforced concrete slabs, reinforced concrete floors and reinforced concrete walls. BAMTEC elements are used instead of normal reinforcement. These contain exclusively uni axially installed round steel bars which are combined into an assembly unit using transverse steel bands. This extension imports .TEC production files in order to visualize the reinforcement carpet in the Tekla Structures model.

To simplify that task small application has been created to automatically modify the file name of the saved settings.

This is a generic solution for extracting report property or defined attribute data from the Tekla Structures model for Parts, Assemblies, Reference Model Objects, or a nested Assembly>Part list using a model plugin vs. directly extracting the data from your external application. The plugin is used because it is up to 20X faster than scanning the model from an external .NET application. This is for use by developers that use the Tekla Open API. The plugin scans the model for the repor or attribute data and writes it to an intermediate XML file in your model folder.
