Many thanks to all of those who prayed with me. Thanks to my wonderful kids who endured the process of writing. Many thanks to all of those helping hands and minds, who helped to produce and publish the book, so that this beautiful project would come alive.
The greatest thank you belongs to my Father in heaven, trusting me that I would realize the work he gave me to do.
Preface
For the past several months, I asked myself and the LORD why so many people stand like strangers beneath the things that are happening all over the world right now. None of us could have imagined me in such a short time. What yesterday wanted and allowed is today forbidden or not possible? When I look into Scripture, there were always times, again and again, when the people of Israel had a hard life. Looking carefully into these scriptures, we see over and over that their troubles were caused by disobedience and by turning their hearts and lives away from the LORD Almighty. Not a single person, but the nation, the majority of the people turned away. You can never say that everybody did it, but the majority behaved like that.
In this book, we will discover how we can react in surroundings where everyone has turned away from the LORD. We will work through the chapters in 2 Chronicles, where Hezekiah, a righteous man, despite being the son of King Ahaz who did all that was evil in the eyes of GOD, rose up, established the rules of the Almighty, and brought his nation back to the Father’s heart.
What is so incredible in this story is that he grew up with a father who tried everything to provoke the LORD’s anger against Israel. Even more, he offered his own children to pagan gods.
He offered sacrifices in the valley of Ben-Hinnom, even sacrificing his own sons in the fire. In this way, he followed the detestable practices of the pagan nations the LORD had driven from the land ahead of the Israelites. He offered sacrifices and burned incense at the pagan shrines and on the hills and under every green tree. (2. Chronicles 28:3-4)
Ahaz not only brought sacrifices to other gods, but he also broke the articles of the Temple of God into pieces and closed the door.
As a king, he closed the door to the Temple and the will and ways of GOD for his whole nation. He broke from everything that established his kingdom and his right to reign and rule over Israel. GOD’s answer was very clear; he is not buried among the kings of Judah in the royal cemetery.
What an inheritance that Hezekiah had. He had the choice to go forward in his father's footsteps or turn around radically and obey the GOD of his ancestors.
GOD must have been very proud of him; he did what GOD pleased.
He did what was pleasing in the LORD’s sight, just as his ancestor David had done. (2. Chronicles 29:2)
It is written as if Hezekiah is a son of David, but there are many generations between them. Thus, spiritually, Hezekiah stepped directly into the inheritance of David.
His love, ion, and purity are where we will focus in this book. How can this love for GOD change the nation in which we live? How can this ion turn around our circumstances? How can we reestablish such purity in our churches? What is the key? Is it possible for us to step directly into David’s inheritance as Hezekiah did?
HOW TO USE THIS MANUAL:
This book will never be completed. If you are on the last page, you can start again from the beginning. The strategy outlined in this book is a cycle that can be repeated throughout your life.
Your study and use of scriptures given will continue until every nation on earth has turned its way to the LORD Almighty.
The manual is divided into 40 different chapters that follow Hezekiah's steps; each chapter starts with the next phase of his journey. This journey is the red line in this book, along which we pray.
Every chapter has:
• Scripture out of 2. Chronicles.
• A small devotion discussing this scripture.
• Several additional scriptures with similar content as prayer encouragement with similar content.
• Prayer points as inspiration for your prayer time.
• Space where you can leave your notes.
1 REOPEN THE TEMPLE
In the very first month of the first year of his reign, Hezekiah reopened the doors of the Temple of the LORD and repaired them. He summoned the priests and Levites to meet him at the courtyard east of the Temple. He said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Purify yourselves, and purify the Temple of the LORD, the God of your ancestors.“ (2 Chronicles 29:3-5)
I love the way Hezekiah started his reign. There was no doubt, that he had a plan. His first and most important goal was to reestablish GOD’s presence in the Temple to open up the way for the LORD so that he can reign among his people. He opened up the Temple, and by this, he made room for the ways and the will of GOD for his people. Then, he took the authority that GOD had given him to reign over Israel.
There was one righteous man. One with the vision for a changed nation. One with the heart to obey GOD. One who said:”Yes, I will see the LORD move among his people.” Only one young man took his GOD-given authority for the good — one who broke with all the evil habits and rules that were common in his time.
It was the first thing he did as king; Hezekiah didn’t wait. He made a clear statement about what he stood for and how he would reign in the Land. The highest priority was the LORD and his commandments.
In all the Nations of the earth right now, we can see that the doors of churches
are closing more and more. It is time to take a stand like Hezekiah and open up the doors spiritually—to our good inheritance in the LORD Almighty for the rest and rescue of our souls and those who live in our nation.
Today we will proclaim together scriptures that open the doors, the veils, and the heavens spiritually for our nation. We want to prepare a way for the LORD: first in our hearts and minds, second in our family, and third in our nation. We will together proclaim that people who love GOD with ion will rise in the different areas of society and prepare the way for him in their area of influence. It is time to take the land back, establish GOD’s order, and speak righteousness, justice, and healing over our nation. But it starts with one pure heart that opens up the door and is willing to cleanse and purify everything so that GOD can have his way among us. So let’s stand with courage for a total turn around toward the LORD Almighty, try the impossible, and look prophetically on the good end. GOD gives you the ability to see what he wants to establish, to see the good end; this gives you power, courage, and endurance to pray until you see GOD move.
In this way, we will prepare a way for the LORD in our nation and among our generation. As it is written in Jeremiah, let us look for the old godly way, that our souls and those of the people in our nation find rest in him. Let us start our spiritual journey to the godly paths and roots, to change the circumstances in our nation.
Scriptures for today
• God says, “Rebuild the road! Clear away the rocks and stones so my people can return from captivity. (Isaiah 57:14)
• This is what the LORD says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. (Jeremiah 6:16)
• “Look! I am sending my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. Then the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his Temple. The messenger of the covenant, whom you look for so eagerly, is surely coming,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. (Malachi 3:1)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank GOD for pure and courageous hearts to stand up and lead the people to purify themselves.
• Ask the LORD for the conscience and longing to see the good inheritance rise in your nation.
• Declare that righteous people will come into positions of government with great authority and rule righteously and humbly.

2 REMOVE ALL DEFILED THINGS
Remove all the defiled things from the sanctuary. Our ancestors were unfaithful and did what was evil in the sight of the LORD our God. They abandoned the LORD and his dwelling place; they turned their backs on him. They also shut the doors to the Temple’s entry room, and they snuffed out the lamps. They stopped burning incense and presenting burnt offerings at the sanctuary of the God of Israel. (2 Chronicles 29:5-7)
After we have opened the doors, we suddenly see the whole disaster. We start to acknowledge what might have happened. Looking back in our bloodline makes it possible to get wisdom about the consequences and long-term results of what our ancestors did, and helps us to stand up for righteousness. The bindings and burdens the past can lay upon our lives are enormous. Only when we look at everything, together with the Holy Spirit, can we break them. Let the past no longer plan your future. It is time to pull out everything that doesn’t please the LORD and get honest before him. We must understand what our ancestors did and why so that we can bring everything before the LORD and ask for forgiveness. It is not enough to pray one sentence, about all that. The Holy Spirit wants to go deeper and reveal, step by step, everything we need so that we can come closer to him. For this, it is essential to look at details. The LORD will show you every detail. Write them down. Do not start to search for things that aren’t there. But have an open mind and open ears to hear and recognize what the Holy Spirit wants to reveal to you.
Looking carefully at the scripture, we see that Hezekiah is pointing out everything that the ancestors did; they abandoned the LORD and his dwelling place, turned their backs on him, shut the doors, snuffled the lamps, and stopped burning offerings.
It is always the same if we start to go our own ways; one evil thing follows the next. It is a downward spiral that you’ve got to stop. First, there is the will to stop it, and then there must be an activity that proves it. Hezekiah had no fear of laying his finger on all the evil things and point them out. Step by step he named everything that provoked the anger of the LORD and brought his people into poverty, loneliness, and hopelessness. Everything the government had done, he named and started to lead the people into the right activity to bring the LORD’s glory back to his nation. His father was an evil King who did such unbelievable things that GOD deleted him out of the kings’ . But his mother was Abijah, which means Yahweh is my Father, and Hezekiah chose the good inheritance—do the same!
With his heart for GOD, he was able to obey and confess the sins of his ancestors. It is easy to read that he opened the temple and purified his nation, but he needed courage and a humble heart.
Scriptures for today
• “If your people Israel are defeated by their enemies because they have sinned against you, and if they turn to you and acknowledge your name and pray to you here in this Temple, then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and return them to this land you gave their ancestors. (1 Kings 8:33)
• Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone (Psalms 32:5)
• “But at last my people will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors for betraying me and being hostile toward me. (Leviticus 26:40)
Prayer-points for today
• Confess all sins that you know your ancestors did before the LORD and what he speaks about the government to you.
• Pray for forgiveness, cleansing, and healing of those sins.
• Proclaim the healing power of the blood of JESUS over all those things.
• Lose yourself from all the yokes that came upon you as a result of these.
• Take communion and celebrate with the LORD the beginning of your new season.
• Take a fresh breath of the Holy Spirit and beg him to fill up all empty areas as a result of cleansing.

3 THE LORD´S ANGER
“That is why the LORD’s anger has fallen upon Judah and Jerusalem. He has made them an object of dread, horror, and ridicule, as you can see with your own eyes. Because of this, our fathers have been killed in battle, and our sons and daughters and wives have been captured. (2 Chronicles 29:8-9)
GOD has made them an object of dread, do you see it? Not the devil but GOD himself did it. His blessing and presence couldn’t stay any longer. That’s the reason, why men died in the war and wives were captured. The whole nation suffered from its sins against the LORD. But as in many cases, most people can’t see the real reason for their suffering or won’t see it. As always, there has to be someone who stands up and tells the people the truth whether they want to hear it or not. Someone who shows the order in which things happened and what they caused. In other words, Hezekiah said to the people, “Have a look at your daily life; what do you see? Look into your nation. What do you see in every part of society? Is there prosperity, freedom, peace, and hope? If not, do you understand the reasons for it? Will you make a difference?”
Looking at our mistakes leads us to our knees. While we look at those things, the fear of the LORD can talk to our heart, and redemption is set free.
GOD needs us all at that point. There he can give us wisdom and revelation on how we can handle and change the situation. It is never his will that we rest at that point. It is a journey; the LORD always wants to lead us out of the valley. He never leaves us there without any vision or any guidance. Having this in mind and heart, it is our part to ask him for forgiveness for ourselves and our nation.
But that’s not the goal; here we are only at a turning point. Now the LORD can forgive you, heal you, and give you a new perspective. He loves to help you out of the situation and bring you back to your destiny, blessings, and favor.
We like to say that GOD always has the bigger plan. Yes, that is why he will show you how to pray for your nation and the people around you. As in our scripture today, he wants to point out the problem and root out all evil. Before his presence can rest in one life or rest in a nation, there a process of cleansing and purification that must start, so today we give GOD all the honor and glory that only he deserves, and we ask him for forgiveness for all the sins he is revealing to you right now. Pray for wisdom, healing, and anointing to start to be released and that the Holy Spirit can move through and upon you.
Scriptures for today
• You have rejected us, O God, and broken our defenses. You have been angry with us; now restore us to your favor. (Psalms 60:1)
• Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
• Fear of the LORD teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor. (Proverbs 15:33)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for his faithfulness.
• Thank him for his never-ending love and that he never gives us up.
• Pray for forgiveness for those things he has shown you today.
• Declare that the people he showed you will repent and turn their hearts to him.
• Take authority over all evil that GOD had shown you and pray that those sins come to an end now in your nation, that people will repent, and set them free by the power of the blood of Jesus.
• Proclaim the cleansing fire of the Holy Spirit over everything and everyone you prayed for today.
• Pray for a new anointing, inviting the Holy Spirit to fill every place in every soul and life that you conquered today.

4 THE NEW COVENANT
But now I will make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, so that his fierce anger will turn away from us. My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer! The LORD has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, and to lead the people in worship and present offerings to him.” (2 Chronicles 29:10-11)
Now it is the time, as we have broken with the evil things of the past, to renew the covenant with the LORD. GOD always is waiting with open arms to embrace those who want to come back home. the two brothers. The younger took all the inheritance he could get and went his way. When he was so poor, that he didn’t know what to do, he came back. His father wasn’t angry; instead, he celebrated his return. This is the great heart of our GOD almighty. If only one sinner comes back, there is joy in heaven.
Hezekiah explained why it is so important for the kingdom, in our case the Kingdom of Heaven, that we return to the LORD. He has chosen us and everybody on this earth to stand in his presence, minister in his Kingdom, lead the people to worship our GOD, and bring him offerings. There is a great responsibility on everybody, to fulfill the destiny the LORD has given them. So Hezekiah showed us where to start—in our hearts. That is the place where the decision has to grow to obey the LORD and to build a new covenant with him as the beginning of a journey of restoration, healing, and purification.
There are so many scriptures that tell us how GOD wants to heal and restore us. It is not only his will, but he desires to see us free of bondages and to be set free from all false yokes. We must understand that it is not difficult in any way to
make a new covenant with him. We only need a willingness to give him all that went wrong and to start new. We can do that every day. Today we want to pray that all the people who GOD put on your heart and the citizens of your nation make a new covenant with the LORD.
Can you see your nation set free and standing in worship before the LORD? Can you see thousands of people praying and repenting on their knees before him? Do you allow GOD to put this deep within you so you can pray for it? That is an incredible and inspiring picture; it helps us to pray with ion until we see it fulfilled. When our desire and the LORD’s desire come together, the power of the Holy Spirit sets free, hearts get healed, lives become restored, and miracles happen. And for all those things, only he deserves all honor and praise. Today is the day to hear very clear from the LORD things that will change your life forever. Start your new covenant with him today
Scriptures for today
• Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love. Once again you will have comion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean! (Micah 7:18-19)
• “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David. (Isaiah 55:3)
• Let them praise the LORD or his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. (Psalms 107:21)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD, that he always prepares a way for us to return to him.
• Tell him your covenant. What do you want to change with his help and mercy?
• Listen and hear what he wants to tell and give you.
• Proclaim over your life and those the LORD has given you the heavenly destiny to be set free.

5 FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS
These men called together their fellow Levites, and they all purified themselves. Then they began to cleanse the Temple of the LORD, just as the king had commanded. They were careful to follow all the LORD’s instructions in their work. The priests went into the sanctuary of the Temple of the LORD to cleanse it, and they took out to the Temple courtyard all the defiled things they found. From there the Levites carted it all out to the Kidron Valley. (2 Chronicles 29:1516)
The temple was filled with all kinds of false gods. Before the assembly could think of celebrating and offering in Jerusalem, they had a lot of work to do. The presence of the LORD will never rest beneath idols and unclean things. So it was very important on their journey with GOD, as it is for us, to be obedient and remove all waste. After our return, GOD shows us what is broken. We started to pray for healing in the last chapter; the LORD will continue to speak to you about what he sees and what has to be healed and cleansed.
It is written that they were careful to follow all instructions. So it is for us. If there are bad habits, real idols in our life, or bondages of the past in our bloodline, it is important to follow all instructions carefully. Everything must be pulled out step by step. But not only out of our life but also out of our nation. Many things in our country displease the LORD and make him angry. So if we want to see his helping hand and unfailing love work in our midst, we have to clean up our temple first and then our nation. He needs our obedience so that he can bless our life and our nation.
Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we have to purify ourselves as the
Levites did. After that, purification has to follow in every part of our nation. Whatever the LORD shows you that is not pleasing him, pray that it comes under his will and order. God will not show you every sin for your prayer time; instead, he will point out for you what is important for today. As in our lives, so it is in the country. Everything that came in from other cultures, religions, and systems, must be cleaned out. If everyone is praying on the part the LORD gives him, together it works like a great scrubbing brush. Great cleansing and purifying will bring a whole country back to the Father’s heart. That’s how awakening should look like.
, they were obedient and careful to follow all instructions. We have to be careful to follow all instructions the Holy Spirit gives us. Sometimes we would do things in a different order, but he knows exactly what is the most critical point for you today. It honors the LORD and opens up a way of blessing if we very carefully cleanse our life.
Scriptures for today
• This is what I told them: ‘Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!’ (Jeremiah 7:23)
• “If you fully obey the LORD our God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD our God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD our God. (Deuteronomy 28:2)
But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrificesor your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams. (1 Samuel 15:22)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for his promised blessings on your obedience.
• Ask him for help to be obedient until everything is done.
• Bring everything before the LORD that he has shown you.
• Proclaim cleansing and purification over every part of your life by the power of the blood of JESUS.
• Loose yourself through the power of JESUS from any yoke of the past and any curse caused by your family bloodline.
• Take communion and pray the same points for your nation.

6 PURIFY THE TEMPLE
They began the work in early spring, on the first day of the new year, and in eight days they had reached the entry room of the LORD’s Temple. Then they purified the Temple of the LORD itself, which took another eight days. So the entire task was completed in sixteen days. (2 Chronicles 29:17)
Now it is time to purify the temple. You may think, we did it. Yes and no, at the same time. GOD never asks too much of us. In his deep grace, he reveals step by step what has to be done. So when the house is clean, you like to decorate it; do you agree? First, you pull out the waste; second, you cleanse everything, and the third is decorating. The result is a stunning home everybody likes. In this same way, the LORD works with us. First, we pulled out everything we no longer need. Second, we cleansed our life and prayed for the nation. Now is the time to go deeper. GOD always wants pure and holy children, so we must purify ourselves. GOD wants to heal our souls, restore our lives, and set us free to walk in our destiny. To accomplish that, we have to change our minds. As it is written in Romans 12:2:
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
It is a process, but we can start or restart it today. As long as we are human beings living on this earth, we will always have situations in which we have to that scripture. Our soul must obey our spirit and learn that the command center in our life is no longer the soul, but our spirit. A shift has taken place at the moment when we let those verses come alive. We will learn, did you
see it? This is a process, but we get more and more healed and purified when we follow it consistently. You may ask yourself, why do I say healed? From the perspective of the heavens, our sins and those of our ancestors have left wounds in our souls. These wounds are like a mark on our souls, and GOD wants to remove them; therefore, we need his healing power. These marks lead us repeatedly to wrong decisions or separate us from a deeper understanding of his word. To enter into our destiny, he has prepared everything for us; it is important to be healed and restored in every little corner of our soul. We are not perfect by ourselves, but we are perfectly planned by him. To get closer to his presence, to become the one he saw before the beginning of the world, our temple has to be purified. He is interested in our soul and character, so today we lay the focus on our temple: our body, soul, and mind. We give him all the bad experiences, the sorrows and problems we are faced at the moment right now, and all traumas or curses that lay on your family.
Scriptures for today
• So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. (James 1:21)
• Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. (3 John 2)
• God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. (1 Corinthians 1:30)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for your Salvation, your renewed life, and your new heart.
• Ask for forgiveness for everything, that he has revealed to you today.
• Lay everything down at the cross, that GOD reveals to you.
• Proclaim his healing power over your life, soul, mind, and body.
• Pray for wisdom to grow into your destiny—your spiritual inheritance.
• Thank the LORD that he made it possible for us to get rid of sin and live under his will in perfect freedom.
• Declare your spirit as ruler over your life and tell your soul that it must obey.

7 PURIFIED & READY TO USE
Then the Levites went to King Hezekiah and gave him this report: “We have cleansed the entire Temple of the LORD, the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the table of the Bread of the Presence with all its utensils. We have also recovered all the items discarded by King Ahaz when he was unfaithful and closed the Temple. They are now in front of the altar of the LORD, purified and ready for use.” (2 Chronicles 29:18-19)
What are our vessels that are maybe broken because of our former lifestyle? What could these be in our life? Have you ever thought about them? Maybe you know them very well!
The Levites had it a bit easier than we today. They saw what was broken, pulled it out of the temple, and started their cleansing process. Everything was before their eyes. If we look carefully into our lives, we will also see the things that don’t work in the heavenly order. Many things cannot just be pulled out. If you are perhaps divorced, as I am, you can’t pull out the divorce, and everything is fine. You are confronted with the consequences of it every day. So what is our part of cleansing? In the case of a divorce, we have to pray for our kids. We must bring them under the blood of Jesus, break the yoke of divorce on our behalf and over them so they are free of the generational curse. We can pray that they will never experience the same as we have and for their souls to experience GOD as their Father, who heals their soul and sets them free to live their God-given destiny. We also pray for ourselves that what we have experienced is healed so we can move forward in freedom and peace with the LORD and never step again into a false relationship. At the same time, we can plant the little tree “relationship” and ask the LORD to bring that person he has destined for us into our life.
We can pray over everything that was under any curse in the past and was broken and destroyed. We proclaim the healing power of GOD; his blessing and restoration is our inheritance that Jesus paid for.
Whatever is broken in your life, bring today that broken piece before the LORD, which seems today to be the most important. The LORD will show it to you; you only need to trust him, and his healing anointing will flow through your body, mind, and soul. Look at that puzzle piece from every perspective from yours and from those who were involved. Pray over that piece, taking the time for yourself and letting the Holy Spirit work in you. Lay your sorrow and pain down at the cross. Don’t take it back; Jesus paid for your healing and freedom. His greatest desire is to set you free, which is why he died. When he was on the cross, his heart broke over your pain; take his deed of love for you! When you grow in this consciousness, you will see how every part of your life gets more and more purified through his power and love.
Scriptures for today
• If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. (2 Timothy 2:21)
• Then each of you will know how to possess his own vessel and live in holiness and honor (1 Thessalonians 4:4)
• God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. (1 Corinthians 3:17)
Prayer-points for today
• Bring your puzzle piece and let the Holy Spirit talk to you.

8 DESCENDANTS OF AARON
Early the next morning King Hezekiah gathered the city officials and went to the Temple of the LORD. They brought seven bulls, seven rams, and seven male lambs as a burnt offering, together with seven male goats as a sin offering for the kingdom, for the Temple, and for Judah. The king commanded the priests, who were descendants of Aaron, to sacrifice the animals on the altar of the LORD. (2 Chronicles 29:20-21)
Only the descendants of Aaron could sacrifice the animals, and by their ministry and worship to God, they were able to remove the sins of the people. So many animals died, but sin was not deleted—it was not possible to remove sin from their midst. The sacrifices worked only for a short period of time. Also, it was in the days of Hezekiah a day of redundancy. The next sacrifice was necessary to stay in that holiness.
We are so privileged to live after the death of Jesus. His sacrifice made us pure and holy if we believe that he died and rose from death. His sacrifice was heartbreaking and heart-healing at the same time. In Psalm 69:21, scripture tells us that Jesus died from his broken heart. His sacrifice endures forever; his love never ends, and the healing and purifying power that was released through his death have no end. Everything man can do to please GOD is just for a moment, but what Jesus did endures forever.
Today we will focus on the truth that GOD has prepared everything, so that we can live whole before him. Everything we do should come in alignment with his will and purpose for our life. Although we do not need to sacrifice animals, the LORD will show us the kind of sacrifice he wants from us personally. He will
lay it on your heart. Maybe it is to serve and help a special kind of people Celebrate your new freedom in him maybe you should serve kids or elderly people, or maybe you should Kingdom projects with your finances— whatever it is, commit yourself to that sacrifice, and pray that it will bear eternal fruit.
Through the blood of Jesus, we stepped into eternal life, which is’ why our focus should be on eternity. What kind of deads and sacrifices will ultimately matter? Only those that are inspired by the Holy Spirit. At another point, scripture says that the best sacrifice we can bring is obedience towards him; that’s true worship in his eyes. So today we thank GOD for Jesus, and we thank Jesus for his unbelievable love and obedience towards the Father and us. And we thank Jesus that he sent us the Holy Spirit so that we can grow into our heavenly inheritance and live our life with him. We thank him that he made it possible, through this one sacrifice that took all forever, to live a life in the presence of the LORD: cleansed, holy, and purified. One sacrifice that changed the whole world forever, and nobody can make it better or add anything.
Scriptures for today
• Every high priest is a man chosen to represent other people in their dealings with God. He presents their gifts to God and offers sacrifices for their sins. And he is able to deal gently with ignorant and wayward people because he himself is subject to the same weaknesses. That is why he must offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as theirs. (Hebrews 5: 1-3)
• Unlike those other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices every day. They did this for their own sins first and then for the sins of the people. But Jesus did this once for all when he offered himself as the sacrifice for the people’s sins. (Hebrew 7:27)
For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time. (Hebrew 10:10)

9 TAKE YOUR POSITION
King Hezekiah then stationed the Levites at the Temple of the LORD with cymbals, lyres, and harps. He obeyed all the commands that the LORD had given to King David through Gad, the king’s seer, and the prophet Nathan. The Levites then took their positions around the Temple with the instruments of David, and the priests took their positions with the trumpets. (2 Chronicles 29:25-26)
Everybody has a great calling from GOD whether you take your position in the Kingdom of GOD or not. It is our responsibility to answer GOD’s calling. He will never trick you into something. He is patient and faithful. But if you don’t react to his calling, who should fill your position? GOD made us unique. There is no copy of you out of there who could do your job. When you open up your scripture, you find so many different personalities, and each of them has a special calling, an individual life, lifestyle, and relationship to the Father. That is so amazing to me each time I think about it. Wouldn't it have been so much easier for GOD to just create us as puppets with an obedient spirit? He could have done that, but he didn't want it. He said at the beginning in Genesis 1:26, let us make man in our image, and let them have complete authority. He created us for extraordinary work and created in his image means to have our own will. So he lays the responsibility to step into our inheritance and our calling into our hands. He trusts us, that if we live with him, that we will make the right decisions and fulfill our destiny.
Have a look at 1. Corinthians 13 and what he says about love: love is patient and kind, endures long. This is how the Father watches us although his heart is longing for us and Jesus’ heart is burning for us. He has given you special gifts and a unique character, and think about whatever you define; everything is extraordinary. Our part is to react in obedience to this great love. We must
understand, that everything he has planned for us, comes out of a loving heart— a heart that holds nothing back, not even his only beloved son. So how can we be able not to respond?
Our calling is holy; it is an honor and a privilege to live in his favor. We must understand this with our heart, not with our mind. Obedience to his love is protection for our lives and many others. What would have happened if Hananias hadn’t prayed for Saul? What if Saul couldn't be transformed from Saul to Paul? How many millions of people couldn't read his letters until today?
Too often we look only at our calling from our little point of view. But GOD has put you as a special stone into a great wall. Your life will affect so many others for the good or the bad. Today, make the decision to stay obedient in your calling and respond to the Fathers’ love with the best sacrifice you can ever bring—your love for him!
Scriptures for today
• Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord. (Colossians 3:22)
• And no one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was. (Hebrew 5:4)
All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church: first are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, then those who do miracles, those who have the gift of healing, those who can help others, those who have the gift of leadership, those who speak in unknown languages. (1 Corinthians 12:27 28)

• Confess today, that you will take your position in the Kingdom of heaven.
• Thank the Father for his love and patience and the fantastic way he has prepared for you.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to help you walk in your calling every day—lifelong.

• Pray for revelation and wisdom to use your gifts in every area of your life.
• Pray that GOD will send you the right people who will help you grow in your calling.

10 BOW DOWN TO WORSHIP
Then Hezekiah ordered that the burnt offering be placed on the altar. As the burnt offering was presented, songs of praise to the LORD were begun, accompanied by the trumpets and other instruments of David, the former king of Israel. The entire assembly worshiped the LORD as the singers sang and the trumpets blew, until all the burnt offerings were finished. Then the king and everyone with him bowed down in worship. (2 Chronicles 29:27-28)
The most important thing in life that will endure forever is your worship. in Revelation, it is written that we all will worship GOD forever. The angels that give him praise and surround him and Jesus told us that we should love GOD wholeheartedly. There is a time for everything: for bringing your sorrows, for telling him your needs and those of others. There is a time to cleanse you from ancient sins and yokes, but there will be more time to have fellowship with your Father in heaven. A loving heart has no other choice than to worship the LORD. Telling him what he means to you will set your heart free. Your loving Father has prepared a lot for you, and those things will be opened up for you if you spend enough time in worship. In many scriptures, GOD tells us that power is in his joy. It is in his presence where we can forget all circumstances.
A few years ago, I was at a conference, and the speaker said to us: If you want to bring your sorrows to GOD, first worship the LORD; if you have any need, first worship the LORD; if you want to pray for someone, first worship the LORD. Whatever you have, whatever you need, first worship the LORD!
It is a lifestyle. Worship touches the heart of the Father because you take time for
him, and everything else comes second.
King David practiced it. In his darkest hours, wherever he was and whatever he experienced, he worshiped the LORD. GOD loves to give us more than we expect if we spend time and worship him.
All the things that sometimes speak loudly, as we desire to worship GOD, get silenced in his presence. Everything that tortures us loses its power, and all that's blocking our mind must go in his presence. Worship is like a secret recipe to bring your relationship with God to another level, to focus on what is important in our lives, and to set all our needs free. Whatever it is, healing, finances, relationships, or friendships, deciding to put GOD in his deserved place brings your life in alignment with him and his will. Everything comes into its correct order and spiritual fog must go. Sometimes it takes a while to arrange different things. What is important is the decision in your heart that releases the way and the process.
There is another point we often forget. If we set GOD in his place and solve our problems in worship times, people around us will see it and get a deep desire to know GOD as we do.
Scriptures for today
• They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God’s adopted children. God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises. (Romans 9:4)
• And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12:1)
• God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) (Ephesians 2:4-5)
Prayer-points for today

11 BRING YOUR THANKSGIVING
King Hezekiah and the officials ordered the Levites to praise the LORD with the psalms written by David and by Asaph the seer. So they offered joyous praise and bowed down in worship. Then Hezekiah declared, “Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD, bring your sacrifices and thanksgiving offerings to the Temple of the LORD.” So the people brought their sacrifices and thanksgiving offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings, too. (2 Chronicles 29:29-31)
Yesterday you committed yourself to become a worshiper. And today, the LORD will put something into your heart that is for you an offering and true worship to him. Thanksgiving is not only a sign of love to your Father; it is also a heart opener for ourselves. We can prove how much the LORD and the Kingdom of GOD mean to us. In our thanksgiving, we show only GOD and nobody else how near we want to come to him. Thanksgiving can mean so much. We may first think about finances, but there is so much more. Thanksgiving can also be to stop an old habit because GOD is telling you to do. Thanksgiving can be to forgive somebody and help that person to come into a relationship with the Father. Your true worship is your obedience to the Father, and whatever he is telling you in your worship time, through dreams or visions, or even when you read your Bible, just do it. Through your obedience, so many others will get blessed.
Most of the time, we don't have the understanding that our obedience is directly connected with other lives, especially with their destiny and calling in the Kingdom of GOD. But it is the truth. If it is important to GOD that you should serve a person, then do it. GOD says, that his ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours. That’s the reason why we don’t know how many lives depend on our obedience or disobedience. Often GOD asks you for little things, and we
don’t get the importance behind it.
My beloved example of obedience is Hananiah. Jesus told him to go to Saul and lay hands on him that he could see again after being blind for three days. With his deep insight into the spiritual realm, even the Apostle Paul couldn’t imagine how many lives would be directly affected by this. Have you ever tried to imagine how many people have read the letters written by Paul in the new testament? You never will know how important your obedience is until you have done what GOD has called you to do. As long as people live on this earth, somebody somewhere will be reading one of these scriptures. In Paul's case, he will see the fullness of his fruit after the second coming of Jesus.
Although not everybody’s life will produce such an immense amount of fruit, to be faithful is the best worship, and being obedient the best way of celebrating our King and Savoir.
Scriptures for today
• But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God. (Psalms 50:23)
• Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving. For this will please the LORD more than sacrificing cattle, more than presenting a bull with its horns and hooves. (Psalms 69:30-31)
• I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

12 PURIFY THE PRIESTS
But there were too few priests to prepare all the burnt offerings. So their relatives the Levites helped them until the work was finished and more priests had been purified, for the Levites had been more conscientious about purifying themselves than the priests had been. There was an abundance of burnt offerings, along with the usual liquid offerings, and a great deal of fat from the many peace offerings. So the Temple of the LORD was restored to service. And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of what God had done for the people, for everything had been accomplished so quickly. (2 Chronicles 29:3436)
Whenever we allow the LORD to reveal to us his ways and will, and we follow them in obedience, we will be surprised by how many things we can accomplish in a very short time. GOD always works very strategically and efficiently. Our success is predestined if we are obedient. Sometimes the enemy tries to tell us the opposite, and circum-stances underline his lies. So we often come into that place of discouragement and start to look at ourselves as if we had done something wrong. The opposite is the truth.
In our scripture today, we see there was so much to do, but all of them had the same aim—to finish what GOD had told them to do.
Together, united in him, we can solve the biggest problems and activate the most incredible promises. The only thing GOD needs is our “yes” to his plan. If we live holy and pure before him, he will lift us to places we have never thought about. Our obedience and thanksgiving open doors nobody will ever be able to close. As the people in today’s scripture were filled with heavenly joy, so will we
be filled with a joy that overcomes negativity and discouragement. In moments of joy, we see better and experience the goodness and how great GOD is. GOD gave them success because they were completely in alignment with his will. In that way, they started to purify themselves.
That is something we have to watch carefully. GOD always points to how important it is to live a pure life. So if you want to please the LORD, those verses. Jesus says to us that we must be holy because he is holy. Only with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can live this life. Scripture tells us that our body is a temple, so to prevail, it is necessary to know GOD’s perspective of us as believers—of our body, soul, and mind.
When we take communion, the blood of Jesus cleanses us, redeems us, heals us, and makes the way to the Father’s heart. Jesus took everything at the cross; there is nothing we could do to accomplish it or make it even better. Today we take communion and thank Jesus for his unfailing love and obedience, and we proclaim the power of his blood over us, our family, and our nation to become purified through him.
Scriptures for today
• But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy. (1 Peter 1:1516)
• But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth. (1 John 2:20)
• You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart. (1 Peter 1:22)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank Jesus that he was crucified and took all sins upon himself for you, your family, and your nation.
• Ask the LORD for more revelation about communion and deeper insight.
• Pray that healing, redemption, and purification will take place in your life.
• Buy refined gold, tested by fire to be truly wealthy, white clothes that shame and nudity will be taken away from you, and get salve for your eyes so you can see clearly.

13 OVER - PREPARATION
King Hezekiah now sent word to all Israel and Judah, and he wrote letters of invitation to the people of Ephraim and Manasseh. He asked everyone to come to the Temple of the LORD at Jerusalem to celebrate the over of the LORD, the God of Israel. The king, his officials, and all the community of Jerusalem decided to celebrate over a month later than usual. (2 Chronicles 30:1-2)
The first over was given by GOD to Moses when the people of Israel had to move from Egypt to their promised Land. The blood of innocent lambs was painted at the doorframes to keep the angel of death away. In that way, GOD protected his people; they were saved through the power of the blood.
What Moses did was a prophetic sign of what Jesus fulfilled on the cross. He made the perfect sacrifice so that never again must someone die. There were so many offerings in ancient times, but not a single one was perfect although the people tried hard to fulfill all commandments of GOD.
For us today as a believer, it is sometimes hard to understand that in one death everything was solved. There is no other solution coming. There are no more sacrifices. Jesus, if we believe in him, if we honor his death on the cross and his resurrection, keeps us free from death. Our soul is set free, and we will live with GOD and Jesus forever. That’s what the cross is all about. We belong no longer to the kingdom of darkness; Jesus paid for us with his blood. over and communion, if we celebrate them seriously, honor GOD for what he did for us. The Israelites until today that GOD took them out of Egypt.
We celebrate communion to thank Jesus for what he did. At the same time as we celebrate it, the resurrection power that raised Jesus from death is released over our life. We step into all that this power is releasing—healing for our souls, liberty from curses and bondages, healing in our relationship to our Father, and restoration in broken areas of our life. We see GOD move above our circumstances and get in alignment with his timeline and his will for our life. Whether we understand it or not, communion is so much more than bread and wine. Jesus tells us that if we eat his flesh, what is represented through the bread, and drink the wine, which represents his blood, we will remain in him. John 6:55, For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
Staying in him gives us the strength to resist all temptation, as Jesus overcame all evil, so we can by living under his protection. Jesus gave us communion to be protected just as the Israelites were. Nothing can separate us from the loving Father; nothing but our disobedience can bring us out of his protection. Today we want to pray about the body and blood of life to come alive in our life.
Scriptures for today
• Take special care of this chosen animal until the evening of the fourteenth day of this first month. Then the whole assembly of the community of Israel must slaughter their lamb or young goat at twilight. They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the sides and top of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the animal. (Exodus 12:6-7)
• After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you. (Luke 22:20)
• For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again. (1 Corinthians 11:26)

14 RETURN TO THE LORD
At the king’s command, runners were sent throughout Israel and Judah. They carried letters that said: “O people of Israel, return to the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, so that he will return to the few of us who have survived the conquest of the Assyrian kings. Do not be like your ancestors and relatives who abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, and became an object of derision, as you yourselves can see. (2 Chronicles 30:6-7)
Hezekiah was so full of ion for his God that he wanted everybody to return to GOD. Scripture says in Matthew 12:34, For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. Hezekiah loved his GOD, so he made a command that everybody should return to the LORD Almighty. He warned his people not to behave as their ancestors did. He again showed them the results of their disobedience. It is important to become aware of the consequences disobedience and sin have. That’s the only way to understand why you are at the place or in the situation in which you are right now. The same applies to nations. If a nation, represented by its leaders, decides more and more to delete GOD’s commands, it is impossible to see GOD’s presence manifest for national blessings. The leaders have no wisdom and reign in their agenda, they think, but they open up more and more the doors for the darkness in reality. As a result, GOD’s protection is not there. That does not mean that a believer can’t experience GOD’s presence in his own life, but it is like in the days of Noah. GOD cannot lead the whole nation; he cannot fulfill what is written in the books of life in heaven. Jesus told us, that we should pray on earth as it is in heaven - Matthew 6:10 because all that GOD has planned is already written there. Our job is to activate it—to release the command as Hezekiah did. Why is it so important? Because freedom and liberty are born in prayer times, not on the desk of any king or ruler. We pray so that they can decide for peace and liberty. To get a great breakthrough, many need to return to the LORD and agree, united in prayer, before the LORD. Yes, it starts with one pure heart, but to turn the way of a nation around, people must agree as
well as return to the LORD. That is why Jesus’ heart was broken on the cross; that’s what he died for. He prepared the way for every nation to return to the Father’s heart. It is our part to pray it down from heaven to earth so that people can change their lives, can become free, and pray for others to become free. The Kingdom of God is never working with only one person. GOD gives you one thing to start, but then others come to build it up. As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 3:7, there is one who is sowing the word, one who is giving water, and GOD who gives the growth. All together we are the Kingdom of GOD, one body of Christ with many different limbs and different functions. Where two or three come together as one.
Scriptures for today
• Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? (Romans 2:4)
• The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9)
• Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)

15 WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD
Do not be stubborn, as they were, but submit yourselves to the LORD. Come to his Temple, which he has set apart as holy forever. Worship the LORD your God so that his fierce anger will turn away from you. (2 Chronicles 30:8)
In those days, a lot of sin and darkness were seen and working among the people of Israel. The consequence was the fierce anger of the LORD. GOD is justice, and where injustice reigns, he cannot be because he is holy.
That’s the reason why Hezekiah tells his people not to be stubborn but instead to turn around, take the chance, and submit themselves to the LORD.
Hezekiah wanted his whole people to worship the LORD. That’s where you can see that he faithfully had committed himself to the LORD. He hated what GOD hates, and loved what GOD loves. It is the same today. People who really love the LORD have no other choice than to love what he loves, but also to hate what he hates. ion is the most attractive thing we can have if we want to see GOD move in our life. Jesus said in Revelation that it’s better to be cold or hot, but never to be lukewarm. That’s what he absolutely hates. Do you know why? A lukewarm person never makes clear decisions. The answers you get are always “maybe.” With those persons, it is very difficult to move forward. You never know when the next “maybe” is coming. It hurts Jesus. He gave everything, and his decision was very clear: I will do, what the Father wants me to do! With this decision, he died and rescued all of us. His burning heart for the Father and this world made him obedient. We should never forget this. GOD needs us to have burning hearts for him; only then can we understand his commands. Only then can we endure until the end although we think we cannot.
A burning heart will lead us into worship in times when our soul doesn’t want to. It helps us out of confusion or hopeless situations. When we are obedient in such times, it moves the heart of the Father. As Hezekiah said, “GOD will take his anger away.” Blessing is released at the moment we return to him. So it is for a nation. GOD is already there, with open arms and a helping hand right at that moment when we return. He is not coming later or sometimes; he is there, waiting on us. Think about Jacob; he lay down to sleep and dreamed. He didn’t know that GOD was so present and moving with him, but he saw GOD standing on the top of the ladder in his dream. GOD was just there.
Whenever and wherever we return, he is there. So today we focus on the return of our nation. I want to see like Jacob that GOD is already there to move circumstances. In every political system and under every government, GOD can bring redemption and move hearts to worship him. It is not only pleasing to the LORD if we worship him, it is a mighty weapon to set people free and to establish liberty.

16 GRACIOUS & MERCIFUL
“For if you return to the LORD, your relatives and your children will be treated mercifully by their captors, and they will be able to return to this land. For the LORD our God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.” (2 Chronicles 30:9)
GOD loves to help us out of any difficult time. But more than that, he loves to bless not only us but our children and the children of our children. GOD always thinks about family structures, family lines, and generations. He has the past generations in his view as well as the ones. That’s why he knows very well what our ancestors did, what we should do, and what he has prepared for those who are to come. For us, it is sometimes unclear where we came from. In the industrial world, where families have lost more and more of their influence on society and where many people only know their parents and grandparents, the earlier generations are no longer in view. This becomes a problem when GOD is speaking to us about generational curses—things, that our ancestors did that we don't know about. These things still afflict our life and behavior and that of our children.
It is so important that we turn wholeheartedly to GOD, not only so we get healed, blessed, and restored, but for the next generations. There is a great responsibility that we can take care of when we cleanse our life. Our life, obedience to GOD, and return to his commands are not just private things. GOD has connected our life with many others. We are connected with people and destinies to build the Kingdom of GOD.
Peter says we are like living stones that build up a holy, spiritual house. If one
stone is missing in the wall, it is missing. Our destiny is unique, and in the way that GOD has planned for us, nobody can do what we are intended to do. If someone else takes our responsibility, it is not the same. We have to be careful to get the bigger perspective from above.
GOD is always waiting for us with open arms; he welcomes us and is merciful and gracious to us. We can prepare a way for the generations that they can walk in, blessed and treated with mercy because we have built a new covenant with the LORD.
Today we want to start a new path for the next generation through our turnaround in every area of our life. But not only we! We want to pray for the great turnaround of our nation, that GOD will draw all to him so they can realize who he is, how he loves them, and how much he has prepared for them since the beginning of the world. And we want to see lives changed by his power, his love, and the power of redemption. A nation can turn around, in each part of society, each family, each school, each company, and each government. It is on us, to set all of this free!
Scriptures for today
• So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. (Hebrew 4:16)
• All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, (1 Peter 1:3)
May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love. (Jude 1:2)

• Thank GOD for his mercy and grace for everyone and pray that he draws your generation to himself.
• Pray that everybody in your generation, living in your nation, will turn around to GOD.
• Proclaim the captives to be free, break the bondages over your generation in the mighty name of JESUS.

17 GOD GAVE THEM ONE HEART
The runners went from town to town throughout Ephraim and Manasseh and as far as the territory of Zebulun. But most of the people just laughed at the runners and made fun of them. However, some people from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and went to Jerusalem. At the same time, God’s hand was on the people in the land of Judah, giving them all one heart to obey the orders of the king and his officials, who were following the word of the LORD. (2 Chronicles 30:10-12)
Did you see what happened? Some people laughed at the king and his command. But not only against the king, but also against GOD. In that second, when you turn around to GOD, when you start a new life with him, your surroundings become divided. The one will also follow GOD and his commands, and the others will laugh at you and your stupid GOD. A society that is so far away from GOD and thinks that it is silly to follow GOD and his commands will always react by mocking you. People cannot understand the principles of heaven until they search for the LORD. As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 1:18, I know very well how foolish the message of the cross sounds to those who are on the road to destruction.
But good news, GOD prepared for those a way, too. And you never know when they will turn around because they see you living blessed and protected. As always, there are some people whose hearts turn to GOD. GOD never gives up, and neither should we. There is so much joy in heaven when only one is turning to GOD—how much more when a whole generation is turning around.
On the other hand, God gave those who were in Judah a heart to obey his
commands. That’s what JESUS was praying about in John 17, when he asked the Father, to give us one heart.
Sometimes people think that to be one, as JESUS prayed, is to agree on every point with others or to have the same opinion about different subjects. In our scripture today, we see something different. We see people obeying GOD by following his commands, and GOD himself is giving them one heart. They had the same aim, not the same opinion. There is a huge difference. It was not possible to make it by themselves; GOD gave them one heart. No one can “make” you one heart with someone else; only the LORD can do it. And if he does, there is a special reason—the aim is always to build up his Kingdom. JESUS prayed about how close he wants to have us with him and with the Father. But this was not enough for him. He also prayed that we will be united with all believers in him and the Father. JESUS was so ionate about it; his heart really desires disciples who want to have a close relationship. Best of all, JESUS desires to see love growing between his disciples, so the world can see that they belong to him.
Scriptures for today
• I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. (John 17:21)
• I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. (John 17:22)
• I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. (John 17:23)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for everybody whose heart turned to GOD
• Pray for all those who couldn't follow GOD’s calling—that they will be touched by the lifestyle of the righteous one.
• Proclaim that the righteous ones will follow GOD’s command and that they will hear his voice and see his goodness.
• Confess that the righteous ones will be one in GOD with JESUS, as JESUS prayed in John 17.
• Ask the LORD, that he will touch people’s lives with his love so that they can follow his commands.
• Proclaim that the prayer of JESUS will come alive! That the world will see, who belongs to GOD because of their love for each other!

18 REMOVE ALL INCENSE ALTARS
So a huge crowd assembled at Jerusalem in mid-spring to celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread. They set to work and removed the pagan altars from Jerusalem. They took away all the incense altars and threw them into the Kidron Valley. (2 Chronicles 30:13-14)
What a wonderful day; what a happy day when many people return to the LORD! There is joy in every little corner of the country. Imagine, from every little village, people came to celebrate the LORD in Jerusalem. When so many people come together, intending to celebrate the LORD, to be honest, I want to be there at once! The atmosphere in Jerusalem must have been amazing. Everyone was bringing something for the temple as an offering or present; everybody helped to make the festival unforgettable. This joy is a great power that helps to overcome all obstacles that might come, to climb over every doubt in your heart, and to increase your trust in the LORD Almighty.
That’s the point where GOD can increase in you new strength, wisdom, and acknowledgment. You start to love what GOD loves and hate what GOD hates. Suddenly you know from the deepest depth of your heart, what is right and what is wrong. Nobody has to explain to you why you should remove all the pagan altars from your home. The second step is that GOD shows you all the incense altars in your nation, and maybe he wants you to remove some of them. Not everything can be removed; sometimes these altars are monuments or even buildings. In some nations, there are so many incense altars that you can’t count them. What you can do is to pray that the people no longer adore them and that they lose their importance. You also can pray that GOD will send you others with whom you can pray.
In Jerusalem, it seemed to be easy. The people were removing all the incense altars together—GOD gave them one heart. He can do the same in your nation. He can bring people together and unite them so that they work with one heart. what JESUS told us: ”Where two or three unite in his name...” So we are to unite in prayer times in his name and pray that the Holy Spirit gives us one heart to pray with one heart.
To cleanse your nation from all the pagan altars, to throw them out of your country, there must be a heart’s desire in every believer. GOD can only bless us in the great measure he has planned and prepared if we do our part and remove everything that's working against him and his Kingdom. Our obedience toward the LORD will be our testimony to the world. People will give glory to the LORD when they see that we live for him without any compromise, that our belief is trustworthy, and that we love him with ion. This will convince our surroundings and honor the LORD.
Scriptures for today
• For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! (Ephesians 5:8)
• But everyone knows that you are obedient to the Lord. This makes me very happy. I want you to be wise in doing right and to stay innocent of any wrong. (Romans 16:19)
• As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. (2 Corinthians 9:13)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for all the feasts of the LORD that he also gave to us and for the great joy he gives when we come together to celebrate him.
• Pray that your generation will learn again to reunite in him with one heart
• Proclaim that the Holy Spirit will fill every place where believers come together to celebrate him
• Loose your generation in your nation from all the pagan altars. Break through the power of the Holy Spirit, all bondages and curses of your generation.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to fill all the empty places, so that the people can come into his presence and celebrate the LORD.
• Thank the LORD for the destiny of your nation to be set free.

19 BE SET APART FOR THE LORD
On the fourteenth day of the second month, one month later than usual, the people slaughtered the over lamb. This shamed the priests and Levites, so they purified themselves and brought burnt offerings to the Temple of the LORD. Then they took their places at the Temple as prescribed in the Law of Moses, the man of God. The Levites brought the sacrificial blood to the priests, who then sprinkled it on the altar. Since many of the people had not purified themselves, the Levites had to slaughter their over lamb for them, to set them apart for the LORD. (2 Chronicles 30:15-17)
The priests and Levites were ashamed because they couldn't finish their work in time. , they deleted and removed every incense altar, and that was a lot to accomplish. So it took them four weeks to cleanse the city of Jerusalem. They were so filled with ion for the LORD that they were ashamed to come too late for the over. So they purified themselves again.
Have you ever been too busy for the Kingdom of GOD that you came too late to him? Maybe at first, you thought: but they were working for the LORD, what what's wrong with this? They felt in their hearts that they came too late. GOD was waiting on them, but they had been too busy with their work.
But after they had purified themselves, they took their positions, and they took responsibility for the people who hadn't purified themselves. They helped all the people who came to the temple to set themselves apart for the LORD.
Today we can stay as intercessors behind the people. JESUS gave us the right to pray as priests and kings. When we see how the priests and Levites took responsibility for the people, we can use them as an example. There was no doubt that all the people who hadn't purified themselves needed help. The priests not only took responsibility for the people but also before GOD. Absolutely aware of their position and their tasks, they rescued the celebration of over; otherwise many people wouldn't have been able to take part.
JESUS has placed us as priests and kings; that´s the reason why we have the same responsibility for those people who aren't able to purify themselves. Maybe they are bound by old curses of their ancestors; maybe their own sin has blinded and confused them, or maybe sickness is holding them back because they can’t see a helping, loving Father in their lives. At this point, GOD is calling his priests to pray for those people and to proclaim peace, freedom, and liberty through the blood of JESUS over their lives. GOD wants to touch everybody, but he does not build up his Kingdom alone, although he could. He involves you and me in the process; on our way we receive more strength and a deeper relationship with him, and at the same time, we take responsibility for his Kingdom. If each of us takes his part, the heavenly Kingdom grows.
Scriptures for today
• So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. (Colossians 1:9)
• Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4)
• As for us, we can’t help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation—a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD that he gave JESUS for you and me and made us his priests and kings.
• Pray for your generation to be cleansed through the blood of JESUS.

20 THE LORD LISTENS
Most of those who came from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun had not purified themselves. But King Hezekiah prayed for them, and they were allowed to eat the over meal anyway, even though this was contrary to the requirements of the Law. For Hezekiah said, “May the LORD, who is good, pardon those who decide to follow the LORD, the God of their ancestors, even though they are not properly cleansed for the ceremony.” And the LORD listened to Hezekiah’s prayer and healed the people. (2 Chronicles 30:18-20)
Most of the people, who came to celebrate had no idea that GOD is holy, and that they couldn't come with their unclean life into his presence. They just came because GOD had worked in their hearts.
Hezekiah knew, that it wouldn't work if people haven't purified themselves. So he prayed to ask the LORD. He also knew the heartbeat of GOD—that he wanted everybody to take part in over. Hezekiah excused his people before the LORD, although it was contrary to the requirements of the law.
Why was it so important that as many people as possible took part in over? , over is the celebration of leaving Egypt, being redeemed and rescued. The Israelites celebrated it as a prophetic sign of the death of JESUS. Only the blood of the lamb without any sin can wash you clean and holy and is the accepted sacrifice.
We can do the same as King Hezekiah. We can pray for people to come into the
LORD’s presence, although they are still bound and haven't purified themselves. The only thing GOD needs is their honest “yes”—their desire to be part of GOD’s Kingdom. As in our scripture, people need open hearts and the clear decision that they want to come to GOD. What we can pray all the time and for everybody is that people stand up in the spirit, learn to pray persistently for everything and everybody, and proclaim freedom, peace, and liberty over them.
We can pray the power of the blood of JESUS over everybody. JESUS came for everybody, and his sacrifice is still working for everyone who accepts him as his savior. So as his priests, we can pray this truth aloud out all the time. In this way, we can clean and purify our nation because the word of GOD never comes back empty. It always bears fruit. Sometimes we only sow and do not see when the little plant starts to grow. This is our part of growing in our trust in the LORD that he will always answer our prayers. There are so many scriptures where GOD tells us that he's already there with his helping hand, love, and guidance if we come to him. He never sleeps or has holidays or has no place for you in his schedule. He is listening to you and answering you; there is no doubt that you will receive your prayer request.
Scriptures for today
• Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. (Ephesians 6:18)
• Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy. (Philipper 1:3-4)
• Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. (Hebrews 7:25)

21 REGARDING YOUR SKILLS
So the people of Israel who were present in Jerusalem joyously celebrated the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days. Each day the Levites and priests sang to the LORD, accompanied by loud instruments. Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites regarding the skill they displayed as they served the LORD. The celebration continued for seven days. Peace offerings were sacrificed, and the people gave thanks to the LORD, the God of their ancestors. (2 Chronicles 30:21-22)
All the people who celebrated in Jerusalem, spent seven days there. What a joy it is when people stay together for seven days. Nobody was working; everybody stayed there. The priests worshiped the LORD every day, and King Hezekiah encouraged them to serve the LORD according to their skills.
GOD gives everybody skills, and Hezekiah did what GOD is doing with us all the time—he encourages us to use all the skills he’s given us.
The heavenly Kingdom needs people who know their skills and use them to bless and serve others: first GOD and second the people. If we obey our Father in heaven and use our skills, others can see not only our testimony but also the grace and goodness of our Father. In this way, the people of Israel followed their king's command and gave thanks to the LORD. Although many of them didn't know the GOD of their ancestors personally, they gave him thanks and peace offerings.
What a perfect example. How many people don't know the GOD of their ancestors in your nation? How many don't know JESUS as their savior and redeemer? But if you use what GOD gives you, they will come and celebrate with you. As Paul and Peter describe it, GOD gave us various spiritual gifts, all of them to establish and build up the Kingdom of GOD. Each of us has enough gifts to accomplish the work GOD gives us to do. Before the world began, GOD placed everything you need in you. It is on you to activate these gifts by using them and serving others. Paul encourages us several times to work on our gifts because we should grow in them.
In GOD’s Kingdom, everything is growing continually but only through our obedience and the use of our skills. For GOD, it is very important how we treat what he gave us, and he wants to see that everything is used for his Kingdom. We can activate our gifts in our prayer time. As priests and kings, we have access to the throne of grace every day and are allowed to minister in the new covenant.
We serve one LORD, although we have different kinds of spiritual gifts. Do you know your gifts? Maybe some of them? And do you use them for the Kingdom? Sometimes we are too busy to recognize, how many valuable gifts GOD gave us. He has enabled us, to serve others in many different ways.
Scriptures for today
• There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. (1 Corinthians 12:4-5)
• He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life. (2 Corinthians 3:6)
• God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. (1 Peter 4:10)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD that he gave everyone skills, destiny, and good things to do.
• Commit yourself to use all of your gifts, always, for the blessing of others.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to activate in you all the gifts you need in the future.
• Pray that the LORD will give you wisdom and knowledge to use them in the right way.
• Thank the LORD that your spiritual gifts will encourage and lift others up as a testimony of his grace.
• Ask the LORD to show you where you can be a blessing in his Kingdom in the future.

22 JOYFUL DANCING
The entire assembly then decided to continue the festival another seven days, so they celebrated joyfully for another week. King Hezekiah gave the people 1,000 bulls and 7,000 sheep and goats for offerings, and the officials donated 1,000 bulls and 10,000 sheep and goats. Meanwhile, many more priests purified themselves. The entire assembly of Judah rejoiced, including the priests, the Levites, all who came from the land of Israel, the foreigners who came to the festival, and all those who lived in Judah. (2 Chronicles 30:23-25)
There was so much joy, that they couldn't stop dancing, rejoicing, and celebrating in the presence of the LORD. They decided to celebrate another week, so as a whole, nobody worked for two weeks.
It is infectious when people celebrate several days; others hear about it and come, too. So it was in those days; there were not only the priests, Levites, and the people of Jerusalem, but people from the land of Israel came. Best of all, foreigners came to the festival, too, as well as those from all over Judah. The city of Jerusalem must have been completely filled. Imagine if people from all over the land would come to the main city of your nation. It would be overflowing. Nobody could drive anywhere; everywhere people would be sitting on the streets, eating together, waiting to bring their sacrifices to the temple, worshiping the LORD together, dancing, and rejoicing together. What an inspiring and refreshing atmosphere. The king gave animals for the sacrifices, and many people brought animals. Everybody was generously giving, and in that way, the festival was an unbelievably brilliant time for all of them.
Today, we are gladly in the position that no more animals have to be sacrificed.
JESUS made the perfect sacrifice. He gave his life, and we honor him, if we celebrate it, every time we come together. Some people take communion and do not allow themselves to speak too loudly. But we must take it joyfully because he has taken our clothes of mourning and has clothed us with joy. This is an endless joy. To be joyful in him is the best medicine we can take; it works for everything.
To be joyful is not a piece of advice; it is written as a command in many scriptures. This is so because joy is a great power that sets us free from selfdoubt and self-condemnation. When filled with joy, you start to plan your future —you get new hope and strength. This strength helps you to overcome all the obstacles you are faced within your daily life. Nehemiah told his people to be joyful although they worked hard and faced their enemies. David wrote a lot about his joy in the LORD and how he got new strength through this. David not only prayed but also danced before the LORD, not thinking about how foolish others found it. He just did it and honored the LORD. We often say, “Where the spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17. That is how David lived, what the people of Israel experienced under the reign of King Hezekiah, and how we should live.
Scriptures for today
• You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy. (Psalms 30:11)
• Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)
• Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. (Ephesians 5:18-19)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for changing your mourning into joy.
• Give him every part of your life as well as any awful situation in which you need his joy to overcome it.
• Proclaim the endless joy of the LORD and in the LORD over your life, health, relationships, finances.

23 GODGOD HEARS YOUR PRAYER
There was great joy in the city, for Jerusalem had not seen a celebration like this one since the days of Solomon, King David’s son. Then the priests and Levites stood and blessed the people, and God heard their prayer from his holy dwelling in heaven. (2 Chronicles 30:26-27)
This celebration was historical; King Hezekiah stepped into the inheritance of his forefather David. Only in the days of David and his son Solomon did the people of Israel celebrate in that huge way together. When you read how many sacrifices Solomon ordered in his first years as king, you will see that he was very generous. Many years later, when the people had nearly forgotten their inheritance, when they didn't the LORD and his desire to live with his people, Hezekiah stood up. He made this amazing celebration possible. It took only one person in the right position, in the right time, to open up the good inheritance—one person who led his whole people back into the presence of the LORD.
When Hezekiah became king, the land was involved in any idolatry you can think of. The land was spiritually in darkness. Pagan altars were under every tree, and the temple was closed. The hand of the LORD was seen nowhere. Many people would say that the people would never return to the LORD. But Hezekiah knew the LORD, had a mindset like Joshua and Caleb, and took responsibility to change the situation step by step. The situation seemed to be hopeless, and without a doubt, it looked like a successless plan.
Scripture gives us here an excellent example that we should never judge a situation based on the circumstances, but from GOD’s perspective. Nothing is
impossible for him if we follow his rules. As Hezekiah saw the great return of his nation, we can see the same. It starts in your heart with the decision to establish his Kingdom in your nation! The decision becomes a desire to see him move. GOD can give you a burden for your nation; he wants to work with you.
GOD is always ready to hear and to intervene. He can change every country and every life. The only thing he needs is a person with a heart like Hezekiah. GOD’s unfailing love is always there to solve any problem. The question is, are we ready to hear his voice and obey, doing what he shows us to do?
In our scripture today, we see again that the priests and Levites took on their responsibility to pray for the people. If we as priests do what GOD gives us to do, he is always there to do his part. You never have to wait on his answer because he never ignores your prayer if it comes out of a pure and honest heart. Even more, GOD rejoices over every sinner who comes back and over every believer who is walking in his destiny. He calms all fears and doubts; in this way, he is strengthening and equipping you for your next steps.

24 ION: YOUR GREATST SKILL
When the festival ended, the Israelites who attended went to all the towns of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh, and they smashed all the sacred pillars, cut down the Asherah poles, and removed the pagan shrines and altars. After this, the Israelites returned to their own towns and homes. (2 Chronicles 31:1)
ion is the one thing GOD loves and honors the most. People filled with loving hearts, earnestly seeking the LORD, and truly desiring to serve him are filled with ion. The fruit of a loving heart is ion, and ion enables you to love what GOD loves and hate what he hates. As a result of the celebration, where everybody experienced the presence of the LORD, the people went all over the land, removing everything, that didn’t honor the LORD. They cleaned their land although nobody had told them to. The presence of the LORD speaks for itself. You know suddenly what is right and what is wrong, and you no longer want to provoke the LORD.
Some people worship and adore the creation instead of the creator; some people have built their own god out of stone and wood. But only GOD is worthy to receive all the praise and honor. Scripture tells us very clearly that if we don't remove all the other altars out of our life, we will end up in confusion. Idolatry closes our minds; we see the truth as a lie, and the result is a hardened heart against GOD. The best way to stay safe in him is to worship him alone, to dwell in his presence, and serve him alone. ion for GOD is the best weapon against idolatry. When you worship the LORD, other things have no room. Paul encourages us several times not to worship the things the gentiles do. With his advice and love for the LORD, we will fulfill our destiny.
As always, it is on us to decide, as the people in Israel did, to remove everything that doesn't please the LORD. We no longer belong to this world. Yes, we live on and in it, but we are citizens of an entirely different kingdom. If we examine the way we live, the Holy Spirit can show us what has to be removed. There is no doubt, that we should do this from time to time so that we can see where we stand in our relationship with the LORD.
Our hearts can burn with ion for the LORD if nothing is there to hinder us. Communion and an open mind help us to clean ourselves and hear the voice of GOD. There are many things, that don't please the LORD in our nations, but it is on us to remove them in our prayer time. The LORD will show you what your prayer point for this day is. It is impossible to remove everything alone, but together, united in the spirit, we can accomplish a lot. We always have to have a bigger view; we are not fighting alone. Many others are praying with us to help remove all the pagan altars and shrines in our nation. Before our eyes, we need to have that vision of a cleaned nation.
Scriptures for today
• They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. (Romans 1:25)
• With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused. Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him. (Ephesians 4:17-18)
• Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. (Matthew 3:8)

25 AT THE GATES OF THE TEMPLE
Hezekiah then organized the priests and Levites into divisions to offer the burnt offerings and peace offerings, and to worship and give thanks and praise to the LORD at the gates of the Temple. The king also made a personal contribution of animals for the daily morning and evening burnt offerings, the weekly Sabbath festivals, the monthly new moon festivals, and the annual festivals as prescribed in the Law of the LORD. In addition, he required the people in Jerusalem to bring a portion of their goods to the priests and Levites, so they could devote themselves fully to the Law of the LORD. (2 Chronicles 31:2-4)
Hezekiah organized the people into different divisions not only to offer the offerings but also to worship the LORD at the gates of the temple. The priests and Levites were not allowed to enter through all the gates of the temple. Only the high priest was able to enter the holy of holies.
When Jesus died, the curtain in the temple was divided. There is no longer a hindrance between man and GOD. Jesus says about himself that he is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the way in which we walk; through him, we acknowledge the truth, and with him, we step into eternal life. When the priests offered their thanksgiving and all the other offerings, they also prepared a way for the people. In this way, they could worship the LORD. But their offerings could only prepare the way for that worship-time and not forever. Their service is an example of how our prayer time should be. As David wrote in the Psalms, we enter his gates with worship, which is how we should come before the LORD. Why does he say, enter his gates? Have you ever thought about this? In scripture, there are a lot of windows, gates, doors, and entrances. The LORD says in Malachi, that we should test him and see if he wouldn't open the windows of heaven to bless us. David speaks about the gates which we should
enter by thanksgiving, and JESUS says about himself that he is the door of the sheepfold. In each of these scriptures, there is a purpose; when we enter, our life will be changed. Our position in HIM is to be in his presence, to live as a citizen of heaven here on earth—always with the view from heaven to earth. Peter encourages us to prove that we are really among those who are called because it will open up a protected life in him for us. We face so many different situations and interesting circumstances in our life that it is important to know how to get into a safe and secret place with the LORD. Our Calling is holy, and so many lives depend on our obedience. Many lives depend on how we follow the LORD and how we treat him and his word. Do we allow other things to be more important than him and his word? Are we able to base our life on worship and prayer? Do we know how to strengthen ourselves in him? Others watch us to see if we worship the LORD and if we prepare a way for them or not.
Scriptures for today
• Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalms 100:4)
• Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. (John 10:9)
• So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:10 11)

26 THE POWER OF YOUR FIRST FRUIT
The people of Israel responded immediately and generously by bringing the first of their crops and grain, new wine, olive oil, honey, and all the produce of their fields. They brought a large quantity—a tithe of all they produced. The people who had moved to Judah from Israel, and the people of Judah themselves, brought in the tithes of their cattle, sheep, and goats and a tithe of the things that had been dedicated to the LORD their God, and they piled them up in great heaps. They began piling them up in late spring, and the heaps continued to grow until early autumn. (2 Chronicles 31:5-7)
One part of our thanksgiving is to bring a part of our income into the Kingdom of heaven. Nowadays many reduce it to money, but it is so much more. Behind the tithe, there has to be a joyful heart; otherwise, it is a dead deed. For our Father in heaven, our attitude is important. He is the only one who always looks into the heart where nobody else can see. When we love the LORD with our whole heart, it is suddenly normal to give a tithe on everything. Many believers give much more than the tithe. When I look into my life, there is offering in the service and Kingdom projects I put money into. But much more—there are the many hours I spend leading prayer groups, studying scripture, and writing not only books but also devotionals. Many believers spend hours preparing kids’ service, worship and so much more.
When I had very little money and thought that the tithe was all the money I had left and I needed it for my kids, the LORD himself calmed me down. He showed me how he counts all the other things I do for him and his Kingdom. Since that time, I value more the time and energy that I can give to him than the money. Everything as a whole is essential. Watch the people of Israel; they brought things that they had produced, like oil, but they also brought sheep that the LORD had made.
When your heart flows over with thanksgiving, you never stop bringing the best of your power, time, creativity, engagement, and money. It is an expression, of what your heart is feeling for the LORD—what your heart is telling you to do. When we sow into his Kingdom, we help to prepare the harvest and establish his Kingdom. By doing this, the LORD strengthens us, releasing joy and power, and we can accomplish more for him. GOD himself honors a generous heart. To bring the best of yours, the first fruit, is a prophetic picture of JESUS. JESUS was the first fruit raised from the dead—the first son of GOD. GOD himself gave his best, JESUS, to redeem and rescue you. And if we love him, we will surely bring him the first and best of our life. In this way, we base our life on holy deeds, and as Paul wrote in Romans , if the roots are holy, the branches will be holy, too. For our protection and our growth in the spirit and in his Kingdom, it is important that we bring our best and base our life on holy ground.
Scriptures for today
• And since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy, their descendants will also be holy—just as the entire batch of dough is holy because the portion given as an offering is holy. For if the roots of the tree are holy, the branches will be, too. (Romans 11:16)
• But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. (1 Corinthians 15:20)
• He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. (James 1:18)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD, that he honors everything you do for him and bring to him.
• Commit yourself always to bring him the best of everything.
• Pray that the LORD will let your deeds and thanksgiving grow as a holy ground for your destiny.
• Thank the LORD, that he gave his very best for us, to set us free, make us holy, and open up the way to him.

• Ask him for help to remove everything that is your own deed—those things that he doesn’t value.
• Thank him for his guidance and help.

27 THE LORD BLESSED ISRAEL
When Hezekiah and his officials came and saw these huge piles, they thanked the LORD and his people Israel! “Where did all this come from?” Hezekiah asked the priests and Levites. And Azariah the high priest, from the family of Zadok, replied, “Since the people began bringing their gifts to the LORD’s Temple, we have had enough to eat and plenty to spare. The LORD has blessed his people, and all this is left over.” (2 Chronicles 31:8-10)
The people were so full of thankfulness and joy for the LORD that they didn't stop bringing their gifts to the temple. That's how the Kingdom of GOD works. If everyone is bringing his part, whatever it is, there is enough in the house of the LORD. Even more, there is an overwhelming blessing and plenty to spare. Scripture tells us that we shouldn't borrow; we shall have enough to give others. It shows the generous heart of GOD and that he plans overwhelming blessing, but we have to be obedient; otherwise, the flow of blessing is interrupted. So often people pray because they are in need, but others who should bring the blessing don't react. We are the hands and feet of GOD. We have to bring the blessing from one place to the other; otherwise, it makes no sense to be part of his Kingdom. What does it mean to rule and reign with Christ? Didn't he feed many people, naturally and spiritually? GOD wants to use us to build his Kingdom, where he is the builder and there is overflow—everything in abundance. That's why JESUS tells us all the different parables about the Kingdom. The solution in all of his stories is to give freely, overwhelmingly, and to sow generously. To accomplish all the different tasks in his Kingdom, GOD has made us so different, with different gifts and callings. Everybody is valuable and very important; nobody is forgotten, and all the callings work together. GOD has a great plan, and he wants to use you as it was written in your book before the world began. As a reward for our life with him, he crowns us with an everlasting crown. At that moment when we understand how important our life is, we recognize how important is our calling for others. You get blessings to
bless others; you get knowledge to equip others; you get finances to serve others, and the Holy Spirit empowers you to pray for others. All are working toward one aim; the establishment of his Kingdom here on earth. The more we live under his protection, the more we see his hand working in every area of our life. GOD wants to restore us—our body, mind, and soul. Then he can use us in a mighty way if we do the little things that he lays on our heart. As always, it starts with the decision in our heart to put his Kingdom and his will in first place in our life. In this way, we will see his mighty hand move upon and through us. Our destiny is like an adventure with the Holy Spirit It is like a long journey where we only know the aim—eternal life.
Scriptures for today
• Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. (Galatians 6:7-8)
• You welcomed him back with success and prosperity. You placed a crown of finest gold on his head. (Psalm 21:3)
• this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. (2. Corinthians 9:6)

28 PREPARE THE STORE ROOMS
Hezekiah ordered that storerooms be prepared in the Temple of the LORD. When this was done, the people faithfully brought all the tithes and gifts to the Temple. Conaniah the Levite was put in charge, assisted by his brother Shimei. The supervisors under them were Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismakiah, Mahath, and Benaiah. These appointments were made by King Hezekiah and Azariah, the chief official in the Temple of God. Kore son of Imnah the Levite, who was the gatekeeper at the East Gate, was put in charge of distributing the voluntary offerings given to God, the gifts, and the things that had been dedicated to the LORD. His faithful assistants were Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah. (2 Chronicles 31:11-15)
It is amazing that the people were so faithful that Hezekiah had to build storerooms. All the gifts needed a place to be stored. They had too many gifts and didn't know where to place them. Many Levites and Priests worked only for and in the storerooms to handle all the gifts. What a great turnaround! It is written that they all faithfully brought their gifts to the temple. This is only possible if people allow GOD to move their hearts. Imagine that great change that took place in a few weeks. From an ungodly nation that worshiped idols under every tree and had pagan altars everywhere, to a nation where everybody brought their gifts faithfully. When you read the verses one chapter before, where everybody was worshiping idols and the land was filled with altars and shrines, you never would expect such a change. The same is with our nation today. If you look at all the different idols and altars, your belief that this could ever change will get smaller and smaller. You need the heavenly perspective, that doesn't see the circumstances but the great possibilities. And more, you need to know the promises of GOD and take people like Hezekiah as great examples. Seeing his courage and how GOD helped him to accomplish the impossible is very encouraging for us. It started with his decision to follow the good and godly
inheritance and not the bad one. As young people obeyed, he just opened the doors, watched what was to be done, and continued, step by step. That was so great. Elderly people often like to overthink everything. But he just started, and the LORD blessed him. Even more, his people returned to the LORD and faithfully brought their gifts. As it is written in Malachi, there was not enough room to store everything, so they built new storerooms. When we decide in our hearts to be generous towards the Kingdom, GOD will open up the windows of heaven and bless us. Our whole life is giving and taking, as long as we belong to that circle. The moment we interrupt it, blessing can no longer flow in that great dimension as the LORD wants to let it flow. Be a blessing keeper!
Scriptures for today
• Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! (Malachi 3:10)
• In addition, we might even say that these Levites—the ones who collect the tithe—paid a tithe to Melchizedek when their ancestor Abraham paid a tithe to him. (Hebrews 7:9)
• You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

29 DISTRIBUTE YOUR GIFTS
They distributed the gifts among the families of priests in their towns by their divisions, dividing the gifts fairly among old and young alike. They distributed the gifts to all males three years old or older, regardless of their place in the genealogical records. The distribution went to all who would come to the LORD’s Temple to perform their daily duties according to their divisions. (2 Chronicles 31:15-16)
When everybody is bringing his part faithfully, all get blessed, and nobody goes with empty hands. When people experience the love and grace of GOD, they open their hearts, and nobody can be stingy. Our Father in heaven is generous; he gives us everything. David wrote in Psalms that our cup overflows with blessing in his presence. When people start to live in their purpose, the LORD can use them to be a great blessing for others. That's one of the reasons it is so important to take our eyes away from our problems and circumstances and focus them on him. The situation is the same, but our hearts and minds are filled with new hope and strength so that we can help build his Kingdom.
On our journey with the LORD, again and again, times come when we are confronted with seemingly hopeless situations. It is our decision to turn around and walk into the light that shines bright for everyone and leads to the right path. When we allow Jesus to fill our hearts with his love and truth, we want to spread the gospel—we want to give generously, and we are obedient to his word. Every time we lose our focus, we start walking the next round in the desert instead of walking into his blessing. Paul tells us to get a renewed mind through our belief in JESUS. We can be redeemed but still not walk in our destiny. That's something many people will regret in heaven one day. Imagine you are standing there at the throne, and before you can ask GOD any question about your life, he shows you what could have been your blessing, how he planned your destiny,
how many people he wanted to bring into his Kingdom through you, and what a great impact you could have made. I am sure it is worth much more to seek His face and ask for all the gifts, blessings, wise decisions, and guidance than to have anything else. It makes such a great difference whether we walk close to him or not.
Where people live who love the LORD and have learned to obey him, whatever the circumstances say, there is generosity. A generous mind recognizes the needs of others, and a generous heart welcomes those in need. Everyone can see it, and as the apostles came together and shared everything they had, so did the Israelites in the days of Hezekiah. That's the handwriting of our Heavenly Father who teaches us how to live together. All the different cultures on the earth do not completely reflect what he has planned; there is always something missing.
Scriptures for today
• And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. (2 Corinthians 9:8)
• All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper, and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. (Philippians 2:3-4)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for his generosity, his kindness, and his love.
• Ask the LORD to fill your heart and mind with his thoughts, his ways, and knowledge of his will.
• Pray for wisdom for yourself to know him better and walk on your path with JESUS.

30 SOUGH WHOLEHEARTED
In this way, King Hezekiah handled the distribution throughout all Judah, doing what was pleasing and good in the sight of the LORD his God. In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful. (2 Chronicles 31:20-21)
There is a secret to becoming successful. If we read this scripture seriously, we see why Hezekiah succeeded. In all that he did, he obeyed the LORD and served him wholeheartedly. ion is your key to success in any area of your life, especially in GOD’s Kingdom. JESUS says to love the LORD your GOD with all your heart. There are so many scriptures that encourage us to serve GOD wholeheartedly, and he will give us our hearts’ desires. But some scriptures warn us that GOD is jealous, and if we don't put him in first place in our life, the promises don't work as he has planned them for us.
Like Hezekiah, we should be careful to follow what the Holy Spirit tells us and everything we know from his word. Sometimes this seems to be impossible, but GOD will always bring us back to our path with him if we try to serve him wholeheartedly. It is no problem for him if we make mistakes, but lukewarmness is something that repels GOD. It makes him sad, and it is a heavy deed against JESUS to be lukewarm. JESUS died for you and me. He wholeheartedly gave his life and paid for everything. He gave us our freedom, bought with his blood the free entrance into heaven for you and me, wholeheartedly. Imagine, if JESUS didn’t have that ion, love, and obedience toward the Father, and you and I weren't allowed to move into eternity. What a great disaster for you and me. There is only one thing that is needed in GOD`s Kingdom—a ion that allows you to serve wholeheartedly.
If we have JESUS in mind, it is so much easier to stay on our path. People around us often don't understand why we want to live wholeheartedly committed to the LORD. Some friends may turn away because they don't understand you. But your reward doesn't come from those people; your reward, your success, and the blessing come from the LORD Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth.
So to get very successful and be a marvelous testimony of his love, grace, favor, healing, and blessings, it is necessary to serve him wholeheartedly. GOD knows our weaknesses, and he is always there with his helping hand to make us successful if we honor and love him, commit our lives to him, and serve with what we have. Think about the servants with the talents. GOD said that those who have will get more. So be generous in sowing into his Kingdom, your gifts, your ion, your love, your time, and your finances. Ensure that you do everything wholeheartedly so that GOD can speak through your life to others and bless them.
Scriptures for today
• He cared for them with a true heart and led them with skillful hands. (Psalms 78:42)
• A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. (Luke 6:45)
I will be careful to live a blameless life—when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home. (Psalms 101:6)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for his orders, commands, and rules that help us go the smart path.
• Thank JESUS for his wholehearted deed on the cross.
• Ask the LORD to cleanse your heart, so that you can be obedient and wholeheartedly committed.
• Pray that your life will be a great example for others because your success will be infectious.
• Thank the LORD for all his promises and blessings, which he has prepared for your obedience.

31 ASSYRIA INVADES JUDAH
After Hezekiah had faithfully carried out this work, King Sennacherib of Assyria invaded Judah. He laid siege to the fortified towns, giving orders for his army to break through their walls. (2 Chronicles 32:1)
Often when we have struggles, we claim, or even so-called friends claim, that we are not on the right path with JESUS. But in our scripture, we read that Hezekiah served wholeheartedly, and he did everything that pleased the LORD. There is one creature, that cries out loud in fear when we serve the LORD with ion— satan. He shows up immediately when we have success. He has many different ways and interesting ideas of how he wants to stop us and bring us under condemnation and depression. But thank GOD, he gave us his word, and we are not alone. In nearly every situation, you can find a person who endured the same or almost the same as you right now. If you know scripture, you know what I am talking about.
Did Hezekiah do something wrong? No, definitely not; he was on his way with GOD; his nation turned to GOD, and they were all blessed in a mighty way. That’s showtime for the enemy who tries to kill, steal, and destroy everything you have built up with the LORD. The king of Assyria tried to break through their walls. He wanted to conquer the whole city.
Today, our enemies do the same spiritually. They come to steal friendships and relationships, destroy finances, and try to break the walls of churches and ministries. Even more, they attack our health and try to bind us in sorrow and depression. Have you ever been in that place? The only thing that helps you is standing fast and focusing on the LORD.
In James, it is written that those who endure will get their reward from heaven. When the enemy tries to steal, destroy, and condemn, we must set our eyes upon the LORD because he is the one who sends us help. Sometimes it seems to be a long period of relentless hurts from your surroundings and tears may come up every day, but the LORD is still by your side. He will never leave or fail you. So no matter how bad and depressing a situation may appear, you are safe in his hands, and help is on the way at the moment when you lift your eyes to him.
GOD is faithful, and his love endures forever, so when attacks come, we must stand on his promises and still believe his word although it might look as if the attacks come from the LORD himself. Don't believe the lie. Nothing can separate you from his presence. Whatever it takes to calm down the attacks, ask the LORD for help, take your time with him as JESUS did, and search for the solution in times with him. JESUS was confronted with heavy situations every day, and he got his roap to stay the course during his special times with his Father.

32 HEZEKIAH WORKED HARD
When Hezekiah realized that Sennacherib also intended to attack Jerusalem, he consulted with his officials and military advisers, and they decided to stop the flow of the springs outside the city. They organized a huge work crew to stop the flow of the springs, cutting off the brook that ran through the fields. For they said, “Why should the kings of Assyria come here and find plenty of water?” Then Hezekiah worked hard at repairing all the broken sections of the wall, erecting towers, and constructing a second wall outside the first. He also reinforced the ing terraces in the City of David and manufactured large numbers of weapons and shields. (2 Chronicles 32:2-5)
Hezekiah's reaction is great. He did not grumble for even one second. At once, he is meeting with all the people in positions of responsibility and organizing a plan to stop the enemy. Isn't it amazing? He says, “Why should the enemy find plenty of water?” In other words, if the enemy is coming and he will maybe succeed in entering into the city, he will find nothing to stay and survive. Do we have this mindset? Do you ever think, maybe the enemy will have success at one point, but I give him nothing to stay and survive?
If we resist the devil, scripture says he must flee in seven ways. So to prepare for his escape, we have to turn off his living water. Hezekiah repaired the wall and closed the springs outside the city. We can do the same if we are under a great attack that tries to destroy everything we have built for our protection.
As a believer, you always have access to heavenly strategies and wisdom to answer the attacks of the enemy. If you don't know what to do to solve a problem, go into the secret place to your Father, and don't discuss it with other
people. When you know your way, when you know how to react to the attack, then speak with others. JESUS always went up to the mountains to his secret place to have quiet time with the Father. He faced so many different things that couldn't be solved using human wisdom. Our wisdom alone leads us to discussions and discouragements. But to be successful, we need a heavenly strategy.
Hezekiah worked on many different levels, he stopped the springs, equipped his army, and built up the wall. So for me, this is something we can copy in a way. To repair the wall means protection, to equip the army means building up the defense, and stopping the water means preparing the enemy's escape. We can keep these three things in mind when we go into our prayer time with the LORD: What can we do for our protection? How shall we pray for our defense? What will make the enemy flee? In every situation, it is something different, and we have to ask the LORD every time for a fresh and new revelation on how we should go forward to prepare ourselves for the battle.
Scriptures for today
• Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. (Colossians 3:23)
• But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace. (1 Corinthians 15:10)
• So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for his strategies to overcome every attack in your life.
• Commit yourself to the LORD, that you will always seek his solutions and his ways in every conflict with the enemy.

33 BE STRONG & COURAGEOUS
He appointed military officers over the people and assembled them before him in the square at the city gate. Then Hezekiah encouraged them by saying. “Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria or his mighty army, for there is a power far greater on our side! He may have a great army, but they are merely men. We have the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!” Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people. (2 Chronicles 32:6-8)
Hezekiah did everything that pleased the LORD, but the enemy didn't like his success. So suddenly, Hezekiah was confronted with the fact that he had to do everything to defend his people and his kingdom. What I appreciate about him is the fact that he didn't doubt for a single second. He did everything to encourage his people and lead them into GOD's presence. He built up the faith and trust in GOD and showed his people that the greater one was on their side; there was no reason to fear anything. What a great leader! If you know your GOD, and you know his faithfulness, whatever is confronting you, you know the victory is on your side. Sometimes we can't see the end nor do we know how long the battle will endure, but GOD has the greater perspective, and we can lay our trust onto him.
The enemy tries to confuse us, to steal our peace and trust, but if we, again and again, lay our focus onto God, he will reveal to us the strategy for our victory. Yes, it is true, the battle is the LORD’s, but we have to fulfill our part, too. He will not intervene if we only sit in our house and say, “it is his battle; he will fight it.” GOD always involves us in the process and wants us to walk by faith. Only if we follow his instructions, can he move through us and among us. There is no blueprint and no special strategy that works in all situations. GOD is too creative; he never acts the same way. The only thing that will never change is
that he wants us to be obedient so that he can show his mercy and love for us. So where do we have to be strong and courageous? In our trust and belief in him. Our great part is to believe his promises in his word and to look only to him and not whatever is around us or whatever tries to defeat us and wants us to struggle and fall and fail.
We need the mindset of Joshua and Hezekiah. They never let lies and rumors lead them to distrust the LORD. They always turned the people's view up to the LORD, proclaimed his faithfulness, and encouraged the people. This is our calling, too. The media and the masses will always find ways to tell you why you are wrong. But it is on us to show them through our lives how GOD works with and through us. Everything the enemy shows us is smaller, has less power, and will not endure forever. There is only one way to be constantly successful— if we know that he who lives in us is greater, has more power, and reigns forever.
Scriptures for today
• Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. (Joshua 1:7)
• You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet. (Psalms 18:39)
• A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. (Ephesians 6:10-11)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for his everlasting love and mercy.
• Pray for a changed mindset like Joshua, that will always see the possibilities and the strategies of the LORD.
• Confess that you will be obedient to the LORD’s commands, although they might not seem logical to you.
• Loose yourself, your family, and your generation from all the lies the enemy sows, and pray that the lies will be exposed.
• Pray that the truth, light, and love of GOD will fill them and always guide them the right way.
• Take the words: “be courageous and strong,” hold them like Mary inside the deepest part of your heart.
• Pray that you grow in the knowledge that the battle is the LORD's, and you will unite with his plans and thoughts.

34 WHAT ARE YOU TRUSTING IN?
While King Sennacherib of Assyria was still besieging the town of Lachish, he sent his officers to Jerusalem with this message for Hezekiah and all the people in the city: “This is what King Sennacherib of Assyria says: What are you trusting in that makes you think you can survive my siege of Jerusalem?“ (2 Chronicles 32:9-10)
How brutal is life sometimes? You lay all your heart and soul before the LORD, and someone else is trying to destroy all your strength, hope, and energy. If someone comes and sows distrust into your faith, it has the power to take your feet out from under you. That's what the devil wants all the time! Believers that let him sow his evil unbelief and distrust into their life with the LORD. If we follow these lies, they have the power to ruin our destiny. That's the reason GOD encourages us several times in his word to only focus on him and to only seek his face, whatever happens.
Many people have not deeply grounded their spiritual roots into their relationship with the LORD. If you know your Father in heaven very well, the enemy can tell you what he wants, but you will never believe it, and your destiny isn't in danger. Nevertheless, those words can be an evil seed if we let them grow in our hearts. They can plant a root for distrust in a completely different situation.
The enemy saw that the first discouragement didn't work, so he had no better idea than to come again and sow the next seed of distrust. , Hezekiah wasn't impressed by the first attack of the enemy. He started at once to plan defeat and protection. So the enemy had no chance to come closer to him. When
the enemy sees, that he can't come between you and GOD, and you start with the strategies of the LORD, he comes again and starts his second attack. Some people begin there with self-doubt. It is not our fault if the enemy comes again. The opposite is the truth! If you rest in GOD’s peace and ignore satan, he knows that you are stronger; he only changes his weapon. So in this case, discouraging and sowing fear didn't work, then he comes with distrust against GOD. The enemy shows his pride: “Look, I am so strong.” Maybe he looks as if he is strong, but JESUS is almighty!
The only correct answer we can give to attacks in the spirit is to seek GOD more, spend more time with him, read his word, and take longer times for prayer. It builds us up, and we can judge the situation from the heavenly perspective. There we get new instructions on how to move forward. We only have the victory when we let GOD lead us through the fight. Scripture shows us again and again that GOD has so many different ways to make a way for us and lead us to victory. When we rest in his peace, the victory is a miracle that shows his grace, kindness, and protection for us. In his great love, he defeats all our enemies and makes them a footstool for us. Endure the process, and the victory is yours!
Scriptures for today
• It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes. (Psalms 118:8-9)
• So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (Hebrews 10:35)
See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. (Isaiah 12:2)

35 THE ENEMY SOWS DISTRUST!
Hezekiah has said, “The LORD our God will rescue us from the king of Assyria.“ Surely Hezekiah is misleading you, sentencing you to death by famine and thirst! Don’t you realize that Hezekiah is the very person who destroyed all the LORD’s shrines and altars? He commanded Judah and Jerusalem to worship only at the altar at the Temple and to offer sacrifices on it alone.“ (2 Chronicles 32:11-12)
The enemy is always a liar. Did you see it? First, he truly repeats what Hezekiah said, and then he is interpreting the situation in his way! The enemy always uses the same system. First, he takes a bit of the truth you know very well, then he builds his lies around it and lets you think: “Oh my goodness, I haven’t understood the situation in this way.” And that's the point where he lays a lie on top, but you will not recognize it because he began with a piece of truth.
In our scripture, the truth was, that Hezekiah had said, that GOD will rescue them from their enemies. But then starts the sowing of distrust: ”Hezekiah is misleading you.” The reaction of everybody who hears the lie is the same—we start to think it over. Then, for a better result, the enemy gives you a lie that you accept as the truth: “Hezekiah destroyed all the LORD’s shrines.” Yes, Hezekiah destroyed all the shrines, but they weren't the LORD’s; they were idols! Do you see how it works? In every situation, where you need to trust the LORD and move forward with him, the enemy sows a lie as truth and tries to build distrust against your leader or pastor, and by that, against the LORD himself. Scripture says he is a liar and he only roars like a lion. Only the true lion, JESUS CHRIST, can lead us directly to the Father's heart. He gave his life for us to see the truth and live in it. So when GOD’s word says that we hear his voice, why do we, again and again, accept lies as the truth? Even more, scripture says we don't know the voice of the enemy! In John 10:3-5 scripture says, that the true sheep
will flee from the enemy; they will not follow him because they do not know his voice. For them, he is a stranger!
GOD never brings us under condemnation, but if we trust the lies of the enemy, we have to prove our heart toward the LORD. Where is our first love for him? Do we still love his word? Do we seek his face and rest in his peace no matter what circumstances say? The enemy's lies always have the same fruit: broken relationships, broken friendships, divided churches, and so much more. Lies destroy not only your peace but they also steal your vision, hope, and your trust in hearing the voice of GOD.
If we look at the three temptations that JESUS had after his 40 days in the desert, we can clearly recognize the principles of the enemy. JESUS gave us great examples of how we should react to everything we are confronted with. He never discussed and every answer lifted our Father in Heaven.
Scriptures for today
• Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. (Hebrews 12:3)
• I am trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false teachings. God will judge that person, whoever he is, who has been confusing you. (Galatians 5:10)
• So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up. (Romans 14:19)

• Thank the LORD that he is guiding you through every difficult situation.
• Pray for wisdom to decode the lies of the enemy at the right time.

36 TRUTH TURNED INTO LIE
Surely you must realize what I and the other kings of Assyria before me have done to all the people of the earth! Were any of the gods of those nations able to rescue their people from my power? Which of their gods was able to rescue its people from the destructive power of my predecessors? What makes you think your God can rescue you from me? Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you! Don’t let him fool you like this! I say it again—no god of any nation or kingdom has ever yet been able to rescue his people from me or my ancestors. How much less will your God rescue you from my power!” (2 Chronicles 32:13-15)
How prideful is this speech? It reminds me of Goliath who was screaming through the whole valley. He provoked the Israelites by screaming. “For forty days, every morning and evening, the Philistine champion strutted in front of the Israelite army.” 1 Samuel 17:16 By this, he discouraged the whole army.
The King of Assyria tried the same by blaming King Hezekiah before his people and lifting himself over the LORD Almighty. In his arrogance, he seated himself higher than GOD. What makes you think your GOD can rescue you from me? Oh, who is speaking here? It sounds like Goliath or the devil in the desert tempting JESUS. If someone speaks in that manner to us, there is no doubt of the source of these words. Sometimes even people we love the most can be a tool in the devil's hands and speak to us in a way that you think the devil speaks directly to you. This always reminds me of the time when JESUS said to Peter: ”Get away from me, Satan.” Mark 8:33. For a long time, I didn’t understand how JESUS could talk to his disciple in this way. But JESUS saw behind the words and knew the source very well.
We should be careful when people around us start to talk like this. So often, they don't recognize what they are telling us. But if we have the impression that the words spoken to us are sowing distrust in the LORD or his word or trying to shake our belief, then we must be careful. The only thing that helps against confusion and discouragement or fear is to seek the LORD more just like JESUS did when he went into the mountains. In his presence, we can clear our thoughts and divide, with the help of the Holy Spirit, the truth from the lies and rest in GOD’s peace.
Each of us is confronted with attacks; they come every time you take a significant step forward with the LORD. The more you seek his face, the more you step into your destiny, the more the devil tries to stop and block you. It depends on our reaction whether he is successful or not. It is not easy to react like Paul said, “Be joyful in every temptation.” But the joy in the LORD helps us overcome every depressing situation, helps us hear his voice clearly, gives us the power to react in the right way, and leads us into spiritual freedom. In this way, we can easily decode the lies and will never fall into fear. Your inheritance is joy, victory, and success and the power to overcome everything.
Scriptures for today
• But this is what you must do: Tell the truth to each other. Render verdicts in your courts that are just and that lead to peace. (Zechariah 8:16)
• They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. (Romans 1:25)
• But don’t be fooled by those who promise you safety simply because the LORD’s Temple is here. They chant, “The LORD’s Temple is here! The LORD’s Temple is here!” (Jeremiah 7:4)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for your heavenly inheritance and the power to overcome everything.
• Pray for wisdom to speak in difficult times only the words of the truth.
• Loose yourself, your family, and your generation from all the lies of the enemy about the LORD.

37 THE ENEMY SOWS HOPELESSNESS
And Sennacherib’s officers further mocked the LORD God and his servant Hezekiah, heaping insult upon insult. The king also sent letters scorning the LORD, the God of Israel. He wrote, “Just as the gods of all the other nations failed to rescue their people from my power, so the God of Hezekiah will also fail.“ (2 Chronicles 32:16-17)
The king of Assyria did not let go of any opportunity to insult, discourage and destroy the hope of the people of Israel. He was so self-confident about his power that he proclaimed the end of GOD’s power like all the other idols. It is a bit similar to the words of the pharaoh when he didn't let go of the people of Israel. “The GOD of Hezekiah will fail.” He didn't know whom he was talking about, and he was a heavy tool in the devil's hands. But no one, neither in heaven nor on earth, is greater than the almighty GOD. He created heaven and earth, so who is thinking that he could ever fail or fall? Only the devil, who still wants to show GOD that he is the ruler and will get a seat in heaven. The devil knows his end very well; he knows that there is no chance for him to get his position in heaven back nor to win against GOD. So he takes his “never come true dream” and tries to impress us by insulting GOD and sowing fear and hopelessness. At this point, you see very clear how deep your relationship with GOD is. Does it impress you what the devil says? Does it touch your heart? Are you confused by it or angry?
If we run into the secret place, we can lay down our fear before it starts to get roots and grow. We can focus on the promises the LORD gave us to sow new hope and vision, and in this way, we will not lose our aim and will run our race until the end. Our great reward in heaven is waiting on us. So Paul wrote it in Philippians 3:14, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize. Many things happen on our way, but we have to lift our eyes unto the
LORD. Nothing should be able to shake our trust and faith. Jesus told us to love GOD with all our hearts, mind, and soul. This includes worshiping him the most when we don't see his moving hand and rejoicing over our victory through him when we don't know how this could come true.
We have the almighty GOD on our side no matter what anyone tells us. He will reign forever, and every knee will bow before him. Every time somebody tries to knock down your faith and strength, try to look behind the scene and ask the LORD for the right strategy to come through the situation. The LORD honors those who stand fast on the truth and put their trust in the LORD. He wants to be our rock in heavy storms, our light in our darkest hour, and our joy when we weep the most. He wants to be your strong tower, where you can hide and nobody can touch you. In his love, he wants to heal every area of your life and be your safe place in times of trouble. The only thing we have to do is to seek him more than ever when attacks try to steal our peace, trust, joy, and hope in him.
Scriptures for today
• The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. (Psalms 18:2)
• But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. (Psalms 59:16)
• Oh, the joys of those who trust the LORD, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. (Psalms 40:4)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD that you are safe in him, whatever happens.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to help you always make the right decisions.
• Pray that you, your family, and your generation will experience the power of joy in the LORD.
• Bless your life, your family, and your generation with an unshakable trust and faith in the LORD.
• Pray that all will experience the LORD as their savior, their rock, and a safe place in times of trouble.

38 THE ENEMY' PRIDE
The Assyrian officials who brought the letters shouted this in Hebrew to the people gathered on the walls of the city, trying to terrify them so it would be easier to capture the city. These officers talked about the God of Jerusalem as though he were one of the pagan gods, made by human hands. (2 Chronicles 32:18-19)
Isn't it interesting that they shouted everything in Hebrew although they were from Assyria? Does something about this sound familiar to you? The enemy knows us very well. He comes in every situation and circumstance in our lives and speaks a language we are familiar with, and he tries to terrify us so we become easily captive. If nothing can shake you, he comes with something that speaks directly to your heart to terrify and confuse you. His only aim is to take your strength away so that you easily become his victim. The enemy sows not only distrust but unbelief. He makes GOD so small in your eyes that the LORD is compared with the idols that human hands have made. This is an old but still effective strategy. People who don't know their identity in JESUS CHRIST and don't have a close relationship with their Father in heaven, can easily come under confusion and unbelief. The result is fear and depression, and without JESUS, there is no way out of it.
That's where the enemy wants believers to be: seeing him with overwhelming size, unbelievable power, and tremendous victories. This kind of view was the one the ten scouts had when Moses sent them out to spy out the land. Only Joshua and Caleb saw the bigger plan for the people of Israel in their hearts and walked steadfast with GOD. They bowed neither their hearts nor their minds to all the negativity around them. Unfortunately, most of the time the masses don't follow the ways of the LORD, so we have to carefully prove if we have the right path and are walking with JESUS.
In his loving-kindness and mercy, GOD gave us everything we need to hear his voice, walk his ways, and make wise decisions. It is on us to stop voices around us that speak in a dishonoring way about GOD. We should try to remove everything that makes the LORD small in our eyes because it sows distrust and unbelief. Even more, it hurts our relationship with the LORD. It should be one of our most important aims to protect our relationship with him. JESUS did everything for us at the cross; we can add nothing to complete it, but we can act like it means nothing, or we can choose to honor him and let the Holy Spirit speak louder than all the unbelief and fear.
Scripture says, that the LORD honors a humble heart and heals the broken hearts, so no matter how difficult your situation might be at the moment, lift your eyes, believe your savior, and reach out for his helping hand. He loves it to heal, protect, bless, and restore you. If you stay close to him, his promises, and his word, the enemy must flee and the victory is yours.
Scriptures for today
• There are six things the LORD hates—no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family. (Proverbs 6,16-19)
• But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.” (James 4;6)
Prayer-points for today
• Thank the LORD for his prepared ways out of any difficulty.
• Pray for wisdom and understanding to identify the strategies of the enemy.
• Thank the LORD for your position in him, your inheritance in heaven, and your destiny here on earth.
• Pray for your nation, especially for your generation, that they won't trust the enemy's lies any longer and will receive hope instead in the presence of the LORD.
• Bless your nation with people like Joshua and Caleb who take a stand for the LORD and lead your people into the GOD-given promised land.
• Pray for the protection of the people in your nation, that they will turn their hearts to GOD and trust him and not the enemy.

39 HEZEKIAH CRIED OUT TO GOD
Then King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to God in heaven. And the LORD sent an angel who destroyed the Assyrian army with all its commanders and officers. So Sennacherib was forced to return home in disgrace to his own land. And when he entered the temple of his god, some of his own sons killed him there with a sword. (2 Chronicles 32:20-21)
The answer from heaven came the second Hezekiah and the prophet prayed in union and poured out their hearts before the LORD. Then, the LORD himself sent an angel to destroy the enemy! What a significant change, not only for the people of Israel but also for the king of Assyria. From the one who mocks the LORD Almighty and tries to easily conquer the city of Jerusalem, to the one who his own son killed! There are so many examples in scriptures where kings lifted themselves above GOD, and suddenly they were never seen again. No one on this earth nor in heaven mocks our GOD and doesn't get the correct answer from heaven.
We have the great victory-maker on our side and we don't know how he wants to destroy our enemies, but he always does it at the right time. With the right focus towards heaven, we overcome all the fear and confusion that tries to overwhelm us.
GOD encourages us all the time to look at him, to seek his face, and to stay focused on our calling. The times when we cry out to him, we may feel like the worst loser, but we come out of those times as winners. GOD loves to show his mercy. David shows us in so many psalms that the LORD was his rescue in
every difficulty. We don't know how to battle the enemy unless we ask the LORD. Joshua had to move seven times around Jericho until the walls came down. Samson brought down a whole temple with his hands, and Gideon won against a mighty army without a fight because the Lord sent thunder. GOD’s solutions will always amaze us. That's the reason why it is so important to ask him, every time, how to move forward. The Holy Spirit reveals to us what we need, so let him involve you in heavenly solutions. Our books in heaven are filled with instructions, solutions, commands, and ways to fulfill our calling. Our job is to unlock them through prayer and sometimes to fast as the LORD leads us. Today we will focus on our books in heaven and ask GOD to send his angels with all the information, wonders, miracles, instructions, and whatever else we need that he has prepared for us to get new hope and vision. By this, we get positioned with GOD to accomplish the next steps. As we get new hope, we gain our strength back and joy returns. That's where we need to be as children of GOD: staying in his presence, never losing his peace, and able to cut the loud noises off, that only want to irritate us.
Scriptures for today
• But I will call on God, and the LORD will rescue me. (Psalms 55;16)
• Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory. (Psalms 50;15)
• Don’t turn away from me in my time of distress. Bend down to listen, and answer me quickly when I call to you. (Psalms 102;2)

40 THE GREAT TURN AROUND
That is how the LORD rescued Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from King Sennacherib of Assyria and from all the others who threatened them. So there was peace throughout the land. From then on King Hezekiah became highly respected among all the surrounding nations, and many gifts for the LORD arrived at Jerusalem, with valuable presents for King Hezekiah, too: (2 Chronicles 32:22-23)
The LORD has a way to rescue us so that nobody can deny that the solution came from him. He makes it clear what he did, and thereby, he lifts us in the eyes of the people around us. When we are in a trial, many look at us as if we are completely wrong like the friends of Job who told him that he was under a curse and GOD had left him. Such unive friends hurt us, and many don't know that their words have the power to pull us away from our walk with JESUS. When you move forward with the LORD, you will suddenly find such people in your surrounding, and if they are people who you thought were your friends, it definitely hurts. But don't worry; the LORD has already planned your day of restoration and all the grumbling people will no longer hurt but you.
The times when we are in heavy situations, we grow the most. The LORD is healing us and lifting us although we sometimes don't recognize it. But when the trial is over, the enemy is defeated, and GOD has worked out the victory, we start to see the difference between before and after the attack. Although it sounds a bit weird, GOD often uses difficult times to work out why he has chosen us.
Hezekiah was suddenly so beloved that all brought their blessings to him. In the beginning, he was the one who led the people back to the heart of GOD. GOD
started to work in their hearts, healing and restoring them. They removed all the pagan altars. They followed the commands from Hezekiah, but only because they were GOD's commands and not because of him. After the attack, and as they saw how the LORD was helping Hezekiah, they treated him with respect.
One of the great signs of an ungodly nation is that the people are rebellious and don't honor their governor. So GOD had to do something to restore the image of Hezekiah so that he could rule as a king whose people loved him. , Hezekiah’s father did everything that was evil in GOD’s eyes and Hezekiah had a heavy inheritance.
Hezekiah was looking to establish the kingdom of GOD, and as a blessing, GOD established his Kingdom. We never know what GOD will do for us and we can't plan it. But always when we stay in the word, “Seek the LORD and his Kingdom first, and he will give you your heart's desires” we will see the LORD's hand move in our lives in a mighty way. As it is written in Jeremiah: “His ways are so much higher than ours.”
Scriptures for today
• When people’s lives please the LORD, even their enemies are at peace with them. (Proverbs 16:7)
• And we apostles would all be lying about God—for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
• For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. (1 John 5:4)

Heavenly Father,
I confess that I am a sinner. I confess that I need Your Son, Jesus Christ. I choose to turn away from sin right now, and I ask you to cleanse me by the blood of Jesus of all unrighteousness. Please forgive me in His name.
Lord Jesus, I believe You died for me and You rose again from death. Now You are alive and listening to me.
I now turn from my sins and welcome You into my heart. Come and take control of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.
Now, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, who will show me how to live for You. I acknowledge You before men as my Savior and my Lord.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
