At the party, I my friend kept nudging me and saying: “You should do this, Lib – it’ll get you out of the house!” At that point, I had been at home for the past three years with my “little guy.” The timing just felt right to me. I could not have imagined the success I would find three years later. My original goal was to have 4-6 parties per month and earn enough to pay for my son’s preschool. But things just took off! I was first attracted to Thirty-One because of the name (and finding out what the name stood for) and, of course, the products!

Little did I know that by ing the company, my life would change! Thirty-One allowed me to continue being a stay-at-home mom and remain in the home next door to my grandparents. It’s given me back confidence and helped me regain the identity I had before I was a stay-at-home mom! I am so humbled and thrilled when I think about everything I’ve been able to accomplish since I have been with Thirty-One. I’ve been able to take the burden of being the sole provider off of my husband, and I’ve gotten to help women gain some financial freedom in their lives. In fact, the thing I love best about my job is helping women take control of their lives in ways they never could have imagined!

Not only have I been able to attain so much and have the satisfaction of a job well done, but it’s really moving when I think about how Thirty-One has helped me overcome different challenges. I’ve been able to set boundaries as I work from home, and the Senior Executive Director weekend helped me focus on my “Why” and to make decisions guided by that. I have become more goal-oriented, confident and driven! I like to tell people who are interested in my business that I don’t sell the products, I use the products and people ask me about them. I don’t beg for parties, I explain the rewards. I don’t push people to the business, I share what it has done for me. If you treat people right, you will be blessed. God has His hand in our business. Since then, I have been rewarded more than I ever imagined. My life is revitalized and filled with an exuberant ion for others. It’s not about what you receive, it’s about what you can help others achieve. It’s amazing to be able to play a seemingly insignificant role and give someone else an opportunity to achieve their dreams. Incredible! On a personal and financial level, it’s so fulfilling to be able to write a check on a regular basis to those people I want to bless, not those I owe! It is an incredible feeling because pure generosity has its own reward. I have grown so much, personally. If you are realistic, memorize your goals, then visualize your goals, spend the time working and surround yourself with positive people, you are well on your way to success! Never give up, and be persistent by acting on your goals every day. Thirty-One has helped me see that the only way things change for you is when you change. It’s not about the final destination; it’s about the entire journey. Sure, there may be a speed bump (or 20), but I find myself just flying over those speed bumps – celebrating small and large successes. It keeps my spirits high and the big momentum rolling! For some people, the life we dream of is a reality. Go for it and don’t let anything slow you down, because it’s all about the journey – and I know the destination is worth it!

No one was more surprised than me when I became a Thirty-One Consultant. I needed a way to make some extra income for my family, but being a stay-at-home mom for three children – the oldest of whom is diagnosed with autism – I knew that a traditional 9-to-5 position was not going to provide the income and flexibility that I required. I quickly realized that if I was going to take time away from my family, I wanted to be working on a dream of my own. When my old college roommate casually mentioned Thirty-One in a phone conversation, I felt compelled to check out the products online. Neither one of us realized what was set in motion that night when I became a Consultant without ever having touched a product!

After three months, I decided because so many people were complimenting the bags I was carrying, it couldn’t hurt to have a “little home party” myself.

Thirty-One has blessed my life in more ways than I could have ever dreamed possible, one of them being that my husband and I are now completely debt-free. We are able to help others and give freely, with no more financial worries or struggles. Of course, I give thanks to the Lord for bringing Thirty-One into my life! I find myself asking, “Why me, Lord? What have I done to deserve all of these blessings?” I am humbled and honored that, for whatever reason, He has faith in me, and I will use His money wisely and to His glory. My ion is to build women’s self-confidence and help them to believe in themselves; and then, to give them their wings so they can soar!
