Twilight Chapter 1 “Undescriptive” Edward's POV Written by me

“Damn it, Edward. Get a life!” Emmett shouted, it was nearly impossible not to get on his nerves. “Well, what do you expect from me? That girl is just an ordinary girl – I mean Isabella Swan – she's not the only girl in the planet. But she is the first one, whose mind I can't read, it's frustrating! You don't understand.” Calm down, Edward. No need to go in to shock. Carlisle will tell us what the problem is, Alice thought with a warning glance. I have to concentrate, this can't be happening. Ugh! Maybe I should just listen to Jessica's mind, to understand their conversation. “........the boy with the reddish brown hair?” Bella asked, it was making me call her Bella instead of Isabella, she corrected everyone who called her Isabella. She just has to be kidding me, who'd want her, such an idiot, Jessica was obviously making fun of her, but what is it to me? “That's Edward. He's gorgeous, of course, but don't waste your time he doesn't date. Apparently none of the girls here are good-looking enough for him.” The thought suddenly made me smile. “Anything new, brother? Did you get new information from this Isabella girl?” Jasper's voice had no curiosity in it. Of-course he didn't care about anything, except keeping Alice safe. “No nothing new, but she did ask , about me specifically.” Edward what do you expect? The way you glare at her, makes her furious. Don't scare the hell out of her, idiot, I didn't really listen to whose thought it was, but by the characteristics of the sentence, made I understand it was Alice. I mean who else would be so tiny, annoying, and reasonably smart. But there was one thing I misunderstood about Alice, is that not depending on the situation she always tried to brighten the day, there had to be a little humor in her voice, or words. Whenever I looked at Chief Swan's daughter, I saw her questioning eyes, but the harder I tried to look – I mean glance – at her, the more I saw emptiness, silence, it was impossible to read her mind. Suddenly though, I realized the cafeteria was almost empty, I got up and went to my Biology class. It made me insane, hearing the “voices” of the males in here, the pictures with Bella Swan were so vivid, so disgusting. No, no, no, no the monster, devil......the vampire inside of me yelled. And that is when I realized it's been a while since I hunted. The girl went to give a slip to Mr. Banner, when he singed it, she quickly looked around, to see if there's any empty seats, before she sat next to me, because only my desk had one available seat. Her scent was incredibly delicious. Monster inside of me......tried to yell at me to kill her, somehow, someway, but kill her. The varieties of ways, of how to murder her ran through my mind. Carlisle would be angry, mad and upset about what I did. I needed , the one I could only get from Alice. The whole time, I simply didn't breathe. I was careless. I didn't even think about what it would do to her family, her innocent family. Some part of me did think that the girl was innocent also, but that part was a quarter of little. When the bell rang, I was in a hurry to the office, and then to Alice. She wouldn't think I was crazy, like Rosalie, Jasper and Emmett would. Esme would tell me to do whatever it takes to

not be depressed. Carlisle would give the advise that'll be only positive to the Swans, and not to me. I went to the office, to ask Ms. Cope, if I could change my Biology class time to any other time, of-course that was no help. When I exited, I saw the shocked face of Bella Swan, I could see she felt guilty, not knowing for what. And very surprised that it's about her, she was positive about that. So I went straight to Alice, my caring, loving, favorite sister. “Alice, can I borrow a minute, alone?” I felt uncomfortable, and embarrassed asking her this, but I had no other choice. “Um.....sure Edward. Let's go,” I could hear the confusion in her reply. “Alice, I want to kill Bella Swan, I have no options left. And before you answer, I know I need to hunt, but her scent is so inviting. Hunt or no hunt, I wouldn't be able to live without killing her.” Okay Edward, this can't go any further, you have no right to take away her life, her father's life. Bella is the only thing Chief Swan has, the only thing. Let's look at the alternatives, there has to be some. And I didn't know if I should tell you but I saw, something that would surprise you a lot, trust me! How could I not think, that Alice would try everything she could to make everyone happy. “There are no alternatives left Alice, none,” I was surprised when I noticed, I was yelling. Or is there? I saw you be miserable, for the rest of your existence without her, she'd change your life, only her. And plus..........I would also be really mad at you for killing my future best friend........my sister. Just wait few months, it's not that hard, after you make your decision whatever you want, but don't kill the innocent girl now. There was absolutely no point in her thoughts, what is she talking about? Best friend? Sister? Her changing my life? I replayed her “voice” over and over, behind it, there was a deep unknown meaning. She was meaningful, when she thought of the words, she wasn't joking, not even a bit. “Alice you make no sense. Her changing my life, into a happy one? No way! She will the one to make it miserable! Your sister in what-.....” She cut me off. I mean it in every way you can think it in, she yelled at me in her mind, even though everything was still so unreasonable. She stared at me, as I ran out of the room with an inhuman speed, and shut the door hard behind her. That's when guilt rushed through me, she didn't deserve it, why do I lose my temper whenever I get angry? Alice told me, her opinion, I shouldn't have been so entirely selfish. I have to make sure to apologize later. I had to do something, Alice was right, if I kill Bella, it will hurt her family much more, than I can imagine. Maybe, I could give a visit to Denali? I have to go somewhere far from the girl. Son, think it through. You don't have to leave, Carlisle was repeating this phrase over and over, as soon as I told him I was going to Denali. “Carlisle you don't understand, what her scent does to me, I won't be able to hold myself if I'll be out of self-control!” Well, it's up to you. Take my car, it'll be easier. I was relieved to know that I finally convinced Carlisle. Denali wasn't the best solution. Tanya is more annoying than ever, I have to be able to live through it, at least another hour.

“Tanya it's okay, it's not your fault. I'm gonna have to consider Alice's choice. She's right. She said what she saw. I made a decision, that I don't even know about, yet. I have to trust her. She won't wish anything bad happen to me, my family, or the girl, and her family. She has the best resolution.” I am still very sorry, I hope everything turns out right, Edward, she tried to comfort me, it was obvious. And I was thankful. Goodbye, I wish you all the best, she added. “Bye, it was nice staying here, thank you for everything,” I said trying to be polite. By the next morning, I was home. School. My worst nightmare now, because of the Bella Swan. I have to take it no matter what. Not killing her, even though the monster inside of me was insisting me to do it. I saw her. Talking to her friend – which really wasn't her friend – Jessica Stanley. As always, it was frustrating not to hear Bella's thoughts. So I listened to selfish, mean, greedy, thoughts of Jessica. “......doesn't look angry, does he?” I heard Bella's words through Jessica's head. “No, should he be?” Jessica was pretty confused. “I don't think he likes me,” Bella whispered, right away Jessica added a phrase to her mind, um......is she insane, of course he doesn't like her, look at her, she's such an ordinary girl, but then said, “The Cullens don't like anybody......well, they don't notice anybody enough to like them. But he's still staring at you.” If I was there, I'd correct her, not stare, but glare. That's when Alice stole my attention off Jessica's and Bella's conversation. You have to try talking to her, she's not an evil, you don't even know her. She's totally innocent. It's absolutely not her fault, she has no idea that she smells that way to vampires, she doesn't even have a clue that there are vampires. She told me with her high “voice” and eyes wide open. “You're right, Alice,” I smiled warmly to her, the answering smile was a bit funny. I did agree with her though, I at the very least needed to try. Go, the class will start in 3 minutes. She encouraged. When I walked in, I saw her sitting at her seat shyly, quietly, drawing some kind of pattern.
