Standards we Certify CARB Verification services The California Air Resources Board, also referred to as CARB or ARB, is the agency responsible for air quality in the California state government. MRV Regulation (EU) 2015/757 The objective of the MRV Regulation is to develop a better understanding of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions from shipping activities within the EU which could then be used to shape and inform any future GHG monitoring or reduction initiatives. The MRV Regulation is viewed as the first step of a staged approach for the inclusion of maritime transport emissions into the EU’s GHG reduction commitment, alongside the other sectors that are already contributing to that commitment.
