LESSON PLAN IN TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD EDUCATION CAREGIVING

I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to: 1. identify caregiving tools, equipment and paraphernalia applicable to the specific job; 2. use caregiving tools and paraphernalia properly in taking the vital signs, following the steps given.

II. SUBJECT MATTER A. Topic : Tools, Equipment, and Paraphernalia used in caregiving B. Reference : K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, Technology and Livelihood Education Learning Module, Explaratory Course Grade 7 and 8 Pp. 9 - 27 C. Instructional Materials : pictures with captions, digital thermometer, rubbing alcohol, cotton balls, notebook and ballpen

III. PROCEDURE A. Preparation : •Prayer •Greetings •Checking of attendance •Unlocking of difficulties - CAREGIVER, DISABILITIES, ELDERLY,TODDLER, INFANT •Motivation : The students will be divided into five ( 5 ) groups, from the given box below, picked three ( 3 ) pictures of caregiving tools,equipment, and paraphernalia. One of the students from the group will act the things that
