Marvellous Golden Coronal Sadhana of Manjushri Aa Ra Pa Tsa Na Begin with three mindful prostrations. Be seated comfortably either in a chair or on a cushion on the ground. If on the ground, sit with legs crossed. Hold the 108-bead Mala in your left hand.
NAMO MANJU NATHA YA NAMO BUDDHA YA NAMO DHARMA YA NAMO SANGHA YA
3x
INVOCATION OF THE ARYA MANJUSHRI Upon a moon disk at my heart, a DHI syllable issues rays of light, becomes Manjushri who is none other than my Guru encircled by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Guru and the deity become one. With mudra of invocation and absorption:
OM VAJRA SAMA JA NAMO GURU BYA NAMO MANJUGOSHA YA
May all beings have happiness and the cause of happiness (LOVE) May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering (COMION) May they never part from the happiness that knows no suffering (JOY) May they dwell in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion to those near and far. (EQUANIMITY)
OFFERINGS Recite the following mantras while performing the mudras:
OM ARGHAM, PADHYAM, PUSHPE, DHUPE, ALOKE, GANDHE, NAIVIDYE, SHABDA Seven Limb Prayer I give honour to the sublime Triple Gem. One by one I confess all unwholesome deeds, I rejoice in the wholesome deeds of all beings, hold in mind the Buddha's perfect Bodhicitta. The Buddha's Dharma and the exalted field I will honour till I reach enlightenment.
To accomplish my own and other's wishes I will practice Bodhicitta, By practicing the excellent Bodhi mind I will host all living beings as my guest, Will repeat this perfect conduct time and time again. 3x if possible May I reach Buddhahood swiftly!
PURIFICATION My heart is an empty eggshell. Inside it, the letter DHI radiates light waves which dispel the inner darkness of ignorance and transform my body into clarity.
OM SVA BHAVA SHUDDHA SARVA DHARMA SVA BHAVA SHUDDHO HUM Visual Imagination of Oneself as The Deity Everything dissolves into emptiness. Out of the emptiness, a lotus bud arises from the syllable PAM. Upon the lotus sits the moon disk of the syllable AA. In the top middle of the AA is the syllable DHI. It is a glorious gold colour. It radiantly disperses the darkness of the unknowing state into wisdom and places beings into the light of primordial wakefulness. All the Buddhas in the ten directions, their cognition and their all-encoming knowledge, are pouring down upon the syllable DHI at one's heart and becoming one with it.
Then, I am a red-gold-orange Arya Manjushri. I am youthful with one face and two hands. My right hand raises the sword that cuts the roots of ignorance. My left hand at my heart holds a stem of an opening lotus flower within which sits the Perfection of Wisdom Prajnaparamita teachings. I am seated in Vajra posture, cross-legged, richly ornamented, with upper and lower garments of cotton. My hair hangs youthfully in five locks curling over the left shoulder. I am transparent as I recline on the moon disk. OM at his forehead, AA at his throat, HUM at his heart. At the centre of his heart, the yellow four-spoke Wisdom Wheel (Prajna Chakra). On the rightside of the centre Chakra is the syllable DHI. On the left side of the centre Chakra is AA. The four spokes are marked with RA PA TSA NA clockwise. The middle DHI syllable radiates light to Manjushri's abode which is encircled by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas descending on us.
OM VAJRA SAMA JA Pause
JA HUM BAM HO Again the light rays shine out, invoking the five Mandala deities.
OM VAJRA SAMA JA ABHI SHYE CATU MAM Mandala deities uttering OM VAJRI BHAVA ABHI SHYE HUM Thus causes the induction that fills the body and cleanses the dirt. Excess water flows up to mark Akshobya on the crown. Light rays issue from both the Wisdom Chakra and the Mantra at one's heart, dispelling the delusions and Karmic habits of beings, transforming each being into a Manjushri. The summation of the blessings of Gurus, Yidams, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, their knowledge, comion and power, unifies with the Wisdom Chakra of each being. Thus I imagine our being is now consecrated.
MANTRA OM AA RA PA TSA NA DHI
as many as possible
In one exhalation recite DHI as much as possible. Imagine the syllable DHI is orange in colour, lying face inwards on one's own tongue, cleansing vices and faults of speech. Bhagwati may my faults and the faults of all beings, obscurations and delusions be expelled. Bless us to grant the infinite wisdom to discover the absolute truth of selflessness.
