MATTEL’S CHILDREN FOUNDATION Established in 1978 Charitable organization incorporated as a nonprofit public benefit corporation Computer learning labs for underserved children in the US, Hong Kong, Mexico and Canada ing mobile clinics to provide preventive healthcare to low-income children Scholarships to children of Mattel employees in 13 countries Domestic Grant making ing healthy lives and active play, literacy, girls’ empowerment and  creating joy for children in need. • International Grant impacting children in need in 30 countries. • Matching Gifts for Mattel employees in  of youth-focused charities and disaster relief.

VOLUNTEERISM • 10,000+ employees come together and organize, volunteer for events in hospitals and schools • In China, manufacturing employees volunteer alongside their management counterparts to make a  meaningful difference in the lives of local disabled children through their work at the Nanhai Charity Center • In more than 20 countries throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia, Mattel employees volunteer  to  their local Special Olympics • Mattel employees are ing children and adults with intellectual disabilities around the world  as part of Team Mattel, the largest global corporate team of volunteers in Special Olympics' history

MATTEL CITIZENSHIP REPORT • Mattel regularly reports on their global citizenship efforts through our dedicated citizenship website.  This process is headed up by the citizenship team. • Mattel publishes a Citizenship Report as they believe It’s important to share progress with our many  stakeholders, and this report is a key way we accomplish this.  • I believe that our commitment to corporate responsibility will nurture and expand our culture of  innovation, because the people at Mattel believe in the power of doing things right, improving  processes, solving problems and saving resources.  • Uptil now they have published 4 such reports: 2004, 2007, 2009 and 2012. • Each report gives details, not only about the past years progress but also gives certain goals for the  coming years.  • Here are a few highlights from their last report:
