EXAM: Students of NIPM approach their examinations in liberal method. Here are the steps a student needs to take for examinations.

“Focus more on your desire than on your doubt, and the dream will take care of itself. You may be surprised at how easily this happens. Your doubts are not as powerful as your desires, unless you make them so.”

A student may apply for examinations once ready with co mplete study of the books provided. Upon requesting examinations, student shall receive examination papers within twenty five working days time. Hence, student shall make a request for examinations at least twenty five days in advance mailto:[email protected] A student should submit the question papers along with answer sheets at the end of examination duration. Results shall be declared within forty-five working days time in the form of marks sheet and certificate. In case of DMS students, the certification shall be three parts consisting of Marks sheet, certificate and appreciation letter in recognition of the project work undertaken successfully as part of course requirements. All marks sheets for semester pattern course shall be issued along with final certificate.

OPTION: If the students desire to appear for three hour class room examination, they can do so. The exams will be conducted at NIPM study centers. In such a case the students will not be allowed to refer study material in the examination center. The students should indicate the preference for this option at the time of ission in application form.

GRADING: Grading is based on percentage of marks scored by individual student. A+ ABC-

Students shall receive the course material within Twenty-one working days time after completion of ission formalities. A student may receive the complete set of materials upon submission of complete applicable fees. A student may apply for examinations once ready with complete study of the books provided. Upon requesting examinations, the student may receive examination papers within fifteen working days time. Hence, a student shall make a request for examinations at least fifteen days in advance. Results shall be declared within forty-five working days. In case of failing in an examination, a student may apply for re examination by submitting Rs.500/- per subject of failing and shall receive fresh set of question papers within fifteen working days time. The fees amount may be submitted in the form of a cheque drawn in the favor of "National Institute of Planning & Management", in case a cheque submitted for fees gets bounced because of lack of funds then the student is liable to pay Rs.500/- towards cheque bounce charges.
