There may be other accredited D providers other than PICE (as of now, there are several applicants under consideration by the Council) Q. How about attendance to seminars other than the D providers? A. For attendees in seminars other than those conducted by accredited D providers, they must apply directly with the D council for the credit units

PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF CIVIL ENGINEERS, INC. Q. Are senior citizens not exempted from the D Law? A. No one is exempted from the D Law for as Long as he/she is engaged in professional practice
Q. How can OFWs obtain D units if there are no accredited providers in their country of work? A. They can avail of the self-directed track and apply directly with the D council
PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF CIVIL ENGINEERS, INC. Q. For graduate diplomas, will they be applicable for life? A. The corresponding D units will only be accredited within the three year period
Q. Can the total D units for the three year period obtained only for one year? A. The maximum creditable units for the year is only 15. Anything over these cannot spill over for the year. Likewise, any deficiency for the year cannot be Compensated by D units in the succeeding year

The corresponding D units will be granted by the council prior to the holding of the training. The rule of thumb is one hour of actual lecture is equivalent to one credit unit. Break time and other activities not related to the practice of the profession will not earn any unit
