1.0 Introduction 1.1 Background of Study
While it is true that the weekends are a time for relaxation, rejuvenation and rest, succumbing to distractions poses a threat to our work ethic and successful habits. Aware of this, the most successful college students use their weekends wisely. Although it's tempting to sleep in on the weekend because it feels good temporarily, over time, and when you sleep past your normal wake-up time, you may end up feeling drowsy and tired. Even though, weekend is fun and lazy day for student. Some of student will make their assignment or finished up their tutorial and revision. Student should make a schedule what they should do when it is weekend. Rather than, enjoying and wasting time. In a school or college, a class schedule is a list that shows the times in the week at which particular subjects are taught. So if students have they schedule during the weekend they might spend a good quality time. Because they can easily improve themselves even though there are a lot of things going around. According to some research, an analysis was performed of how students spend their time while pursuing a bachelor of science in civil engineering at Villanova University. The purpose of this study was to determine how many hours per week students spent both in and out of class and how the students spent their time when not in class or studying. In six out of the eight semesters that students are in the program, they were found to study more often in 2011 than they did in 2004. The students were found to spend approximately 3–4 hours a week on their course work outside of class, or approximately 1–1.25 hours outside of class for every hour spent in-class.

Methodology
2.1
Description of Data
A group of 30 University students from three different course was selected randomly to answer the direct questionnaires. All of them were students of University Mara Technology. There were 15 males and 15 females of the respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is stratified sampling. Population

2.2 Method of Analysis We use a direct questionnaire to collect the data. The questionnaire consists of four sections. Section A aim to find out the respondent’s background information while Section B is to find out about the activities of the student before and to know what they do during weekend. The questions in Section C are designed to find out about what make student happy after weekend. Then, Section D is to investigate the ways university students manage their time properly. All 30 questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. Each respondent was given 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

FIGURE 1 Figure 1 shows the student’s academic activities in weekend. It shows that female student have a higher willingness to attend replacement class on weekend than the male student while male student have a high percentage than female to do a tutorial on their weekend. In addition, both number of male and female student are same in doing test and not to do academic activities on weekend. For instance, female students are likely to have replacement class on their weekend than male student while they are likely to do a tutorial.

Figure 3 shows the student recreation activities in campus on weekend. Apparently, the number of male student that has the ability to do a recreation activities in campus on weekend wisely is higher (9 students) compared to female (6 students). Hence, the number of male students who are votes for not doing a recreation activities in campus on weekend are lower than the female students. This is in contrast to what Steel and Ferrari (2013) studies indicated that young, under-educated men is poor in doing recreation activities in campus on weekend.

Figure 3 shows the students regularly went to shopping mall on weekend. 53% students are regularly went to shopping mall on weekend while the other 47% of student are not. College students found that went to shopping mall on their weekend are more fun than staying at the hostel. They are likely to spend all their weekend went to shopping

Figure 5 shows that UITM students are more likely to finish up their assignment during weekend. It shows that female and male students have the same percentage on study and finish up their assignment this because some of their might have a schedule our time management that are properly done. But they also some of student disagree to make schedule. To conclude, that most of the student are likely to finish up their assignment during the weekend. Some of it also study on the weekend. It shows that some of students did not have any plan or schedule in doing a study during the weekend.

Figure 5 shows that the percentage of female is will meet up with their friends on weekend. This is good because they can release their stress. From a lot of assignment given or a stress week they been through. The responses from student shows that 73% female student agree and 27% male student disagree. Student should not be too hard on themselves when it comes to do revision because it will cause many of problem such as depression and anxiety and others. Some of students should at least enjoy their time but also should keep focus on classes. To conclude, student should balance their time when spending it and be more active in class if they want to enjoy the time during weekend.

Figure 6 shows about student’s opinion on weekends if they happy if it’s time for them to release tension. It shows that most of the students feeling happy when it comes to weekends. Based on this survey its show that male students is most happy compare to the female students. This chart shows that students feeling happy when it comes to the weekend because they can relax from any activities or classes. Furthermore, during weekends, students also can enjoy with their time with family and friend. In conclusion, it means that both female and male agree that, during weekends they feeling happy because it’s time for them to release tension.

Figure 7 presents the student’s opinion on the weekend if they still happy if is a chance for them to finish all the assignments. Apparently, the number of female students that still happy to finish all the assignments during weekends is higher (8 students) compared to male (6 students. Most of the male student is not feeling happy when they have to finish all their assignments during weekends. This because, the students like to do many activities during weekends except for to finish their assignment. Based on this chart, most of the female students still feeling happy during weekend if it is a chance for them to finish all the assignments compared to male students.

It shows that female students agree to finish their assignments and manage to separate their time with social activity while there are plenty amount of male students disagree that they can separate their time. Hendrickson asserts that rigid adherence to task lists can create a “tyranny of the to-dolist” that forces one to “waste time on unimportant activities”. Figure 9 shows the ways to manage time properly during weekend. Both of the male and female students agree that they will finish one task before going to the next tasks. The responses from the students shows that 27% male students disagree and 20% agree. While 33% female students agree and 10% strongly agree that will finish the task one by one before starting new tasks given. Manage the time punctuality make student easy to cover all of the task before the due date of submission. Knowing that all of the task also help you to finish it faster and will save your time. Your responsibility in managing time and duty is a helpful way to determine how you are using your time. To conclude, the students not able to do all the tasks given only on weekend. This also depends on how student can catch up and give all their attention to finish the tasks.

Figure 10 shows that UITM students on their ways to manage time properly such as make a weekend to-do list. It shows that 23% of female students agree to refer their weekend to- do list for a several times per day. There is plenty amount of male students strongly agree to refer the list. Other than that, there is also 1 female student disagree to make the weekend task list. 20% of male students and 13% female students are strongly disagree in this questionnaire. From the chart above, we can conclude that most of the male student are strongly disagree about the weekend to- do list while most of the female student are agree to make a to-do list for their weekend. It shows male students not planning their activity on weekend.
