Introduction
There is and will never be a performance greater than Christ’s death on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. God was so loving, full of grace, mercy and kindness that he came to earth to experience life in the flesh for our sake and left us with the precious gift of His Holy Spirit. He allowed himself to experience horrific things all because he loves us. Even before we were born he loved us, he knew every sin we would ever commit yet, he devised a plan so that we could be forgiven and saved. I am so happy to know that He loves us unconditionally. What Christ did for us, He only had to do once, His love, grace and mercy towards us will last forever-Jesus Christ is the one and only Everlasting Encore. I pray we desire to love the Lord in such a way that we experience the greatest love of our lives—the only one who should ever take center stage in all our lives… Jesus Christ.
My Mother’s Prayer
Read the Bible every day and pray. Live the way the Bible tells you too. Don’t argue or fight with anyone. Be good to each other. You all stay together. Amen.
My mother whispered these words as she fell fast asleep Down inside our hearts these words we must keep The wisdom that she shared Can only be compared To a love she had so deep For a Savior she prayed we’d meet She forever proclaimed Jesus Christ is his name.
An Audience of One
Jesus is the only one, you need to impress You’re center stage and He’s seated front row So, you better perform your best He’s watching everything you do And listening to all you say He’s taking notes and praying for you As you perform this one act play You’ll know when your life has truly begun When you recognize and totally surrender your life And live for an audience of one
Claiming My Stance
There is a place I’ll take my chance In this place I claim my stance It’s in this place I make my plea It’s in this place down on my knees In this place, I can see All my sins have been washed away By the power Of Christ Holy name All I have And forever will be I owe it Lord all to thee So, I bow With lifted hands And with all my heart I take my stance At the cross is where I’ll be With my head bowed low and on bended knees This is the place I take my chance
This is the place I claim my stance
Every Seed
Every seed that you sow Is a promise that will grow What you plant Will indeed Produce another crop of seed. Love, peace, joy, patience, Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gentleness and self-control All those seed will grow If those are the seeds That you sow.
The Day of My Reveal
You think you’re proud of me now? Well, let me tell you this There is a me you haven’t seen Cause God’s not ready yet He’s busy making my way clear And developing my inner strength He’s developing my heart and mind So I can clearly think The thing’s God have in store for me Are not just for anyone They’re secrets that He only knows And He hasn’t told anyone All these things are locked inside Where no one else can steal The dreams that I so often dream Will one day be for real Then you… Will see…
The me… God sees… On the day of my reveal!
Holy is the King
While walking down the street I hear the birds and the bees I see the leaves blowing on the trees I know beyond the clouds I have another home Free of sickness and disease Where the Angel’s cry Holy, holy, holy, holy Holy is the king I know in the sky Way up high There’s a power greater than me So I dance and sing Fall upon my knees and sign praises to my heavenly king I will cry Holy, holy, holy, holy Holy is the king
Expect a Miracle
I’ve always searched for something Of what? I’m not yet clear I know I have desires Of things that are so dear In my heart I know There’s someplace I must go Something I must see And something I must be Beyond my thoughts and dream As impossible as it may seem I expect a miracle I truly expect a miracle
How Wonderful
God’s majesty and His splendor From January to December Clothed in its’ own attire For all the world to ire Everything made by God’s hand Praising Him at His Holy command Oh, how wonderful to be Part of God’s creativity
Bragging About my Dad
The best conversations I’ve ever had Were with my dad He’s wiser than anyone could ever be He’s the maker of the earth, sky and sea He owns all heaven and earth It’s not possible to determine His worth He’s stronger and more powerful than everyone combined More awesome and faithful Than anyone you’ll find He can speak to the wind and the waves And even they behave He owns all the cattle on every hill Even plants and flowers summit to His will I love my dad and he loves me He’s the greatest dad there will ever be
If You Ever Decide
Have you ever decided to Wait and see Or just keep moving along hurriedly Have you ever decided to Watch, mediate and pray Or just rehearse your circumstances all night and all day Have you ever decided to Sit quiet and hear The voice of the Lord as He whispers in your ear Or dwell in agony, chaos, and fear If you ever decide To just be still Then you would see God’s glory and His plan revealed
Good Friday
This is the day That I was saved This is the day No eggs were colored or laid This is the day No bunny was hopping This is the day Nobody went shopping This is the day No Friday can beat This is the day Death, hell and the grave Meet their defeat! This is the day That Jesus, My Savior I’ll meet
Unconditionally
I cannot perceive something so undeserving God’s banner over me Is His love No greater love I’ve ever known No greater love I’ve ever been shown I am blessed indeed That He loves me So Unconditionally His love for me will never die The greatest love forever stands by my side Even though He knows my sins On me He cannot depend Jesus loves me So Unconditionally
A love so deep I’ve never known A love so pure
I can call my own Jesus really loves me So Unconditionally
All my sins He washed away Hung on the cross So that I would be saved No greater love Have I ever known No greater love Have I ever been shown Jesus truly loves me So Unconditionally
Love like this I’ve never known Love like His I’ve never been shown Love so pure I can call my very own
Yes, Jesus truly loves me So Unconditionally
The Everlasting Encore
When a performance is grand, everybody stands To cheer and clap and raise their hands Flick on lighters for all to see That in agreement they all should be But, He who holds the World in His hand Only He knows the beginning from the end Died on the cross for you and me A performance that would last through all eternity Our Savior forever, indeed More faithful than any friend Our father, redeemer and King He died for us on Calvary
Jesus is The Everlasting Encore
If I had ten thousand tongues I’d praise Him with everyone
Alpha, Omega Beginning and End Never will I find Such a faithful and trusted friend I bow down before Him I worship and adore Him He came as a man To fulfill God’s master plan All power on earth and heaven are in His hands He had a choice to live or die The decision He made Spared all our lives
Jesus is The Everlasting Encore
Jesus is the only one God’s only begotten son Part of His Master plan For you and me Was that we would live life more abundantly
Jesus is The Everlasting Encore
The Victory is Already Yours
The victory is already yours No matter what comes your way The victory is already yours Despite what others may say The victory is already yours Despite how it may seem I know the victory is yours Because through Christ You’ve already been redeemed.
Choose To Live by Faith
The only way to win this race Is to choose to live by faith In the power of His Might You and I can’t lose this fight He’s obligated to help us succeed If in Him we surrender all our needs This race we’ll win at God’s pace But Not without His love, mercy and grace.
The Truth About the Truth
The truth about The Truth Is He can never lie The truth about The Truth Is He will always be the same The truth about The Truth Is He will never ever die The truth about The Truth Is He covers a multitude of sins The truth about The Truth Is He is the way and the life The truth about The Truth He is God’s only begotten son The truth about The Truth Is He defeated hell, death and the grave The truth about The Truth Is
Because He lives we are saved.
Spiritual Gift
There’s a reason we are here Everyone’s reason should be clear To take the spiritual gift God gave to us The gift He gave with all His trust And use the gift the best we can To glorify His Holy Name
If I Purpose
If I purpose to live my life in shame I have no one else to blame If I purpose to live my life filled with strife And take rule over my own life If I purpose to always beg and borrow And live in unnecessary sorrows As if there is no tomorrow After all this hollow living If I purpose to turn And surrender to Jesus Christ His purpose will be To Sheppard my life
Directions
This lane or that lane Where should I be? In the lane that God has assigned for me This lane or that lane Where should I stay? On my knees ready to pray This lane or that lane Where will it lead? If I follow God, I know He and I Will be pleased The road will lead to a blessed place Filled with God’s goodness, love and grace
Where I’d Rather Be
The place I’d truly rather be is in the Master’s hand. The way that I would rather go, is the way the Lord will show The words that I would rather say, are words that glorify His name. The place that I would rather stay is in God’s loving arms. The love that I would rather seek, is the love the Lord has shown towards me. The comfort I would rather feel while waiting on the Master’s will, Is to trust Him and be still.
Blind Folded
I’m on my way to a place, I can’t see but I know that it’s my destiny The road I take is not yet clear It’s been filled with discouragement and fear But through faith by grace I’ll continue on Regardless of all the turmoil and stress I know the plan God has for me is for the best
Who?
Who could ever love me more? Who has the power to open and close every door? Who can keep me in His hand and never let me be plucked out by any man? Who could guide me with His Master plan? Who could teach me how to pray and live my life a straight and narrow way Who defeated hell, death and the grave? Who did not seek fortune or fame? Who could do anything but fail? Who came to show me the way and surrendered His life so that I would saved? Jesus Christ is his name.
Possibilities
The only thing that I could see is a life filled with possibilities Regardless of my wealth or fame and even favor from men My focus will always be greater than my hopes and dreams The thing I know I’ll always be Is whatever God intended for me.
Strength
Hard times come and hard times go In between them all Strengthen your prayer and increase your faith And wait for as long as it takes God will reveal His purpose, power and might All you have to do is stay in the fight.
In My Own Way
I have tried to live my life the way I thought it should go The things I did and wanted to do Were all about me and seldom about you I tried and failed and failed again Until I surrendered to you, my God and trusted friend Now I follow every day the will of My Father-come what may My life is fulfilled because I know My life is not about me, it’s not my own show Everything I am and everything I own Belongs to Christ and Him alone
Using My Senses
I look in the mirror and see The grace of God stirring back at me I look in the mirror and say The Lord is with me day by day I look in the mirror and hear The Lord whispering He loves me and telling me He’s near I look in the mirror and know The Lord is able to show me the way I ought to go I look in the mirror and smile Because the Lord receives me as His child
Everything
Jesus needs me and you to do all we’re sent to do for people to love and be true, To know Christ above all things He alone is everything He’s Jesus our Savior and King The Lord of all He’s my everything God sent His only Child to walk along this earth a while To show us His love through and through Emanuel bright morning star, Christ the King that’s who you are Jesus, our Savior and King Jesus you’re my everything Thank you Lord for saving me My whole heart, I give to thee Mary’s child, God’s only son, Prince of Peace, that’s who you are Jesus, my Savior and King Jesus you’re my everything Thank you, for saving me

We’re Equal
You’re not better than me And I’m not better than you We’re blessed with gifts That come from God They’re things we’re supposed to do There sole purpose is Not for me or you But to glorify the Lord.
The Wrong and the Right
I keep singing so the people can hear me But, that’s not what I want to do Lord, I want to sing so I can Praise and glorify you! I keep singing Because I like song the melody and the beat They cause me to clap and move my feet But, that’s not what I want to do Lord, I want to sing so I can Dance, worship, and glorify you!
Discipleship
I want to become a disciple of Christ, Yes I truly do I want to become a disciple of Christ and do what He wants me to I want to look in the mirror Of God’s Holy Word And Trust that Christ will cleanse and heal My soul, my spirit, my will So that I can walk and talk And become more like Him Yes, I want to be a disciple of Christ For the rest of my life.
No Ordinary Man
Although I’m just a babe in Christ His Word I do not fully know I do believe that trusting and believing Are things that I must show I realize there is a power Much greater than myself And that this unordinary book Should not remain upon a shelf So, I open my Bible to read Immediately I perceive No ordinary man can do These extraordinary things like you.

Summary for book:
The Everlasting Encore Author: Abigail J. Harvey
I believe that Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins and yours because He loves us. There are some things you have to do repeatedly for someone to show them your love. However, what Christ did for us on the cross He had to do only once. His undying love for us was displayed for eternity. He has given us An Everlasting Encore.
The inspirational poems are written as praise and worship to God for all that He alone has done and continues to do in all of our lives. They are thank you notes for His unfailing and undying love. He alone has done more than we could ever imagine. I am so glad He loves us. His love and mercy towards us are new every morning, despite where we are from, who we are, how we look and what we’ve done. He loves us more than we will ever comprehend. The inspirational poems tell of a past, present and future relationship with God. God is truly amazing. He’s The Everlasting Encore!
